Dhoom is remember for its villians only. John Abraham in Dhoom 1, Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2 really made Dhoom Franchise iconic. John's character escaping on bike while taking all the money was really top notch. Hritik escaping with a bag in disguise 🥸 of old man and immediately coming out of a manhole and escaping using skates it was still iconic. I remembered that there was huge applause when these two scenes where shown in theaters

Kuchh films technologically and practically sahi rahega aur kuchh filmy (jaise Dhoom), uska matlab ye nahi ke us film ke hisab se wo villain isliye achha laga kyunki hero/police stupid tha. In short, Dhoom ek masala movie hai, full of action as well as stupid comedy. Waisa ek film me John jitna khudko present kiya, wo Dhoom ke hisaab se bohot hi lajawaab tha. That's why people still like him as he was portrayed in Dhoom.

"Apni bhavnao ko dalo apni.....mein" Ramadhir Singh is truly one of the best and most intelligent villains ever written in Bollywood (kahe ki wo Saneema nhi dekhta). Although, Faizal kills him in the climax, it was him who truly won the war between him and the Khans. He was a menace for the them for almost 3 generations killing almost everyone of Sardar's family, except Nasser ,Mohsina and Faizal's son, and died at an old age which was pretty much the age for him to die anyway.
