Half the point of a featured level is the looks. Sure, good gameplay is likely a bigger priority, but over half the editor is dedicated to objects to make your levels look good, so you're EXPECTED to decorate.

@@thetriplee6181 Point is, most levels in GD today are just flashy nonsense that require you to use LDM if you don't have a phone/PC with good performance in levels like these, and they mostly invest on deco rather than actual gameplay, and sometimes it's so annoying, like spike-shaped deco.

Just because a level has laggy decoration doesn't mean it looks bad, those are two completely different things. Sure, bad gameplay is bad, but you know what else will help? A different level. Not every level is made to cater to anyone's sentiments of a good level, so don't expect anything different for yourself.

Some of the levels were actually pretty cool. Like the second to last level you showed, that was pretty good, yes it has some terrible parts and most of the design was from 1.8. Although, it did have a few benefits to getting featured: Cool BG effects, Sync is very good, and good gameplay. I think in MY opinion that the second to last level was really good. c:

The gameplay is decent, however confusing in my opinion in some parts. I think the main problem with the level is the complete lack of decoration in some parts, as well as messiness. From 80% (11:15) in the level and beyond, it is just completely empty and it seems like the creator just wanted to finish the level quickly. Throughout the level it pursues an ugly color combination of neon green, turquoise, and blue. The block design was clearly the main focus, thus the air deco throughout is just completely empty. Whenever there is some sort of air deco or background, it is usually messy or poorly executed. The beginning is probably the best part of the level, considering throughout design gets more and more bland. But when there is a good part, like the beginning, there is still something missing. I believe the level kind of expected too much of itself and it thus caves in until there is nothing good remaining of it.

my opinion: (10/10 means it is not that bad at all and 0/10 means you just put a few spikes and blocks and called it a masterpiece) 0:15 okay 6/10 you tried 1:38 *holds in vomit* I've seen better levels that aren't even rated. 3/10 terrible 2:53 this one is a remake of a robtop level that doesn't even use the right song. why did they bother to make the level and not even choose a song? i mean, they knew what song they needed to use! (I have mixed feelings so i dont know what to put here) 4:36 not too bad decoration-wise, but at the beginning UFO you could just not press the orbs and just ruin the way the level works. no real gameplay. 5/10 5:48 not very good background or gameplay but it clearly took time and effort. 8/10 7:01 not a very good background. block design is bland. pretty empty. 3/10 8:06 not bad but too many smiley faces at the beginning. gameplay fine though. 8/10 9:30 I think some parts just look like a 1.7 level but maybe that's just me. bad colors. 10:27 shouldn't be on the list. 10/10 11:37 bad deco on first ship, and not that good in general. but some parts are ok. no sync. 4/10

The levels get boring when you play them in their entirety. Also, the whole video just feels like clickbait because some of the levels are actually fine, making it feel like you just randomly picked levels that seemed remotely generic. It seems like his only complaint for most is "The color doesn't match." Or "The color here takes away from the level." In all honesty, it does seem like he is complaining for the sake of complaining, I would play these levels, they aren't that bad compared to a lot I've seen, so if this is the list of 'MOST TERRIBLE' featured levels, then I say good job to the creators of them! And here's a bit of positive criticism, try a bit harder to find actual bad levels next time you wanna complain about levels, don't complain about the color, just cuz you don't like how the colors look together.

It's a very peaceful level. 2) I agree, it's ew. 3) I like the visuals... but if it's copied then I don't anymore 4) For some reason, I really like this! :3 I want to play it. I'm very bad at geometry dash and so even levels like this are hard for me. But I like it a lot. However, the colours are a little ugly. 5) I like the music and generally everything else. For me, it just seemed to fit together 6) The music is painful, and it's ugly. So... yeah, agree 7) Lovely music. Doesn't mean it should have been featured, it's just not up to standard. It's like if you heard someone shouting into a microphone, and said it was music. You'd think that'd be pretty bad, right? But they said they made it in 5 minutes. Does that make it good? No, and the same logic applies to building a level. Just because it was made fast doesn't mean it deserves praise of any sort. The only thing i ask for in a level is that it has good ass original gameplay, it isn't filled with decorations to they point where it looks like a Christmas tree and then i cant see anything, a song that sounds at least decent, and some nice sync on the side.

Okay so there is a few problems I want to raise with this video. Firstly I don’t think it’s right to hate these levels for being featured. For all you know the creator could’ve worked really hard for a long time and is really happy with the fact their level is featured. Following on from that point, it is extremely demotivating for creators to see their levels in videos like these. The 2nd point I wanted to raise was how you defended your video but telling people not to leave hate and be constructive, which is fair, however that is the only thing you’ve done throughout the entire video which really makes you just like ‘the petty 5 year olds’ Thirdly the amount of ads is slightly ridiculous Ultimately, try to be constructive and stay away from videos which can be toxic and demotivating just for the sake of profit.
