I agree. Its close to being perfect in my eyes. The only thing bringing it down to a 9/10 instead of an 10/10 are the graphics/animations (i mean the overworld characters. The vivosaur animations are top tier) and the lack of internet connection for me. I really wish i got the DLC before. I could care less about the graphics and animations, but i know some people want perfect graphics in their games.

Oh Hey, I noticed GameXplain has shown a video about the Nintendo Switch getting an update, which includes a "screen sensitivity" 'stylus' setting for the system. This might just make a "Fossil Fighters" Game even More likely, especially with its cleaning mechanics! :D

@@chexgeam6598 personally, the game would be perfect for the switch. I do hope we may get a remake of the first one. Maybe with much better graphics, and completely overhauled combat gameplay. Maybe a bit more simple version of pokkén tournament. You would have 4 basic attacks, a block to reduce damage, the ability to instantly swap vivosaurs on the fly, use devastating team skills, that are unique to each vivosaur, even when paired with compatible allies

The game itself wasn't even bad. The paleo pals for frontier was unique, and new. I know, controlling all 3 dinosaurs, and choosing when and when not to attack is fun, but just think about it. It would have a worse review because it was repeated. So, basically you guys are complaining about the new stuff even though they don't want to do the same thing from fossil fighters and fossil fighters champions.

Honestly I think Dino Buggy are good idea BUT IMPLEMENTED AS H.M. on Pokemon... You find your motor and you upgrade the Buggy to reach new areas... You can find fossils on your own but you can store more Fossils on your Buggy, Races aren't a part of the main game they are a side mini game just like yo Kai Watch... It's easier escape on your Buggy but the Buggy can't reach all places, they can even implement the different types of buggys with the online you can get all types of Dinobuggys however you can connect online with a friend to ride on their buggy instead if you have more friends it's easier

I don’t think frontiers art style was that bad. The problem was that they redesigned all the past Vivosaurs, and their original designs were just way better. Like I'm fine with the designs of original frontiers vivosaurs, like Lythro is pretty awesome. But the DS Tarbo is so much better than the frontiers one. If the frontiers art-style would keep the priginal designs, I think it'd be pretty cool. Like T-rex Sue is basically the DS T-rex and she looks fine.

I like the "All Vivosaur Comeback" (gave me hype chills) Dropping fossils were only good in champions because you got miraculous fossil rocks infinitely Yes to super evolvers They should have each of the champions (from the old games) meet the new one (one from the new game) boasting with the most powerful vivosaurs from their time and face a baddie that can stand up to them as equals to their teams Legendaries should only be earned in the new game after defeating the legendary itself (of course they'd be a lot stronger if legendaries are in their own league) Keep the rouge vivosaurs and challenge routes Dlc should be even more of the old characters to battle and gain a unique version of their signature vivosaurs Things like Duna should be just like legendaries (defeat them to earn them) Complete control is nice I now realize that meeting the old champs would probably require time travel, but with this series that will probably happen without them

Still holding out hope for a FF4 but if there was something I would want, it would probably be a good post/end game. Don’t get me wrong, I think an under appreciated strength of these games (especially the first) is that it can be completed (100% not just beat the story) relatively quickly compared to other rpgs. Collecting all the original vivosaurs or even getting them all to rank 12 was satisfying and not too sloggish. Champions expanded this with more levels, more vivosaurs and the super/miraculous fossils helped diversify vivosaurs even amongst even the same species but still I would be interested to see if there were more to do with your vivosaurs than just fighting the same AIs. P.S. Todd would appreciate not being swept for XP in champions over and over when I was 11 lol

agree with fossil fighters to come back on the Switch. do a combination of bad timing and with how they handled Frontiers, few people played the series, so i want it to come back. some things i want that should return is a tournament arc, both for the story mode and for post game content. another thing i want to see return is the idea of traveling back in time, it could be used to get the original dinosaurs that have a good balance of not having the 4 main elements and any new elements in exchange for stronger base stats. a new idea for fossil fighters is a way to repair the fossil one time for every fossil you are cleaning, a good way to help less experinece players get use to the controls and the cleaning process and a way to help level up your vivosaurs in the game, especially in the late game content. another new idea is more elements such as light and darkness

Adding on to the Yoshi idea, maybe instead of one neutral yoshi, there could be four yoshis for each type. Red for fire, yellow for earth, green for air, and blue for water. This could fail due to Yoshi not having any earth or water attacks, but maybe something like that might work as well. You could compare the yoshis to the chickens from the first two games basically.

Ok, coming back to the idea, the Earth yoshi could use earthquake attacks, being an homage to the yellow shell attack from Super Mario World. For the water type, he could use that eat ability you talked about, but instead of just stopping the target vivosaur, it could give Yoshi some sort of ammo. Yoshi could then use eat again to throw the "ammo" at another vivosaur, but that would then eliminate the effects on both Yoshi and the target.

Hey friends and fellow Fossil Fighters, I've been meaning to make some corrections to the following mistakes I made in this video; In particular, at the part when I mentioned voice actors: I didn't realize until some time ago that the late David Ogden Stiers was NOT the person who voice Belle's Father Maurice in the Disney film "Beauty and the Beast". In my defense, I wasn't lying, as [seeing that Lying is technically saying something that somebody knows is not true] I merely made the assumption that he was, though I've realized since then that such wasn't the case. However, I was correct about his role as Governor Ratcliffe. Oh, and that Stiers' surname is pronounced "Sty-ers"! My bad, friends, my bad...

the magic of fossil fighters is that all of them were existing creatures altered by revival technology. with the exception of story criticle ones such as frigi and igno as well as the dinurians, zongazonga as well I guess. but just adding things in for the hell of it ruins the recovering paleontology effect. (salada doesn't count as it was in the manga and part of the story as well)

I will acknowledge that Zongazonga can raise the dead (including Zombiesaurs), but I think you might’ve missed the cutscene in “Champions” where, after he was defeated, he shrunk from being a giant Zombiesaur to the skull he was, and was shattered to pieces shortly after. Not to mention that his castle fell apart when that happened. Usually, something like that means someone actually dies for good when that happens. I grant you, there are some exceptions to that sort of thing (i.e. Ganondorf from “Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time”), but I’m pretty sure Zongazonga is totally dead, considering no one has heard from Zongazonga himself since, not even a whisper or declaration of “I shall return!” or that sort of thing, and this is also counting the post-game stuff, namely, Prof. Scatterly’s inquiry (and replaying) of the 2 Zongazonga battles, as well as his castle’s “re-creation”. Besides that, Zongazonga, even as a sorcerer, has always required a newer, younger person’s body to take over to keep himself alive for as long as he did. In short, for these above reasons, I seriously doubt that Zongazonga is still alive in some way at this point; I don’t think that even all his magic and power could keep him alive forever, especially after his inevitable defeat. But, for the sake of peace, and to avoid needlessly heated debates, I hope we can at least agree to disagree.

I'm thinking their would be a new bad guy or girl and they would revive the fossilized remains of the bad guys find a asteroid and it has tishue of the brains, go to a ancient temple and see fragments of zongazongas skull on a alter, and then go to a old abandoned ship and find test tubes of DNA from black ravens expirements some including his owne then in a secret lab they revived all of the bosses and they all work together to take down each of the hero's on each of the islands as a world takeover revenge plot and everyone has to band together to help save the world a title like fossil fighters revive of a new world would be a cool name start as the hero of a new island with the new vivosaurs only apering on that island and as you progress ya go to the other islands to help save them from the bosses exacting their revenge and ya get access to that games introduced vivosaurs when ya go to their area only so no toba on the first island and no T-rex on the new island now with this is from newest to oldest progression since all the best vivosaurs are on the first island like T-rex, tricera, bracio, vraptor, petra, and krona to name a select few and then at the end ya come back to the new island and find the main bace of operations site and go to it for a final boss battle show down everyboss like a elete 4 kinda with the main Vivian of that game useing their version of some of the bosses with redone super stats diffrent from what ya would revive later post game and have a epic final show down the hardest boss battle in history of fossil fighters zongozonga, black raven, and a special combined version of the 3 brains to make ultimite brain a new legendary vivosaur that will have toned down stats from this fight when ya get it but mostly the same but that will be her team with crazy support stats and powerfule moves and even a special team skill that requires all the fp they got to unleash but will be devastating, and what team to take on this legendary boss battle well of course a combination of the crimson ravanger, igno, and frigi all with super stats diffrent from how they would be for normal play of course like ya would go to one of the islands and do the boss battle with 1 of the legendary vivosaurs against the boss ravanger for the frontier lands, frigi for champions since their ain't a epic good legendary for champions and frigi looks like argenteno from that game so maybe the cheff went over to champions and found the fossil and came back to vivosaur island for domination kind of thing and ignoto of course would be on vivosaur island in a updated look of course of the volcano area. But a championship moded battle to make sure that it's epic right from the start ya you can come back later with diffrent vivosaurs and even the same team but the first battle to do the story would be this modded battle cause with increased hip shake powers their enhanced to flight the enhanced bosses but only for 1 fight 1 chance snerio it's all up to you it would be so epic! But ya a total remastered version of the games areas and the battle mechanic from champions being the main one it uses with everything comeing back that was everadded but cars would be a side minigame to get a few fossils in certain areas and not the main transportation also could be enhanced with submarine and plane veicals like ya can walk around the area but certian areas can only be assesible from veicals but no reviveing in cars ugh no only excavation to be brought back to the labs also ya can select to go out in a veical but can leave the veical in certain areas like in the middle of the sky ugh no but on the side of a moutian yes then gondola down to fossil hunt from diffrent areas and that goes for sea, swamp, volcanos, fields, jungles everywhere like litterly the amount of vivosaurs that would be in this instalment would need every area of the game just to hold them all all areas haveing their respective vivosaurs to their original locations but maybe as diffrent ways like in rainbow canyon ya could fly to diffrent mountains and in redwood forest ya would have to go through some tough train for some fossils that only a atv or jeep would go through it would be a step up from frontier not all about cars but their a side thing to help get to the rare fossils while maybe finding some along the way to the destination. But ya a massive game a all 3 into 1 fossil fighters revival would be it's true title a revival of the franchise a remaster of old games while still adding in New elements to enhance the old areas and with graphics like in breath of the wild the areas would look stunning if done right then the vivosaurs man all of them in their champions sprites updated to fit the new 3d but same models no doubt and even remake the frontier ones into the old style a diplo or lathyonax would look so epic! Will a game like that ever come out we can only dream but one things certian nothing stays gone forever.

I know how a 4th Fossil Fighter game containing every vivosaur could work flawlessly. The 4th game should be Very Meta, inviting All important Fossil fighters from the old game to be apart of a "Super Tournament" to make the contest more important. The climax would be amazing, going to every old area vivosaur island, the caleiteao islands, and the wardens parks. You would fight the resurrected final bosses of every old game, and finally defeat a mind demon to destroy these mind orbs that you've been searching for the whole game.

To tell you the truth I was thinking the exact same thing, but I was going to copy Gametoons idea of Poppy playtime and rainbow friends when their worlds merge together.merging all three worlds of fossil fighters through frontier except for one thing, I was thinking for the villain behind it would be the BB Brigade for the original fossil fighters but also to have a special creature similar to frontier for both pterosaur and plesiosaur not to mention for you to have a bony buggy for air and sea which I would call bony chopper and bony sub as for the partner creatures, they would be for water Mosasaur as for air Quetzalcoatl that were secretly recreated from the Dreddactyl and the dreadtylo entering for the final battle Dreadcrow would combine with the other two then face the abomination on a one vs nine Battle on Land sea and air but it switches positions when you decrease it by 25% but it doesn’t mean you can pick your allies that can help you as long if there Vivasaur matches the requirement for a land sea and air.

so I heard a rumor about some "fossil fighters ultra" game that "supposed to" come out in april 2018, but everywhere I look the news is scant. I found a wiki/fandom page for it, and its even got a list of vivosaurs that will be in it. but I cant find jack shit about the game other than the fandom page

I believe it’s because it’s a fan game that most likely won’t even happen. I found some comments on that fan site saying it was a concept idea from a user there, so it’s not from Red Entertainment sadly :(

I personally think that they should bring back every vivosaur from past fossil fighters games like how smash ultimate brought back every fighter. Yes, even the ones from frontier to count EVERY vivosaur. Though I won't be surprised if they just port frontier to the switch. I mean come on. They ported Mario kart 8, mario bros u, captain toad treasure tracker, and donkey Kong country tropical freeze to the switch. So I wouldn't be surprised if they decide to just port frontier to the switch. It would be interesting to see how they'd pull off a fossil fighters game on the switch since the switch doesn't have two screens like the ds. Plus the fossil excavation might change due to the switch not having a stylus of some sort.

To be clear, I never said I wanted the "frontier" designs for every vivosaur. In fact, one of the honorable mentions was "the return of Cel-Shaded graphics," namely the way "Champions" designed the then-current vivosaurs for the DS. Though I thought Mapo's re-design was an interesting take IMO. In short, I don't necessarily want the "Frontier" designs (except perhaps for those introduced in Frontier). A mix of the two (favoring the "DS/Champions" looks of course) if anything, though I do understand the concern. :)

I’m probably the only one who genuinely liked and enjoyed Frontier, but I will admit that my favorite is still champions. However that doesn’t mean Frontier was a bad game, I like some of the ideas and mechanics it brought that I’d love for it to comeback. So if they mixed both Champions and Frontier that’d be epic!

If they bring back super fossils, I have 2 suggestions: 1. Make it so you can "cancel" a super evolution (just like in Pokemon) so that you just keep the regular vivosaur, but give them the +100/5/5/5/5 stat gain. In my copy, I have a couple dozen vivosaurs that can't super evolve, but have gold fossils on them, because the stat gains make them extremely good. Arguably even better than some super evolvers! It would be cool to be able to have a regular T-Rex with +100/5/5/5/5 stats on top of it. That way I could potentially have the entire roster of vivosaurs, all with miraculous fossil rocks on them! 2. Make it optional to see the color changes from using silver rocks, or just make them more appealing. Seriously. Some of the silver fossil palette swaps were DISGUSTING. Blue/yellow Saichan? Purple/green Allo? I often chose to just sell my silver fossils or clean them for DP instead of actually using them, because the color swaps for some vivosaurs were so terrible. Silver arms Carno looked really cool, or silver legs Thalasso. And those ones worked because the color change was less dramatic, and the colors weren't complete contrasts of one another. Even still, some people may just want to add silver super fossils but still only see their original colors, so the option to "hide" the color change would be nice. In online play, other players could also just check your vivosaurs' stats to see which silver fossil they have, so it's not like it would give anyone an unfair advantage, either.

Sounds like an excellent idea! :D A few problems, though; (1) I'm not sure either will respond, because (A) of the not-so-good performance of "Frontier", and (B) Nintendo might be really busy with other, "more popular" games, and (2) I'm not sure if sending a link of this video to their web addresses (or something similar) is allowed, or if said link might likely be marked as "spam". Not that I'm not willing to try, but I'm just hoping that doing do is safe [is all I'm saying].

I hope that if we do get a FF4 they go back to how FF2 was. Frontier was so...so bad...and its sad cause it was the first time EU got to play one of the games unless they in port them from other country's. So most more then likely didnt get to enjoy the treasures that was FF1 and 2. Frontier drop the super evolve saurs as well as change the type circle (which was super confusing at first as someone who has played the games from the very start to have fire no longer strong againts earth and switch to air and such) legendarys also got remove. I haaated the car. And....i feel they legit 'child-fi' the series. The intro when you start the game up...is just so cringy like a opening song in some childs show and very not apealing at least to me. And last but not least... The dino redesigns...and even type changes...some dont even look ANYTHING like what they use to look like ( *example look up Hopter from FF2/C*) There was allot more issuses i have as well but i could be here all day If i had to say anything i liked about FF3/FFF its that it had a nice cast. The dig sites had some good background music. I also liked that your basicly are visiting other places around the world finding native dinos to each part And i liked that your little namable dino starter fallows ya around and plays his own part in the story. I also like when doing the battles in the tourament place you would sometimes fight people with names of the original casts of the past two games which was a nice throw back to the first 2 games. But thats legit like it. But ya because of the 3rd installment i been worry about if or what the 4th game would be like if we ever got a 4th installment. After the huge and horrorable changes that was done to the series. So heres to hoping it gets better. Cause Champion's was legit almost perfect
