As somebody that’s often struggled with self acceptance, the callback scene in Wreck-it-Ralph gets me every time no matter how many times I watch it. I also know Bolt isn’t the most popular animated Disney movie, but the scene where Penny tells Bolt he’s a good boy while trapped in the burning studio is a real gut punch. You’ll want to tell your pet you love them after that.

Definitely should've been "so long partner" from Woody ending to TS3 in the top spot. That movie had much more gut punches and put the right ending to the trilogy. For fans who grew up with the series, and were going off to college around that time, it was so emotional in more ways than one.

It’s a minor one, but I love the callback in Encanto. When Abuela is having a fight with Mirabel, Abuela says: “The cracks started with you. Bruno left because of you. Luisa is losing her powers. Isabela’s out of control because of you!” It’s a really heartbreaking moment, but when the two are reconciling and we learn Abuela’s backstory, Mirabel says: “We were saved because of you. We were given a miracle, because of you. We are a family, because of you.” I know Encanto has gotten a lot of love as of late and many people think it’s overrated but this moment is such a clever and beautiful callback, it just hits different.

I say my favorite callback would have to be in Endgame, yes, they count, at least in my opinion, where it is near the end of the film and it is after Tony Stark’s emotional funeral where Happy asks Morgan what she wants to eat, she says she wants a cheeseburger which is an emotional callback to the first Iron Man, which is the first MCU film, where Tony Stark wanted a cheeseburger after his breakout in the Mark I suit.

Okay, I have to admit. Even though I haven't seen Big Hero 6, I watched that goodbye scene on KZbin, and it tore me apart. I started breaking down as soon as Hero started PLEADING with Baymax. When his voice broke, I lost it. THAT'S when a scene can make you REALLY emotional. That's also proof that the actor who's voicing the character not only starts getting emotional. When the character starts sounding or getting emotional during a sad scene, a sad conversation, or even a sweet and emotional scene, meaning their voice breaks, they start getting choked up, and/or they start crying, you can tell the actor voicing them is REALLY struggling to keep it together, along with the rest of the cast.

I have a question about Whreck-it ralph. Why were all video game characters at the begin of the movie scared of Ralph, but not of the other villains?

mainly if Ralph was going turbo (abandoning his game after having enough causing games to be unplugged leaving many characters with no home. the villains understand his emotions but want him to refrain from his actions going turbo because the consequences aren't pretty for anyone.

The movie only shows it from Ralph’s perspective as he walks through Game Central Station. He was the last one to walk out of the Pac-Man game, so when he gets caught by the surge protector, the other villains are already walking away. We don’t get to see if anyone reacts to them in the background by the time Ralph is done with the security check. There wasn’t a whole lot of characters that reacted to Ralph anyway. It was the paper boy who fell off his bike and a few small children characters (idk what game they were from) who ran away. Otherwise, everyone else doesn’t seem to notice him as he makes his way through the station back to his game. Probably the same for the other villains.
