Modest Deux is supposed to be a dupe of the PRE reformulated version of La Nuit Tresor. I think they did a beautiful job. ❤

Kaheela lux is one of my favorites. Smells good from day one. However, together with Kaheela, I received a sample of cognac blaze perfume and I think it is my favorite for this fall and winter. I ordered the full size and can't wait for it to arrive. It is really a beautiful and unique perfume.

So I just bought the Baroque Satin Oud and it came today. OMG Maria, I could kiss you!!! It’s AMAZING!!! This will definitely be my go-to cool weather fragrance! I cannot stop sniffing myself!

I loooooove Eternal Oud... Acquired taste I feel though. Very ambery and resinous! But to my husband and I, it's coming off really nostalgic, it's like a warm hug from a grandpa in a basement, in the best way possible. It's a GREAT performer in the winter as well. Lasts on clothes until you wash it off.

You know what’s crazy-I bought Jasmine Wisp after hearing raves last year. Sprayed it & loved the opening but it was gone 30 minutes later. I kid you not. So I put it away for months now & recently tried again. Same thing. It sucks now😢Bums me right out to hear you call it bombastic & eternal-like WHAT?!😢😢

I love Modest Deux! ❤ I just wish the chocolate there is more prominent and be linear throughout the wear. I'm not a fan of perfumes that change scents drastically. I'm eyeing on C.A.C.A.O. I may get it before the year ends.

Three favorites for fall from my small Arabian collection are Paris Corner Rifaqaat, Al Rehab Coco Musk, layer it with Lataffa Ansaam Gold to smell like a trick or treat bag, and I really like Lataffa Quimmah it’s a Good Girl Dupe.

My current obsession is Khadlaj Empire Victor ( the new one after reformulation ). This is absolutely stunning yummy, sexi, spicy vanilla with a hint of lemon. It's so much better than Lataffa's Eclaire. You need to try it, Maria! 🤗

I currently live in the Southern US and I am self employed so I can wear the deeper woody, oudy scents I prefer year round. But when I go out in close settings I comply with Western fragrance norms which is why I enjoy getting these points of view.

For me, my top 3 would be Club de Nuit (clear bottle) as sexy scent. Modest Deux which I took out and wore for the first time this year...omg, was on the fence about it last year and now, after it sat over the warmer weather, it smells AMAZING!!! And finally, I don't own it yet but got a sample and it's lovely...the original Bint Hooran in the black bottle--it's lighter/softer and just a wonderful scent.

I LOOOOOOVE Modest Deux. My bottle was very new and had a recent production date. But like most ME fragrances that I buy, I let it oxidize a bit and WOW! What started out as a disappointment that seemed overly synthetic is now one of my go to faves. And because I don't use it daily, every time I do use it it's matures a little more. It's really fantastic. And it's hard to put a dent in such a large bottle! Yep, I'm fan girling!❤❤❤

Hi Maria, I tried a sample of Baroque Satin Oud from Fragbar, but I didn’t like it 🫣🫣🫣. I think I’m still into freshy, gourmand, and daytime/signature-scent kind of fragrances in my fragrance journey. I finally picked up Montaigne Coco and Atlantis by Asdaaf (Fragbar and FragranceBuy have them in stock now respectively). Over the summer, I added Tharwah Gold, Nebras, Bois de Vanille by Le Bois, Bade'e Al Oud Sublime, and Devotion by D&G to my collection. I’m way over 3 but I’m enjoying my fragrances more than ever, thanks to your recommendations!!! 😊❤️

I've heard Tharwah Gold being described several times as the love child of Libre Intense and L'Interdit, even though it doesn't have any tuberose. Regardless, it sounds like I would enjoy it, especially since, like you, I'm not a big fan of Libre (at least the OG, I'm curious about the Parfum). We were having some beautiful fall weather here in N. California, but then this week it's back to the 90's 😑 I'm so impatient to wear my cozy frags, especially Kaheela Lux, Oud Bouquet and Baroque Satin Oud.

I bought Baroque Satin Oud when a KZbinr said it was a close dupe to MFK's. I love the scent itself but just wish it weren't such a powder bomb! I spray it with that in mind and try not to do it right before I have to be around people!

Baroque Satin Oud was my first ME fragrance purchase last winter. It got me kicked off on the journey. I paid about $15 US for it. My top 3 right now for fall would be Laraib by Asdaaf, Nefertiti by Hamidi and Voux Elegante by Paris Corner. Top layering perfume for any of them is Soiree by Maison Asrar - new to me but ohhhhhhhhman it makes anything gourmond.

I just got Jasmine wisp for my birthday last week, and it was an instant love! My husband, who does not like very many of my perfumes, also really really really likes Jasmine wisp. My two daughters both wanted to wear it immediately after smelling it… It’s truly beautiful. But, I wasn’t sure it would be appropriate for fall and winter, so I packed it away with my spring and summer Perfumes. But I wasn’t sure it should go there either. So thank you, I’ve decided I’m going to pull it back out and enjoy it this fall and winter!😃
