I totally agree with the top 2 spots. Firebirds and Phoenixes were not S-tier, but BULLSHIT-tier with their incredibly low cost, insanely high speed (which to this day I fail to understand why, of all creatures, it has to be them with the highest speed) and double growth.

I think all of Rampart's units are very cost-efficient except Gold dragons, which are ridiculously overpriced. Crewmen are a great damage soaker that hits decently. Ayssids are propably the most cost-efficient troop imo(75 gold cheaper than Crusaders, while doing +- the same damage, & being way faster). Dragon flies are super cost-efficient also(hella fast, not too weak, average damage, great specials). Harpy hags are not that cheap, but worth every penny. Lightweight division arch devils they are. Wolf raiders can be very cost-efficient aswell. Unless you get em killed super fast. Iron Golems are great for their price aswell. 35hp & their stats is a lot for 200 gold. 5 speed with upgrade makes them usable(3 is just too little). Master gremlins also make my list, because shooter at level 1 is fucking great. Cast a couple spells on them with master genies, & just 100 of them can do over 1000 damage without having any real stats an your hero. Enchanters also make my list. 750 gold is very low, & only 1 of them boosts your army significantly. They will die faster than anything if attacked, but they also do great damage in return.

There is more for top 2. Base travelling speed depends on slowest creature in army. I very often give 1 Phoenix or bird to hero needs to gather all weekly refresh resources. Army if 7x1 phoenixes slots can even be great at exploration as they will not die due to Ph self resurrect. And is very fast.

What are you smoking, dude ? You're confusing good combat units with cost efficiency. Death and dread knights, also the archdevils are terrible at cost efficiency. The archdevil has the lowest HP and the lowest damage of all upgraded level 7 units, yet is the third most expensive. It's just one of the reasons why inferno is shit. The archdevil should really have 250 HP and 50 max damage for that price, or have it's cost reduced.
