South Korea is technically in a state of war with North Korea because armistice was never signed. South Korea has one of the world's greatest artillery production capacity, and based on this, it exports a lot of military supplies to Europe because they use NATO standards too. Traditional powers like Germany are not in a state of war, so they can not have the same level of productivity as South Korea. This is not surprising, since South Korea's technology in electronics, semiconductors, memory chips, OLED displays, lithium batteries, automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding, petrochemicals, steel, nuclear power plants etc. are all ranked 1st to 3rd in the world.

The reason why a small land country like Korea is so powerful is that it has a large number of weapons but high performance of its weapons. The Air Force has more than 1,500 air force aircraft, including the F15, F16, and F35, and its ground forces are as fluent in cyber warfare and StarCraft as they are comparable to neighboring countries of China and Russia. One can guess how good they are. The Navy also has tremendous power compared to territorial waters, which are small enough to have 13 destroyers, including two helicopter carriers and 22 submarines, and Korea is a conscripted country, so men over the age of 20 can basically handle personal firearms (guns, grenades, etc.). Even after being discharged from the military, they are often called up to prepare in case of emergency and receive basic military knowledge and action training. It is surprising that they can control tanks or control helicopters in case of emergency depending on the location of the military.
