X-men 1 in 7.0 aint going for $23k nowadays lol - youd be lucky to get one under $50k. A 5.0 just sold for $30k and 4.0 regularly goes for $20k range

Got my X-men 1 in 7.0 last January for a trade plus cash deal around 18k. Its easily gotta be around 50k now. I also bought my 9.2 Hulk 181 last year for 6,500. I couldn't be happier.

I love the X-Men! I finished my Claremont run right before the prices really popped (thank god!). I would love to upgrade some of my books but I just can’t bring myself to do it at these prices knowing what the prices were just a year ago. I’m very surprised that the current buyers are willing to go for it.

I bought those X-Men books from #95 to #325 when they came out, at a discount. Sold the X-Men #120 CGC 9.8 last year for $3,000. (Sad to see I didn't hang onto it until last month when it hit $4,300.) I did have the first few years of X-Men too but my mom got sick of them piled up in my room so made me throw them out. I had ALL the grails, all got thrown out. I couldn't afford to buy back even one of them now.

These X-Men comics will continue to be sky-high priced as long as Marvel is making movies. Now that Marvel has the X-Men rights back I don't think they will ever stop making movies about mutants. That section of the Marvel Universe is too big.
