While this is a really great video, I’d like to point out that the #2 was so high because it created a three-tri meta, but Splatoon 3’s Splash, which made a quad splash meta, did not make the list. But overall, really great video

the reason tri slosher had a triple meta was because the main weapon was really stupid broken. The reason we had a triple splash meta was because the special was really stupid broken like with the jet squelches. But I would argue that s2 missile and sting ray were worse to fight than a crab tank. But thanks for the support!

just a couple of things i want to add. first off i don't know how you missed s1 elitre. that thing could shoot from another country not to mention one of the sets had burst bombs which were compatible with damage up in that game so fending off enemy's at close range wasn't a problem either. second i would say beta rollers were way more overpowered that blasters since the entire hitbox was a one shot but almost nobody knew how to use it at the time.

If I were to add a 11th weapon then it would’ve been s1 e-liter. The reason why is because while yes it is pretty insane what it could do with damage up, you could still fight against the weapon with good positioning and flanking while a lot of the weapons on the list didn’t have any counter play. We picked blasters over rollers just because of how more mobile they are compared to a roller, remember that curling bomb didn’t exist yet.

As another tri slosher main, I can kinda? See why ppl hate it because it's decently easy to use with a low skill floor but it's not that bad from a unbiased and objectives standpoint and totally not another slosher player

For splash, the main weapon wasn’t broken, the special was. If splash got zipcaster or something we still would’ve been in a crab meta just because of how good the special is, now that we’ve seen some crab nerds, splash ha fallen out of the meta. We didn’t add s1 e-literally because at least there was some actual counter play by having good positioning and flanking the sniper. Which the average player back then didn’t know how to do.

Man s1 was wild With blasters, rollers, slosher, and e-liter all being broken Oh yah there was also disruptor and burst bombs used to be 25% Oh yah and invincibility specials existed as well as zooka being busted Oh yah and damage up, defense up, and quick respawn were all broken Oh yah and some of the games maps were just horrible. Like worse the S3 maps But man with all that being said splatoon 1 is still so much fun to come back to from time to time. It’s the broken shit that truly makes it special

I'd say Squeezer in both 2 and 3 definitely deserves to be here. It's by far the best shooter main with literally every quality you might want from one, being baisically a Splash-o-Matic with double the range and no downsides. And the kits are all top-grade too- in 3 it's wall zooka, very strong and synergetic, and in 2 Foil had the coveted bomb+bubble blower, the strongest kit in the series full stop. Stock S2 Squeez was no pushover either, Stingray was controversial but it had wall and just enough range to use it aggressively, and it was also 180p with better paint than Jet so it could theoretically spam it more too. And just a sub of MPU also made its tapshots combo into auto mode, so you didn't even need to tap all the time- if the enemy is close, just use it like a regular shooter, as long as you hit the first shot you'll splat just as fast as Zap.

I think if k52 is here, foil squeezer should be too since they directly competed with each other for the no. 1 slot when they became meta Also I think jet squelcher shouldnt be here at all, it was good but it was never quite the best weapon in the game, and theres multiple choices id put above it that werent on the list

personally i think the most broken weapons are blasters and octo brushes (normal brush is ok) because i feel like anyone can play them and still dominate since you barely have to aim

blasters are easily one of the most aim and movement intensive weapons. The minute you get close to them they either need a direct or a teammate to save them and octobrush is one of the hardest weapons to play against good players, has a difficult special, and is overall just an insanely high skill ceiling weapon (and yet still has a weird as middle hitbox sometimes)

U didn't mention that dynamo was also good bcs it used to beable to start flicking its show while it was still in the air from a stealth jump super jump, so dynamos would rain down and u would have point blank to react to a dynamo that came out on no where and killed u with its massive hit box. This was so broken that they made it if u ran stealth jump in splatoon 1, for all main weapons couldn't start shooting until they actually landed

I actually kinda wish the disruptor and cherry H-3 nozzlenose came back. Toxic mist, while better for covering area, is rather mediocre, and I wish it had similar effects that it had for disruptor in splatoon. Plus, most of the disruptor weapons were mediocre besides zink mini splatling, which struggled a lot at long ranges. Also, H-3 is a high skill weapon that didn't paint well, which made it not get that many of players.

@@kristopherhayes1957 H-3 just needs to be more consistent with its damage whether that be with a damage buff or making the shots faster. Dynamo needs to make the hitbox actually work like it did in splatoon 2. Blasters are in a good spot right now with alot of good options, it really depends on the meta to decide whether blasters are good or not. Disrupter should never be added back to a splatoon game ever.

I'll be 100 percent honest, Splatoon 3 has broken weapons left and right with some entire weapon classes being overpowered. Now we can all agree that much of this frustration could be lifted with better maps but even then the amount of broken overpowered weapons in Splatoon 3 is literally killing the game. Specials aren't AS bad but even then many specials in Splatoon 3 need either higher points needed or adjustments. Hel I would bet you adjustments to hitboxes would fix so much but as it stands hitboxes on projectiles is a nightmare. In Splatoon 3 your skill means nothing, all that matters is your internet connection and which op weapon you picked

we didn’t include them mainly because with how Splatoon 1’s maps were, if you had good positioning you could flank the e-liter. But high most people myself included DIDNT know when playing Splatoon 1 because we were worse at the game. If they put S1 elites into S3 then it would 100% be on the list

Playing Gold Dynamo in this game is a huge hit or miss. Some maps and modes are unplayable with the Dynamos, but others are perfect for it (unless you face against like a Hydra and Charger bc then... :/ yeah) and you can dominate the game. Humpback Pump Track for example is great for Dynamos.

That thing is broken, it has: the best main weapon EVER in the series, one of the best bombs but the real thing is bubble blower, you can’t react to a well set up bubble combo and it just destroys everything nearby. splash was mainly good because crab was good and it’s not like jet squelches where the special it has is one of the best in the entire series. Like Missiles and sting ray are way better than crab tank ever was and it wasn’t even a question. But machine had the broken hitbox and had its dream kit. It’s close but I still think that peak machine is better than splash
