I miss Hepzibah's original anthro-skunk appearance. Oh well.... Kirt Busiek and George Perez created both new heroes and villains when they were in charge of THE AVENGERS, but either have largely gone unused. I mostly miss Silverclaw, who was basically a South American version of Alpha Flight's Snowbird.

Thing about Quake is they made it clear she was going to be like, the big core Avenger of the future. The whole executive meddling with the inhumans replacing the X-men messed with her though.

I'm with you on Darkhawk. He was my favorite character in the 90s. Then they did a retcon and generally forgot about him and we can't tell if some of his story arcs are real or a hallucination. They had no idea what to do with the character. To me, in the beginning, it felt like what Spider-man was, a high schooler trying to balance being a hero and a teen. Even the New Warriors recognized it (another favorite Marvel did dirty). Now Marvel seems to have abandoned him completely.

HEY this is Mervel Strikeforce erasure!! Quake isn't gone... she was a really early character in MSF and she was really good for like a month before becoming one of the worst characters in the game. So we haven't forgotten about her over in the MSF community... we still joke about her! And the robo-suit Darkhawk is a newer (actually pretty good) character on one of the best teams. And Adam Warlock is a Legendary on the Infinity Watch team... easily the team that has been in the main meta for longest. They've been a good team for more than 2 years!!

Speaking of forgotten heroes, DC's Blue Devil is mostly a background character these days but back in his initial three-year run he was ranked in the top 5 titles, he crossed over with just about everyone, and he just seemed poised for greatness. I'd love to see a video about that.

Alpha would make a great villain to all the new teen heroes like Kamala, Miles, and Sam. Alpha was a sidekick but his mentor really screwed him over (justified or not) so him wanting other teen heroes to suffer would be interesting.

Wouldn't really say Marvel's forgotten about quake considering she was a main character in a show heavily connected to the MCU. I mean the show led into age of Ultron plus introduced in humans technically to the MCU. And considering how many seasons it was around for I wouldn't say they forgot about her whatsoever. She's gotten more spotlight than other characters they've legitimately forgot about

No 5️⃣ I at least remember him from "The Super Hero Squad Show" the Guardians of the Galaxy episode from "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" and of course, Will Poulter's portrayal of the character in "Guardians of the Galaxy Volume Three" after he was foreshadowed in a post credit scene in Vol. 2 first

Well here is a list of gods that marvel has forgotten. Mithras the God of light that was very active during hyborian age. His mother is gaea and he is one of gods that can handle elder gods. In norse mythology marvel have forgotten thors siblings again and again and they never gets power ups in the comics... Both balder (can be an avatar of mithras) and tyr god of war are absent.

To clarify: Forget-Me-Not is one of the original X-Men ... whom no one remembers because of his power, which is to make people and even things forget about him the moment they take their eyes off him. The only person who remembers him at all is Professor X, and then only because he made sure to get a permanent mindlock on him.
