Number three. Really bad dreams. I where. The supervisor always made me so bad. Plus I was making a quarter of my salary. She was a horrible boss and she blamed me for many errors. My son, who was frightened of getting a job. I just said to myself make sure you have food here and I never went back to work again. I had letters from psychiatrist stating that I may be eligible for hospitalization.. I moved to Florida, which I’m not crazy about but it’s a big beautiful apartment and very messy. My son ended up getting a fabulous job in Philadelphia.. Mount Sinai paid me every nickel I was owed.! sometimes you have to just get out of a situation that is killing you. I still miss New York City but, my sister and her husband have been wonderful and helping me get my place in order and my son Anthony cleaned up a whole room. My brother Ronnie has excommunicated from me, which was very very cruel. But you know I’m actually so much happier.. my sister and her husband and my own son Anthony have been like angels. I do not think of my brother anymore, which at first really destroyed me but once Patrice, my sister and her husband Jeff and my son Anthony came to visit, I am happy. I’m no longer in touch with my brother Ronnie.

You can’t act like a spaz in a restaurant and not get fucked up. Every line of this show is FUCK FUCK FUCk… I’m telling you, men don’t let you talk to them like that.

I work in the restaurant and hospitality industry and I'm glad a show like this exists, because of the accurate depiction of what it truly is like in the industry, long hours, sleep deprived, underpaid, little to no social life, possibility of unpaid bills, meeting everyone's expectations, and much, MUCH more. There isn't any instances of how "grandeur" the restaurant business and life is like, it raw and its real. This show should be seen as a way to appreciate the people that work in the industries like this and just say "thank you" to them, much like how someone salutes to a soldier walking down the street. I do this kind of work, because I enjoy seeing the smiles on people faces after having a nice meal from probably a crap day at work.

My respect for Sydney inversely mirrored my respect for Richie. She devolves into a toxic, condescending problem who can't take responsibility even when she STABS someone. To me there were a number of moments in The Bear that got me more than what was listed. One of them was the scene prior and after the fork throwing incident, it was Carmy and Mike's mom, Donna, cooking Christmas dinner and was asked if she wanted help and didn't accept it, but it then boiled over into Donna snapping at everyone and then proceeded to go into her car and run it right into the house. There are many layers to this that struck me from someone taking care of Christmas dinner, not showing appreciation, not loving one another on a holiday that's meant to bring people together and ultimately ends with someone just thinking "I've had enough" and does something drastic.

The dreams/nightmares and The Review episode remind me of my time working at a TV news station. We called the dreams “newsmares” and they often involved trying to get stuff done on time or you have multiple stories to work on and had to get it all done in 30 minutes. As for the chaos of The Review, say your newsroom was a skeleton crew and you had multiple breaking news stories, you were running around calling people trying to get info while still trying to do your daily tasks. And if you didn’t get it all done on time you were told “be better” and that it’s the nature of the beast. Going to use the bathroom was considered your lunch break, and you did the jobs of two people for less than 30k a year. You slept through your Saturdays and spent Sundays dreading having to go into work the next day
