This is my 2,167m Void Base, along with the addition of the "Abandoned" section. This was created on a PS5 in survival mode with ZERO mods. Credit for the music goes to Simon Chylinski, the game's phenomenal composer.

@AscrodGreytagg Nothing yet. I almost think there's some invisible issue I'm running into, because it doesn't make sense. I've disassembled a TON of this base, and I was only able to go a short distance farther. Now I have to travel between the sections manually, with no ladders, and yet still nothing. Stellar work bud.

I really wish I could have used the soundtrack that I originally did on Reddit, but I know KZbin is a lot more touchy with that. Appreciate the constructive criticism; I'll take that into account next time.
@travelingtango Жыл бұрын
Personally, I loved the 1 cut as is. Felt like a mini movie almost, especially with the abandoned base and all the altera messages. I do have a question though. Are you getting lag as you build each base piece? I built a pretty massive void base down to 1.2km and starting to go under the map, but the lag for each piece is starting to drive me nuts
@NJShadow Жыл бұрын
@@travelingtango Yeah, there was some definite lag building, but it doesn't seem to get TOO bad on PS5; it's definitely noticeable though. I've actually gotten to the point where saves are broken due to the lack of memory, so when I start, if I build anything, I have to actually make sure I'm also disassembling a bunch of stuff as well. Since the game is basically forcing me to do so, I've started removing large chunks of the upper base in order to go deeper. That super long tube that takes you straight down with the ladder? Gone. It's definitely providing me an excuse to get more creative though.
@travelingtango Жыл бұрын

The key things that impressed me the most about your planning is that you calculated the time it would take your oxygen tank to deplete and made the base at such a distance where you end up having barely any oxygen in the end which makes it look like you barely avoided death and also the timing of when to use statis rifle was quite important and you did it amazingly well! The environment building was amazing too like the seamoth not having the depth upgrades adding to the vibe of 'abandoned base' and the overall engineering of the bases was quite visually appealing as well!
