hey ancient hunter, ancient hunter here. If you happen to be an Orc, the Legionnaire PvP set (glowing green) from 2004/5 still slaps. That with Rhok’dolar bow.. and Legionnaire title if you earned it back then- 🔥 fire. It wasn’t a transmog before, just my gear, but now it’s transmog 😊. People on WRa (RP) always stop to admire!

Oh man, I remember the Dark Shaman set. I was running with a guild doing progression through SoO while it was current, and I was the only Elemental Shaman in the raid, so we always joked about the set whenever we fought the Dark Shamans. Eventually, I did end up getting it and I ran with that transmog for the rest of the expansion cause it was so nice.

It took so long for me to get the Kor'Kron set for my Orc Shaman. Man does that set look great on an Orc. But always preferred for my Troll Hunter the Amani set that dropped as BOE on Isle of Thunder.

I would've added, somewhere inbetween, the LFR Ensemble of the Chosen of the Dead. You know, the Green Undead Dragon With the asymmetric Shoulder. Really Rare Drop Rate, looking really cool ( finally a good GREEN Armor ) and I've been rocking it with my Enhancer Shaman and the green Doomhammer Variants.

Chosen Dead mail variants are a must have for any draenei because they're one of the few that have real 3d model in feet slot

The cyclone regalia has always been my fav. I still use it on my main to this day, but swap out the head piece for the Lightning Crown, and the belt for Glowing Fel Skull Belt. (Troll Main btw).

I think the best shaman transmog is one of the magma sets from BC or firellands. That together with the wrath of the stonemother mace as enhancer and you a totally on fire :)

The best mail armor that I found was the Masterwork set, a green vanilla drop. It is bronze/gold color and there are two other sets that are red and steel color scheme. Female armor being the best look.

7:26 I actually have this but for plate, when WoW did its 10 year anniversary an re-released the raid, I did it on my blood DK and tanked the whole raid and in the end got the Crown of Destruction, but for plate, and still have the item in my bank to this day lol 😂 I’m curious just how rare that item is now lol 😆

Been farming the Dark Shaman set off and on since MoP. I was slightly bummed to learn that the ones that we get in Remix were recolors. While nice to have more colors, it sucks that I still need to farm it.

To be honest Scarlet Tabard is way easier to get from the OG Armory, as the mobs that run in after you kill the boss can too drop it. Path of ascension is a face roll nowadays, and I feel like the DMG is scaling up too (at least when I was doing it, it looked way higher than in SL)

I wish we had some better mail armor transmog option too.... we are often overlooked or the armor sets poorly designed. One great benefit to being a mail armor wearing class tho is that very few classes wear mail.... just Shaman and Hunter (until Evoker just recently). So you dont have much competition rolling against other players on mail gear. Its even better if u play Shaman as Elem or Resto because all the INT/SP gear will just go to them since Hunters don't use INT. I'm sure this will change a bit with Evoker now, but still not a bad perk to have. I want some cooler Shaman transmogs myself.... the newest Shaman Tier set revealed in beta footage from War Within looks underwhelming and not quite as great as the other classes got..... infact, the Druid Tier with its wolf themed helm and fist claws seems perfect for Shaman so I dunno why they gave it to Druids.

For my hunter I use shammy Firelands HC set with Crown of Destruction and a red “crystal” looking bow. For my shammy I use the Ornate set (green pieces from classic from high end zones) with an Outlands badge vendor helm. Sad to see no honorable mention for hunter T2

I don't think Hiru plays mail characters.... Energized Chestplate - bop from Dire Maul Firemane Leggings - world boe super expensive in the AH Captain and Mail Combat sets - green boe sets from vanilla, some of its pieces fetch very good prices in the ah tho they are less expensive then the firemane leggings Battleforge and Glimmering sets, specialy the leggings - green boes, you mentioned the battleforged one Spitfire and Sandstalker chestpieces, both crafted, hard to earn plans from Silithus rep - Super Expensive in the AH Ebonhold / Savage Gladiator mail sets - 1st is the boe version, 2nd drops only in BRD from the Ring of Law event/boss Grunt, Outrunner, Bloodsplattered mail sets - green vanilla boes. Then sure Scarlet Mail. DragonRider, and Icy Scale... the other things you mentioned tho cmon Hiru.. that list is so bad and low effort... you are better then this man.

With the Scarlet Tabard, do you have to wear the item specifically or does transmogging it count for talking to the NPC? I have it on a plate character, but not on any mail classes. EDIT: I can unfortunately confirm that it does, in fact, NOT work if it's just being used as transmog. You need the actual item equipped on your character in order to purchase this, meaning you need to do this on both a mail character and a plate character separately.

So, a little help to those who are doing the Island Expeditions. Kill the rares, and try to avoid getting random pieces of azerite so that you can maximize rare kills. Each rare killed adds a random chance something from that species loot table can drop as a reward. Otherwise, if you were to just speed run gathering azerite, you only have a VERY small chance of getting any additional items besides dubloons (which you can actually get even more by killing certain rares as well!)

I've had the Kor'Kron set since Mist, Where all 3 shamans in our raidteam got it fairly quick, and I got it on my shaman, doing one of our alt nights, since I didn't main, or even main alt, my shaman. Other than that I have like half of the tmogs you mention, and I've never really farmed any of them, I have just been playing wow, for a long time.

i remember staying up Late one Night in MoP on my Shaman and i decided to check the BMAH even though i didn't have much gold at the time then i saw the set going for like 10k was like meh i'll put a bid and when i log on tomorrow i'll just get the gold in my mail since on my server at the time most items on the BMAH dont stay cheap someone always bids a mil or two or sometimes gold caps it then i log on the next day says an auction was won and that's how i got the set so no SoO grind. :D

Mail are a laughing stock? IMO Shaman sets are regularly the highest quality sets along with Priests. Leather armors are usually clown costumes and I can't remember the last time Warrior had a nice looking set.

Leather Armor is always really good. Rogue is 99% of the time really well designed. Druid is hit or miss. DH and Monk are rarely good, but if they have a good Set, it's insane good. Like TWW S1 Monk Set. Unbelievably good looking. Warrior had in Season 2 of DF a really good looking Set.
