Dont worry, Mewtwo is officially the strongest pokemon and Mew is the 2nd strongest . Arceus was never called "God" in the movie nor in Games and Pokedex . If you check his Pokedex description then he is called as "One of the species ". While Mewtwo and Mew even in the latest movies Detective Pikachu, Pokedex , Swords and shield episodes are called the Strongest . These dumbs doesnt even know that Mewtwo being man made has given its own typing I.e Psychic and in Mega form X it is Psychic +Fighting. Arceus never even created Mewtwo neither he created mew , how will he switch to right plates like Dark/Bug/Ghost against mewtwo in battlefield?? Arceus multi type ability and his attacks wont work against mewtwo and mew , coz mew can even transform into arceus and become invisible and mewtwo's typing is unknown to arceus , so he cant even switch to right plates . Also mewtwo is not a fool who will show his moves easily like hell to enemies. If arceus comes to know mewtwo is psychic he can just mega evolve and take precautions next time and perform new moves which humans gave to him.

God is the one who is immortal, God is one who can do anything and anywhere. Arceus needs plates to call himself immortal, without plates he can die . Anyone with such plates can be called immortal so Its not like Arceus is a God. Arceus can do anything, but as I said , he needs plates to do anything. You see arceus visited damos everytime when damos was given 4-6 plates by arceus , he cant revitalize or do much of the things without these plates. In this case the plates are like Infinity Stones , all you need is to remove these plates from arceus and you will see he is a normal type pokemon , HE IS JUST A NORMAL POKEMON without Plates . That's why in games catching arceus is lot easier than His own creation trio . Even encountering and capturing Darkrai is difficult compared to arceus. Think Smartly, not from fan perspective. I am fan of Necrozma, but Pokemon Company did Gave arceus it's own role as a Creator but few fans are just overating it. Not necessary Arceus can Destroy and Protect things as always . If he was really a protector ,he would have appeared in every movie if he was really destructor then Jewels of Life would have been the ending of Pokemon world.

According to game arceus that is shown in anime or in game isn't his true form . While creating universe it is said that arceus used it's 1000 arms to create universe . And even in his this form he can neglect or nullify any type of attack even if it's physical .He only used attacks like hyperbeam, draco meteor against dialga, palkia, and giratina.
