The warlock tier set from the Nighthold is outrageously cool, I had to farm it as soon as I heard about it. Several other sets from Nighthold are great, too, I just can’t remember which.

I don't mean to be THAT person, but we have really solid plague doctor set from the cloth set from Castle Nathria. Sire Denatrius knows a thing or two about fashion because basically all the sets are awesome, even the mail one. (I play a hunter and have seen much disappointment. Hellfire citadel literally looked like leveling gear ^^)

Back when Vanilla was retail, I paid for my first level 40 mount selling Black Mageweave sets for the [reasons] and also the tuxedo sets because gentleman. Price was never high because of how accessible they were, but someone would always buy one when tempted in Trade chat.

I played 39s for many years, and rocked Papal Fez on my shaman just because I thought it looked cool, and Miner’s Hat on my main rogue twink because I liked to play with style, pairing it up with the Robes of the Lich to make my human female look unique on the battlefield, and I figured I could make up the lack of BiS stats with skill haha. I don’t think I’ll ever get over Blizz killing the twinking community, with the level squish being the nail in the coffin. 10v10 WSG premades were my favorite aspect of Vanilla to around Cata, IMO. I’ll never forget the first time I entered the Gulch as a noob and got one-shotted by a troll shaman rocking the Pendulum of Doom. Nor will I ever forget the endless, amazing moments of AGM farming (for alts and guildies) and Tidal Charm camping. Idk, the game was just so…perfect. Truly a lightning in a bottle moment in time.

Not sure if i agree with most of these, especially the mageweave, maybe way back when but nowday's no. This would be my list for current looks from a mage perspective. Sin'dorei Magister's Regalia / Trading post version of it should be on here, or at least the helm that gives you the orbs. Nighthold warlock mythic shoulder's and belt Mage's runebound glove varients Court Harvest set, boots and unique tunic with collar. Endowed set, epecially the legs. Wizard hats on smaller races - Vanilla, Mage chrono Warlock's ICC masks Time lord sets from dragonsoul Mage mythic Arcano shoulders and helm Underlight hoods / belts / Shoulder's.

The T6 shoulders for Warlocks should've been on this list. Or the S3 BC PvP shoulders. Gives your character wings when you jump. It was my favorite xmog forever. I wore it for like 4 expansions lol.

There's a couple of fantastic looking grey items drops that exist no where else... had one particular one I really like, but I ended up vendoring it [it's BoP] long before Greys and White gear were added to transmogs. I'll see if I can find it off my old comments in WoWhead.

I don't know why but i was surprised that tidesage was on video as i got it back in BFA randomly and didn't give much thought to its rarity. Used it for a while and changed to other transmogs again before changing to class that cant even use cloth transmogs

FANKRISS (Ahn’qiraj I think) drops Robes of the Guardian Saint (teal colour). I farmed for months for that dress for my Priest. Lightning infused mantle matches. A really lovely set I’m often asked about when swanning around the AH and bank 😜

I spent ~10 years hunting the Tailoring pattern for the [High Society Top Hat] to no avail. AFAIK, the hat itself is only obtainable (rarely) via Blingtron 4000 packages

I'll be so happy when they finally get us better cloth options besides robes and simple pants that you can't even see. I want something more creative like what they do with some leather pants having extra baggy pockets. Why not have bottoms that have side slits or chains/ropes hanging from the sides? Even mail armor looks so badass compared to the old days but cloth armor is still stuck in 2004 unless it's the shoulders.

There's that priest set that looks like an Angel, There's a white gold light version and a Dark version, hood has a star halo effect, there's even an angel stave that matches, what's sad is I have it, and I can't think of the name for it ... Avatar Raiment with that stave...stave of immaculate recovery, I think. For warlock my fav set and have, and I do know or remember the name of, Voidheart Raiment. Best Warlock set imo, sexy as hell on a female human. So funny story, I have sets that to stuff that didn't have Transmog and I hung on to them, while my friends were nagging at me to trash that old garbage, I said no, it's fun to remember how cool my character looked, then I'd go to my bank and swap back or when it was in bags.... anyway hung on to it till Transmog and lol who is laughing now!!! Course even though we no have like an endless closet memory, I can't bring myself to trash Avatar Raiment or Voidheart Raiment and keep them in my void bank lol, just out of fear and principle ❤ Thanks for reading.

The Tier 3 mage set from Naxx is pretty cool, too, probably the best tier set for mages in the game. The Tier 7 stuff is based on it, but neither looks the same or as good as the original.

Ah the Papel Fez. i was playing with friends at the time, good for nothing friends who seemingly wouldn't do anything for me EXCEPT would play alongside me and help me que for dungeons. i was STRUGGLING with bag space, i had three eight slot bags and a six slot bag. Anything i didn't sell to vendor while in intermission had to have a reason to be in my bag to justify a slot of my bag(s). This would had been the second time the fez dropped for me on that day, i had run the dungeon earlier trying to get my character more exp as they already had max level and raiding characters where this was my highest level character at the time. The one friend offered to buy the fez off me for 30k gold, i jumped at the crazy idea and would happy to be richer and free a bag slot. My OTHER friend said "No don't do that, it's worth more than that and you know it i won't let you take advantage of my friend." While i was appreciative of the gesture, i informed them that it's ok if that doesn't happen i'm just going to vendor it. Guess what? just like the first time i got it, i vendored it for a couple silver. Would i had kept it on me if my friends had "hooked me up with better bags?" Yes. Would the idea of helping me have better bags ever cross their mind? Never! Copper to them "must be spent wisely." Copper to me meant nothing. Did you know you can get 14 slot bags from the innkeeper of the respective starting town outlands town? And they're BoE? So even if you can't or don't make bags and your well set on gold you can get your friends 14 slot bags AND they cost less depending on your reputation with that faction!! i wish he would had bought that trash off me for the 30k gold, i don't know if i would have had any gold issues for that server and would had changed how i played World of Warcraft. Probably would had used the gold to buy higher slot bags before anything else.

10. Guldan shoulders not rare drop just run it 1-2 times and bam 9. Sought after? Then proceeds to state these are BOE... 8. Similar to #10, but for archimonde 7. This one is fair, but its more sought after for selling, not buying/tmog imo 6. The easiest tmog to get its crafted by tailoring is insanely cheap 5. Be a warlock, or farm on cloties same as #10 and #8, not really rare 4. Idk why anyone would want this, BUT I had a friend farm it forever so I guess 3. Maybe sought after idk, as a clothie main I would hate this 2. duskhaven set also BOE 1. Glacial set also on the AH and BOE (Fairly cheap too)
