I’m off to Ilkeston Town Fc tomorrow. Season ticket holders at Forest for years, my son is doing GCSE ‘s now and the night games and constant changes to fixtures has proved a challenge and wasteful. So we’re taking a couple of years out and enjoying some non league football.

I hate to put my home city,,, York City, in this list,, but check it out. Like Chesterfield,, Darlington and other classic traditional football league clubs, it doesn't seem right they have slipped to this level ,,,, but, (as the likes of Sunderland, Leeds, Man City et al) ,, you are never 'too big' to be relegated if not good enough,, !!! Come on City,,, :-)

Knew F.C would be number one! Pretty incredible that they have their own ground within 10 years of forming especially without sponsorship money or a buyer/backer and raised £2 of the 6.5 million needed to get the ground just from Fan shares.
