Hey everyone. I just wanna mention that I had a very hard time choosing characters for this ranking, so I looked at around 30 tier lists and ranked them off of those.

I remember when I first got my Camo Cactus. I'm level 9 (Cactus) in PVZ GW 1 so I hadn't had any previous experience with it. At first (before using this plant) I thought it was trash because of the zoom and the recharge speed. When I started playing Camo Cactus nobody could stop me with 60 damage per critic shot. Nice nice video but disagree with some characters like zoologist which has the 4th highest dps of the scientist while the chemist has the weaned dps of the entire class. Yeah chemist has spread and better range but the dps is way better so it’s kinda even. Captain sharkbite has better range, accuracy and splash so he’s actually pretty good I have camp Cactus mastered and I think he’s awful as well lol

I feel like one of the reasons torchwood seem to under perform when used is just due to the fact of the communities combined utter hatred for it and so everybody goes full sweat mode to try and kill you. Which is understandable.

Dr Toxic: Disagree. This guy is widely considered one of the worst Scientists, I've seen people on Reddit get upset because people say Archeo is worse than him, but he can still dish out some good damage, and I love using the toxic aura on Energy Warp to troll Chompers. One of the worst of his class but I never see anyone praise him. Zoologist: SORT of agree. I think it's unfair to compare him to the Chemist given they serve different purposes, but I think he's basically a worse Marine Biologist with less damage and no range. I think Chemist's gimmick is a good trade off for being point blank only while Zoologist's only strength to make up for his melee only game is that he's full auto. Partyman: Agree. His lower clip really hurts his shotgun. Druid Rose: HARD agree. She does fire faster, but her projectile speed is slow as hell and she is basically a downgrade of reg Rose, who isn't that good in the first place. She's better than Fire Rose but that's about it. Fire Pea: Disagree. His damage is worse than Reg Pea's, but splash plus fire is a disgusting combo, and he's basically a better Toxic Pea. Torchwood: Agree. Weak primary, large hitbox and he gets bummed. Bandit Cactus: Disagree. I do stand with some of your reasons (the soldier comparisons are pretty awful given her bloom), but she actually shreds if you land shots. Sharkbite: HARD disagree. I never see them in games, and there's no fucking WAY he's the worst Pirate when Squawk and Flameface exist. I get his damage is worse than reg Deadbeard's, but he zooms further and has splash. Vampire Flower: HARD agree. She's good with upgrades and it's useful to attack people from behind, but her damage and accuracy aren't great, and she is not even close to one of the best Sunflowers. Camo Cactus: HARD agree, and this completely makes up for your bad Sharkbite take. She can two shot people... with a damage upgrade, she's pitiful without it and she still has the second lowest DPS. Also having the WORST close range capability and reload in the game, Also a penetration instead of ammo when she only has 5 shots? Really? Gotta say the whole rant about Camo felt cathartic given how that Spquarky Insta guy sent his army of Camo mains in my direction to harass me when I said she was one of the worst characters in the game. Like the guy who wanks off modded controllers is to be taken seriously lol

Idk, probably just me But i find even Squawk better than camo as he has atleast the possibility to kill someone in a close range fight, ik his close range is still trash but atleast he has a chance a FULL ON SNIPER just is useless close range and giving that most zombie classes in this game are mostly in your face (Scientists, Superbrainz, All stars, Some soldiers and imps, Roadie Z, even pirates who are the cactus sniping equivilant have a short range attack) And because of that, you have to resort to staying in the back picking people off which is ALSO bad on console cuz aiming is a lot harder (hence why splash characters like Pea / Scientist are played so much on console) So you pretty much have a sniper which in a close range fight is one of the easiest kills you ever get and long range atleast on console is not that big of a threat

@@LanaIsUnderrated yeah the GW2 meta is pretty unfavourable towards Cacti in general as there's far less sniping points and the three new classes are probably the three biggest counters to Cacti. But at least most other Cacti are somewhat competent at close range, Camo just isn't. Plus she got nerfed from GW1 as I'm pretty sure she gets an ammo upgrade on that game. Also, you can trigger mash with Squawk to do more damage with the Flem Thrower. Doesn't bump him up massively, but people claim Roadie is the best Engineer just because trigger mashing bumps his damage up, so Squawk at least deserves some credit for that

Its the same with spray chompers, even if its a bit better, you still arent gonna magically make them into 20 bomb characters with it, it just sometimes makes you survive certain fights if your lucky

Druid rose is my favorite rose, it’s just that it’s only good at long range assist kills. The toxic radius is personally quite useful.

FINALLY someone else understands my argument against torchwood being in S tier. You die instantly! He’s not great at range, which means you have to go up close and then the enemy teammates will gun you down the second they see you because “you are the most dangerous on their team”

Zoologist can kill quicker than chemist. Archeologist is the worst scientist by a mile. bandit is criminally underrated also she has 24 shots with ammo upgrade hits 12 up close and has the same bloom as foot soldier . She can be used long range by tap firing rather than holding the fire button. Toxic rose is well rated not overrated.

The reason people didn't realized the health regenerating with Super Brainz is because, when landing punches on your enemies, you regenerate 1.5 health every 0.3 seconds, that lasts for 2 seconds resulting in a health gain of about 12, this is kinda similar to Vampire Flower's Life Leach primary, the upgrades that can help Super Brainz with this special thing, is either "Low Life" "Vampiric" "Recuperate" or "Fearless" which can help him with his special thing

Ok whoo, so bandit, played her for around 30 minutes for the recording and off screen gameplay, she has good spray sure, mechanic has 35 shots and imo more accurate and faster rate of fire, plus jackhammer for mobility and sonic grenade for stun and slowing. (fuck bolt blaster) Camo is (from what i've seen) been mostly C or D yes, however she doesn't even deserve those spots. F or nothing. F tier garbage character

​@@noahstarves i like arguing over dead vegetable games if you couldn't tell i didn't say the spray was good, the spray is a bad thing. bandit is a sniper, after all. it was more of a "why isn't mechanic with bandit then," and she's in some of the low tiers in most lists. abilities are possibly the only downside other than the spray camo i understand but i don't really agree, she's kinda cracked if you can aim well but the reload is horrible

I agree with most of these but I really really disagree with camo cactus, zoologist and druid rose. And that come from someone who don't play camo if you actually know how to play her then you will have an amazing time since she is like the ultimate sniper character so to say she suck upclose for being the ultimate sniper character is a bit eh. Druid rose is no way in hell the worst rose that is probably the fire rose rank as you hit almost like reg rose except you get the toxic damage with random hit shot. And zoologist IMO is not a downgrade chemist but a character of his own since he work more like a marine biologist or reg scientist but without range but have the power of fully automatic so in theory you could kill anything the fastest and easiest as him as you can just hold down trigger upclose.

Okay, here's the thing: many of the characters on this list are not good whatsoever in team vanquish/gnome bomb/surburbination, but absolutely destroy in gardens and graveyards. Fire Pea for 1v1 is terrible, I agree, but with more compacted zombies (for example: turf takeover) he is very good to just give a bunch of zombies Fire damage. Just his shots alone against fewer zombies is weaker. Druid rose- there is a much, much faster rate of Fire, which makes up for the damage loss. The toxicity is near to nothing, but it adds on a bit. Torchwood-his primary and super heated mode is eh, but his Blazing blast and leaf shield is absolutely broken to no end. These two abilities are incredibly op, and Blazing blast is basically the instant win button if you're in close range of a zombie. Vampire flower- again, terrible in team-vanquish type game modes, since she isn't good against zombies that are only targeting her, but when in turf, she isn't as much of a target, and so she can camp with her teammates while healing them and herself all the while dealing damage. Her loss of health is only to make sure she's not too op.

If Zoologist is here, then Chemist should be here too(at the fcking 1st place) Since when was Fire Pea overrated? Captain Partyman and Captain Sharkbite are meh, but not overrated Bandit Cactus is underrated, her weapon doesn't suffer from damage drop-off and she can use Tall-nuts and Potato Nugget Mine to play aggressively Torchwood is a literal powerhouse for his high health and a decent primary weapon; additionally, his three abilities are insane; his big hitbox is designed for his role as a tank => not that good but at least in the upper bracket of characters Alien Flower, Goalie Star, Hot Rod Chomper and Iron Citron should be here too Druid Rose is of course overrated, but I think she's not that bad. The reason of people overrating her is probably the fact that she used to be ZackScottGames' favorite Rose character

Idk camo cactus can kill 125 hp characters in a second, the only Cactus that can top that is future, also you want to zoom in shoot, zoom out really fast up close. Also reg and camo have nearly the same amount damage per clip. I personally find camo operated and underated at the same time. 3.5 seconds isn't that long, the crits only goes against her when fighting a mech.

Vampflower is basically Black Box unlock for Soldier in TF2. Many ppl rage about these two due to health regen but ignore that they both lack crucial stats(black boz has one less rocket aka less dmg) and vamp lacks hp

Ok, I have so many things to say about this list that I don’t agree with, but the main one is that you put zoologist on this; zoologist is literally the better version of chemist. Chemist has the worst dps in the scientist class and zoologist is better than chemist in every way possible, zoologist has a dps of 77.5 while chemist has a mere 55.4. Zoologist has almost double the rate of fire. ZOOLOGIST is underrated while CHEMIST is overrated.

Here's the thing: DPS isn't everything. and plus Marine Biologist is better than Zoologist in every way. Chemist has much greater spread which doesn't sound like much but you can take out groups and plus it's almost impossible for the enemy to escape if you get close enough to them.

Completely agree on camo cactus. I remember when I first got her I was excited because I thought she would be such a great sniper, because other people had hyped her so much, and used her very well. Instead, she shoots so slowly, and her enhanced zoom is such garbage that for me, she is really the worst cactus in the game. Of course, it's really all about play style isn't it? I've seen people who've done very well with her, I've seen multiple videos with people saying she is their personal favorite to use in the whole game. (Which was why I was so excited when I got her). I absolutely cannot use her to save my life.

While I agree that Camo cactus is dogshit in team vanquish and is not very good in general she actually does have use in turf. A youtuber I know once got 94 kills in turf by sitting in the back with her so even though she not good if you know how to use her she can destroy a lobby however that won’t happen in any other mode that’s not turf so she still is not good. Regarding vampire flower you might not know that she took a big damage nerf in 2018 which means she now does only like 6 or 7 damage per shot from mid or long range which to me is just a croc of crap, compare this to the power flower which does more damage regardless of if you have the damage upgrade or not (although it really helps her if she does have it) but can also handle groups well thanks to the one of the best electric effects in the game (you can probably tell I like power a lot lol). She is easily in the bottom bracket of sunflowers along with maybe metal petal cos she is slow and perhaps fire flower due to her lack of a damage upgrade which makes it hard for her to defend herself as her base damage is quite weak and fire upgrade barely helps with this. Overall this is very good list. If I made one though I would put yeti chomper on it probably cos boy do I HATE him. :)

Bandit overrated? I litteraly never see anyone play her. She's one of the cacti that I barely ever see in an online match. Also Vampire Flower is by far one of the characters in garden ops so I wouldn't say she's overrated in that but this is probably based on multiplayer.

Have I been living under a rock? Cus like, I have never heard anyone say that Dr toxic is overrated. If anything I thought that everyone thinks that he is bellow average. Speaking of overrated, I would personally put marine biologist there. He looses quite a lot of damage for like what, quick unload and that's pretty much it. The damage distence drop-off is pretty bad too. Even a regular scientist has not as bad damage distence drop-off. I kind of understand why people think he's good and tbh, he isn't really bad, but I wouldn't go above and beyond to say that he's the best scientist.

Okay, feel free to verbally harass me here, but HERE WE GO! I agree with everything except for Camo Cactus, as I adored using her in GW1, with heavy camo customizations. HIDE AND SEEK CHAMPION BABEEEEEEE! Anyways, she's literally the sniper subclass in the marksman class. She's not meant to be a close range killer. That's what mines and nearby allies are for. Just sit on the farthest range you can find, like how she's meant to be played, and pick off lower health enemies. Also, if the enemy is an Imp, 75% of that little shit is just head, so FREE KILL! Even still, I prefer future cactus, buuuuuuut I will always defend my prickly sniper bae.

I have two that I disagree with and one that is true that I have a good idea on how ur supposed to use starting off I do not think that the Fire pea is overrated I think this because when I use them it's a solid character the fire effect is really good for bunny hoppers and scientists and next character that I don't think is overrated is Torchwood because ur entire argument is that they get targeted but the thing is wth are you expecting if you see an over powered character like Toxic brains are you seriously not gonna target them and the one that is overrated is camo cactus they are garbage but the reason why they suck is because ur not playing them right ur supposed to go to the very back of the map and snipe people and yea that's it.

Dude you’ve got it the wrong way around. Chemist is ATROCIOUS. Worst dps of his class, long reload, and only point blank. Sure, Zoologist has the same weaknesses, but he actually has good damage. He shreds up close, while chemist takes ages to kill anyone if they even see you. Shark bite is a worse deadbeard but not worse than flame face or squawk. He does less damage but he still does good damage in comparison to the other two.

Ok for camo I understand what you're saying and I do agree she's overrated, however I do like playing her because I do like the bolt action sniper thing she has, but I do wish to at least give her a damage buff for at least body or give a upgrade that you can equip that lowers your zoom

Dont know why but alaways when i see these underrated or oversted character videos it kinda pisses me of i mean i dont really play any of the characters here but i atleast always played characters that where favirote to me not whos better and i dont see the point i playing as a better character in pvz games no hard feelings not atacking you or your video it just makes me kinda eHh hood video anyways

I love camo for one reason that slow fire rate is fine because I just sit back and never get killed so he is Perfect for me andy play style but I agree with the rest except vamp I lover her consept
