Love that Starlet. Wish it was still Toyota powered, like a built BEAMS 3S or a turbo Haselgren engine but it's not mine so oh well, still sweet. The top 10 covered by like 6-7 seconds? Guys were really pushing it out there 🤙

1:46 i think im to high for this... when ever the lil subaru would let off the gas. the hood would pop up a little and some reason it reminded me of my old cat when he would run at full speed he would start to sneeze uncontrollably and i swear im crying laughing right now. also not high but very tired

From my own personal experiences racing against GM v8 swapped cars, and how easily a 600rwhp "LS" based platform in a light chassis can blow the tires off, I'm a bit pessimistic about that Kadette, as much as I do love that specific car, having 805 N/A horsepower. Even crank. That's Nascar engine territory.

@@alejandrocanadasgomez8701 yeah the displacement definitely gives away that its either a LS1 or LT1. I found out its probably an LS1 which have been known to make 800+ N/A.

It says in the video that it's an LT5, I guess it's the older LT5 from c4 vette because the modern one isn't 5.7l but I might be wrong

@@juhelavaan Damnn an OG LT5 N/A build is amazing. That engine is legendary. And yeah it is also a 5.7L, but that is a much less common engine to use in a build. I cant be the new LT5 as it comes as a 6.2L stock with a blower. the Kadett is clearly N/A.

This is an LT5 very much in the same spec as used on the Lotus Elise GT1 ;)
