This line earned it's emotion over 22 movies of watching Tony Stark obsessively tinker with suits and weapons and AI, suffer from insomnia, and throw his body at anything he thought threatened Earth. It is rare for any entertainment property to earn that kind of pay-off. And I will always feel my throat tighten and eyes grow moist when Pepper Potts says one of the most loving things ever uttered on screen.

It's that delivery that makes me glad they changed it. Originally it was gonna be a vision (like what Thanos had with baby Gamora in Infinity War) of an adult Morgan played by Katherine Langford telling him that. Having it take place in reality and be spoken by Pepper is much better, though, even if it does mean Langford was completely cut from the movie.

Oh come on, quips and hugs in the middle of battle, broken continuity, Cap has a ruined character arc, flawed internal logic (Thors hammer and BW's sacrifice which should have never worked) Thanos turning into a generic villain and abandoning his ideology, and atleast an hour of stuff that was really just done so they could cramm in more shout-outs and spin-offs.

I agree that it felt a little forced, but come the fuck on, we waited a decade for a woman to be in a title of a Marvel film (Ant Man and the Wasp), we waited 11 years for a solo female movie (Captain Marvel), and Natasha, who was the first female avenger, only had her movie released 11 years after her first appearance. This is (almost) 2021. You can't deny that Marvel is seriously lacking feminism. After all of this time, it needed to be a little in your face and on the nose... Also, it's not really for us, it's for all the little girls watching this scene and seeing all the girls unite and support each other. In one of the times I've rewatched Endgame, my little cousin saw that scene with me and she was like "look, it's all the girls together!!" And she doesn't even know Marvel. She was so excited about that scene though, that it made me realize that this scene is not just to show female representation, but to actually empower and show women that men are not a necessity for being strong, badass, or successful. Btw, I bet you that if it were an all men scene, no one would bat an eye, why does everyone get mad and say that it's controversial when it's all women?? Society. Lacks. Feminism.

You make a good argument but I think you're giving them more credit than they deserve, I love Marvel just as much as the next guy but every other time they did something like this it was very shallow and forced, Captain Marvel is an example since it did so bad which should have been hard to do since she's such a beloved character, they literally made her apologies in all her scenes in End Game. I doubt their thought process for that scene was different.

@@timguerra1694 Nah. It was definitely a great moment, but Avengers Assemble was simply better. Ironman snapping was unforgettable, but it wasn't really expected. Which, I guess you could argue that's what made it so good, but the whole Avengers Assemble scene was the one scene we had truly been waiting for over the past 10 years. It had all of the hype and build-up from being years in the making. There just isn't a single scene from the whole MCU that was quite as satisfying as that scene. It had so many feelings going at one time; it was epic, emotional, exciting, joyful, etc.
