Fraser is by far one of the most humble, down to earth, and kind hearted actors in the business. He never deserved the negativity he got from Hollywood or his blacklisting. I met him at Comic-Con years ago and he was so genuinely sweet and welcoming to the fans. I was too nervous to ask for a picture but he took notice and asked me if I liked one and when I said yes he said “never be afraid to ask, sweetie. I’m one of the few who won’t say no.” I loved him.

I adore Brendan Fraser. The Mummy movies were a staple of my childhood, but I never really followed his career. I was devastated to learn about what happened to him and the hardships he endured. I'm so glad that he's been able to overcome it and is back in the public eye. I was able to see Brendan on a panel at Galaxycon in Raleigh back in July and he is the sweetest and coolest person. He is so amazing and passionate about his work. The room was full of good energy and nothing but love for him and he was equally grateful. I have gained so much respect and admiration for him. Not only as an actor, but as a person. I love everyone coming together to support him. It's such a wonderful thing. He deserves it so much! Brendan was kind of the Indiana Jones for the mid-2000s generation with his Mummy movies. Sure those movies are nowhere near the quality of the Indiana Jones films, but his dedication to performing his own stunts and basically destroying his body because of it really went a long way to making them stick in the minds of those who grew up with them.
