The JellyShroom Caves just scare me SO MUCH in survival Subnautica. The crab snakes are so aggressive to my Seamoth, one made it go down to 40 in a couple of hits. The Degasi bases have the Jellyfish thingies and they can kill you if you bump into too many at once. And lastly, oxygen. When you have a rebreather and the best tanks (which I have now), you don't get much time to explore the Degasi base. I was down to 3 oxygen with an ultra-high-capacity oxygen tank (the best one in the game) before I got back into my Seamoth, but I had no rebreather and it was below 200m. I bumped into multiple jellyfish and had to wait. So that's why I think the JellyShroom caves Degasi base is the most dangerous.

Tips for some of these creatures: Reapers are extremely aggressive and loud. Their roar acts as a sonar, if you can hear it, it can see you. A crab squid will only use the emp blast if you shine light on it. Crab snakes hide in Jellyshrooms. Ghost leviathans are not very aggressive and will only bite you once and then go away for a bit and then come back if you haven’t run away yet. While it is difficult to escape a crash fish in a cave, just get away as fast as possible. Their explosion hardly does any damage from farther away. Run away from everything else

Honestly I was in the active lava zone and was head bumping the sea dragon with a sea glide (yes, I was swimming) and he didn’t even hit me once. His attack is super slow, so he was harmless. I then went out with the cyclops, and the prawn and head butted him, nothing. This happened 2 days ago so I’d personally put him at 10th Edit: he did try to shoot fireballs at me, but I dodged them even with a seaglide. A really not scary leviathan imo, comment your experiences with it guys

My top 5 dangerous creatures include - 5) Ghost Leviathan Juvenile(found in the lost river) 4) Warper(a pain in the ass...teleporting you out of your seamoth/prawn suit) 3) Adult Ghost Leviathan(found in the Grand Reef, Blood Kelp zone and if you really don't want to survive look for them in the void as well) 2) Reaper Levaithan(personally feel they are more aggressive than Ghost Leviathans) 1) Sea Dragon(most fearsome and Aggressive fauna...but slow, so if you are fast, you could kinda outrun them)

I have stolen many crabsnake eggs, all you need is a stasis rifle and to swim (have seaglide if available) you shoot a large stasis rifle around the desired mushroom, make sure it has no crabsnake in it. Swim in and take the egg if it's there, no snake can get in because the rifle freezes them. Hoped this helped some people's!!!

for me i would have said reaper leviathan for #1 because its found ALOT more commonly than the sea dragon. the sea dragon is found only in the active/inactive lava zones and the reaper leviathan can be found like right next to your base (spawn) and since you said you have a very small chance of survival when you find him then you basically have to restart your game because you cant adventure out for quartz or anything else so hes probably #1 for me

Spoiler warning. Did that too, though it is not that impressive. Reaper leviathan, either use a seamoth as bait, or stun it with a stasis rifle. Sea dragon, same story. Emperor leviathan? Allows you to do it cause she ain't agressive! Honestly though, to me the hardest one to scan was the adult ghost leviathan, because you will likely have to deal with 3 of them at the same time. Still very doable though honestly. However, due to ghost leviathans and reaper leviathans being slightly glitchy concerning the stasis rifle (the projectile does not always activate upon hitting the body, sometimes just passing through) I suggest you place a fully loaded shot at the ground or another solid object when the creature is getting close. Have fun with your leviathan data!

I also did that.........and Wrongly used a Repulsion cannon Instead of Propulsion cannon and fucked up. I ended up pissing it off so fucking much...that I actually had to leave my sea moth and cyclops(No joke) ......... At that time I was swimming so fast, I think I could bet phelps......... Lol

Getting this in my recommended in 2021 XD Crabsnakes are the best! What do you mean avoid them? I breed them to protect my bases! Now I'm causing all sorts of ecosystem instability with my current game since they fight everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. Normally they'll leave leviathan-class creatures alone. Normally. But they WILL attack the reapers that are near my bases if it makes a beeline at me for some reason. Unfortunately, you can't leave vehicles unsupervised because they'll also rip that to shreds. Also they're brilliant at preventing stalkers from taking your drones.
