Mathematics is actually the MOST DIFFICULT SUBJECT in all years. It can't be ranked since it is a COMPULSORY subject.

Honestly I have a City and Guilds Stage 3 Math and as for me personally, that is where mathematics ends for me.

Nice video Anthony! So we may have to look past those statistics provided by CXC... For reasons like 1) Varying number of students doing each subject 2) What demographic of student would attempt which subject 3) Dropout rates differ for different subjects and other reasons. Based on student surveys I carried out Toughest subjects: Add Maths, Physics, Chemistry, EET Easiest Subjects: PE, HSB, Social Studies, English A, POB

I did POA and I can definitely say I would have not done very well if it wasn’t for that SBA! I didn’t expect Social to be here. I did that as an extra subject and aced it. I found it to be so easy. Very interesting! This is a really good video to help students know the problematic areas. Well done!

Well Maths is the hardest, the normal maths. None are hard really once you have studied and put in the work youll pass!!!

I was a science student last year, did 7 subjects and got 3 passes. I got a 3 in math and did over maths and chem this year and also added HSB to the list and got a 3 in all😫. So I got a 3 again in Maths but according to the grading profile i did do a little better than last time. So now I have 5 passes because last year I got a 2 in English and Agricultural science but I want to be a nurse and the school I wanna go to want 5 passes and don't want more than two 3's and in my case I have three 3's so I'll be doing over exam again to try to get a better grade but I'm thinking about doing easier subjects and that's how I ended up on your channel. I had my English B cxc yesterday and all I can say was that paper 2 only had like 3 poems that I knew and 2 which I was never taught. I had to leave out the essay for section B because I didn't know and wasn't taught the poems :\

I am currently doing 4 extra subjects which i will sit next year, POA,POB, S.S & English B. - POA is not hard as long as you continuously Practice !!! - Social Studies is ALLOT & you really have to know ur stuff and know how to reaaon it out. - English B is the Hardest of the 4 I'm currently doing because of how structured your essays have to be to pass, the simplest mistake such as not structuring ur essay properly or straying away from what the question asks can seriously bring you down. Even the paper 1 can be tricky too as it will be on nothing that you've studied - was not Expecting HSB to be on this list as i heard its way easier than Bio 💀 Dang this really changed my views on the subjects, really helped allot and will take these notes .

Biology is such an easy subject, its only difficult to some people due to the amount of notes and diagrams you will have to know.

Good information but these conclusions may be inaccurate, The pass rate for HSB will be the lowest because of the number of students writing the subject. Not many schools offer HSB as a subject. And those schools which do offer it have a small number of students writing it. Lower denominator, hence lower pass rate. So in essence the most difficult subject to pass is not necessarily the most difficult subject. Pass rate just depends on the number of people writing the subject therefore pass rates is a flawed method to measure the most difficult cxc subjects. Maybe we should use a a more in depth approach involving median marks obtained and the standard deviation from the pass mark for each subject or something.

I did CSEC Social Studies last year 2021 and I got a grade three. My profile grades were Knowledge and Comprehension (C) and Application, Evaluation and Problem-solving (D). I did CSEC Human and Social Biology last year in 2021 and got a grade three as well. My profile grades were Knowledge and Comprehension (B) and Use of Knowledge (D).

SO UR TELLING ME I DID HUMAN ABD SOCIAL BIOLOGY WHEN I WAS 13-14 YEARS OLD AND I GOT 2, AND THAT'S IN 2020. SO UR TELLING, ME IT'S THE HARDEST SUBJECT WOW...
