Visaranaai was quite disturbing and shocking. Also the way it portrayed custodial torture felt so real and scary unlike other films where when you see custodial torture you barely flinch. Even asuran and later films of vetrimaraan didn't have the rawness of visaranaai

Karthi's Tamil debut film Paruthiveeran still qualifies as one of the top 3 violent Indian movies for me. Coincidently I watched it on recommendation of Vanga while he was giving an interview to Film Companion during the release of Kabir Singh. Do watch it if you haven't one of the best Indian Movies which really gets uncomfortable and dark to watch. I will keep Ajji on 3rd, this one on 2nd and Visaranai on 1st.

Animal is brilliant, After soo many years a main stream film which is this much violent. That slow and steady narration which vanga follows performances, songs, music, everything. And I don't think there is anything wrong with dialogues, considering the story and nature of the film. It's not something placed in village or poor society..it's from rich side of the society...the family drama which will include affairs and love life.

You can check Pithamagan & Nan Kadavul that are all raw action set pieces but the most unnoticed is Rocky (Tamil) which is so well made and it's climax is something you can see in Kaithi, KGF and even Animal 🔥🔥

For correction RGV's first film was Shiva but it Starred Naga Arjun and not Mohit Ahlawat. The film Vi showed is Shiva(2006) and not the Shiva(1990).

Great video man. Thanks for recognising Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana❤. Its one the most underrated Kannada movie. You forgot to mention Abhimanyu Singh's character Bukka Reddy in Rakhtacharitra-part 1, he literally snatched the movie from everyone with his terrific performance. And RGV was not in his peak rather he was at the end of sanity. After Rakhtacharitra he went in madness mode. The Shiva video clip you used in the video is from 2006 starring Mohit Ahlawat where as the movie you described released in 1989 and starred Nagarjuna. GOW deserved to be above Animal.

The video shown in the list for Shiva is the 2006 prequel with same name which penned by critics and audiences and RVG's one the worst movie, not RVG's classic debut 1990 movie ... Proves that you or the editor or both have never watched the movie! Yes, Ajji is brilliant.. too bad the movie did not got the mass appreciation it deserves. The last scene when Ajji cuts of the testicles taking her revenge at the end was gruesome and satisfying at the same time !!! Also "Jai Bhim" could be added in the list.. similar to Visaranai, is difficult to watch at times.

Animal is a good apart from its very weak storyline and the long duration. Just watch PARUTHIVEERAN (2007) written and directed by Ameer Sultan, if u wanna watch violence, with great storyline, brilliant acting and excellent conviction in directing. Also this is Karthi's debut film. Just believe it after watching.
