I bought a sample of it and couldn't initially smell anything. Until the ambroxan, which I cannot stand, or don't smell correctly, I'm not sure which. I just know ambroxan stinks to my nose. I gave the sample to my mother to try and she loved it immediately. BR540 is weird how it's so dramatically different to different people.

The first decant of Babycat I ever ordered gave me hard core black pepper first time. I stuck it in my decant for quite awhile, distracted by everything else new per usual lol. When I circled back around some strange magic occurred where all of a sudden I got all that delicious vanilla mixed with suede, and leather has always been a yesyeses note for me. It was a whole new world. Funny how that can happen!

Psychedelic Love is definitely a masterpiece and in my top five for life! Love it! I am surprised though that it is #1 though, because not many people rave about it (anymore). I could bathe in it! It might be fun to do a video on which house (designer or niche) has the most masterpieces in its/their line.

Fun to see the list, but I’m reminded again that my taste is very different from many in this community. I can’t stomach BR540 or Delina, although I do enjoy Gris Charnel and Babycat. Masterpieces on my list would include Ormande Jayne Woman, Serge Lutens Chergui, Zoologist Tyrannosaurus Rex, Amouage Epic / Dia (W) and Dusita Fleur de Lalita. Swoon!! 😍

I love this video! Delina(s) doesn’t shock me at all. Psychedelic Love does as most from Initio can be a lot for most folks….but I need to revisit it again! I agree with Gentle Fluidity Gold needs to be on here as does Naxos from Xerjoff (masculine leaning….but the best Xerjoff IMO)

Atomic Rose is beautiful yes, but it didn’t feel like me. As a spicy rose, I absolutely adore Tabac Rose! Definitely need to try Zenobia, Unknown Pleasures and Psychedelic. My personal masterpiece is Rosendo No5 and I feel my best when I wear this😉

I absolutely hated Delina Exclusif and so I waited 2 years to try the OG Delina! I absolutely love and adore Delina the OG. Delina Exclusive was an absolute scrubber for me, couldn’t wait to wash it off. I immediately gave away my 10ml decant I hated it so much. I will be getting a full bottle of Delina the OG!!!❤❤❤

This was so much fun! I own 3/10 (if we’re counting extraits, it’s 4/10 🙃) - Delina Exclusif, Sunshine Woman, Angelique Noir, and BR540 extrait (I think I’m anosmic to the regular BR540). I bought Angelique Noir on the grey market with a little more than 1/3 left and it’s soooo hard to just enjoy it (rather than use it sparingly). After watching your video, I ran and put some on…I’ll smell amazing going to bed 😻💯 I definitely need to get a decant of Unknown Pleasures! I love that it made the cut.

You know...when I see these picks from the crowd, I feel like there are almost "Masterpiece Categories" of fragrances...Like: Unknown Pleasures could also be Lira, Love and Crime, Akro Bake etc. *the Citrus Vanillas, BR540 could be Cloud, Amber Rouge..etc. are the Ambroxan or Woody/Musky, Atomic Rose and Delina could be in the same vein (powerhouse roses)...and so on...Just a thought. ❤

Just sprayed unknown pleasures and yep just hit the confirm order button .. she’s so much better then I thought she would be and I have ALOT of lemon Angelique Noir was the first grown up vanilla that made my eyes roll back but when I sprayed her on my skin it made me sick … not sure If it was the Angelica ? I had to shower and scrub hard to get it off… This was when I first got into fragrances so maybe I need to try again … but I’m scared lol I was surprised Absolute Aphrodisiac didn’t make it to the list

Love love love Zenobia! Unfortunately, l just bought a full bottle and the performance is not as beast mode as the sample l had from the beginning of the year 😢… l contacted the official website and they said it is a new batch and they didn’t change the formula…. Still very sad since l love this scent. Delina is a masterpiece as BR504 because it was nothing like that before. Unfortunately, since they are so many dupes, they are hard to wear in my opinion. I also agree with Atomic Rose as a night time Delina. For me even that is polarized, l consider Guidance a master piece too more than Sunshine Woman. Great video! ❤

Your take on Babycat really shows that just because a fragrance could be considered a masterpiece, doesn't mean anyone would like it. From this list I tried Baccarat rouge, Delina, Delina exclusive and Angelique noir. Baccarat rouge is the only one from this line up that I liked. Because of the trillion flankers I am getting a bit tired of it, but it still is my most complemented fragrance.

I don’t get the hype of Babycat either, to me it smells like Christian church with a tiny tiny vanilla in the back. Scrubber!! 😅 Delina Exclusive it’s definitely a masterpiece. I also love Bianco Latte although it’s kinda simple, but omg i can’t get over it, it’s a narcotic. Ouverture and Italica from Xerjoff , addictive. Boadicea the Victorious perfumes are masterpieces also, i love Bodacious. LV Ombre Nomad masterpiece.

I went to Harrods to specifically smell Babycat as I'd heard so much about it. I hate it. We're in the same club. I think Atomic Rose and Delina has a similar DNA. I have the original and the Exclusif but prefer the Exclusif x

Imo I do not think that unknown pleasures was special at all, the Baccarat was also not very special, Gris charnel is well it's not a good brand overall imo and everything Amouage smells like old lady bottom fluffs ( indols flowers and fart )
