@@cameronsingleton6763 It has elements of being a metroidvania. There are three abilities you can get which basically unlock new paths to take but other than that, it's a roguelite through and through.

@ agreed I think it’s the best way to classify the game. I only started playing since the Castlevania DLC launched. I am hooked.
