Raul Julias last role was not Addams Family...... it was Street Fighter and he died shortly after that. He was an amazing Bison, too...... you can say, his role was the best role in the entire movie, cause he acted his heart out to give the people, who watched the movie, an entertaining movie.

His best roles were in the dramatic roles that showcased his theatrical training that made him go toe to toe on stage Meryl Streep. He was amazing in Presumed Innocent, Kiss of the Spider Woman and in Romero. His best comedic performance was in Moon Over Parador.

If my memory serves me correct, when the Dark Knight Rises was in development after Heath Ledger died, Christopher Nolan had to completely rewrite the script for the movie. He was hesitant to do the movie.

Let's not forget that that we were supposed to see Mrs. Doubtfire gets a sequel. Unfortunately, bc of the passing of Robin Williams in 2014, it never got finished and we never got to see the final product. It is what it is, whether if we wanted a Mrs Doubtfire sequel or not you cannot deny how sad it was to lose this beloved comedian so soon. 😢😢😢

As a child of the '90s, Raul Julia is THE Gomez to me. He's also the reason why I loathe the Gomez in Wednesday and HATE the animated Gomez with the fire of a thousand suns. I don't care that both are much closer to the original comics presentation of Gomez. Raul Julia IS Gomez and always will be. Honestly that entire '90s cast IS the Addams Family, period. You can't top Angelica Houston, Christopher Lloyd, Christina Ricci, and Jimmy Workman alongside Raul!

David Niven was in failing health during the filming of "Trail of the Pink Panther"-if you listen to the dialogue in the clip, you'll notice it's not actually Niven's voice. He was so weak that Rich Little had to be called in to loop the dialogue.

What about "Dark Blood" which starred River Phoenix? He had one day of filming left to go when he, his brother, sister and girlfriend all went out to the nightclub "The Viper Room". A few hours later, River Phoenix lay dead outside the "Viper Room" from an alleged speedball overdose. The movie never got released, despite being virtually finished. One of the reasons is Rivers' family didn't want it released, as Phoenix plays a nasty character in the film and they didn't want his last role to be one where he is portrayed in a negative light.

The 2012 version of Sparkle with Jordin Sparks and Whitney Houston was originally supposed to have Aaliyah starring as the title character (Whitney Houston had her in mind when she bought the rights to produce the remake of the movie) but Aaliyah died in a plane crash and then ten years later they finally remade it but it was Whitney Houston’s last film before she died. I also heard that Aaliyah was supposed to play Honey in the movie Honey (which ended up starring Jessica Alba)

Lethal Weapon 5, Richard Donner wanted to do a fifth film for years but the studio were dragging their feet. Then, after the success of Bad Boys 3, WB gave the go ahead, Donner began development, but he sadly died just a few months later. There is talk though that it still might happen, Mel Gibson wants to direct it, but that hasn't gone anywhere.

Another thing I find interesting about a specific cancelled film, which never even got past the casting, but it has something in common with A Confederacy of Dunces, is there was a planned movie about silent film star Fatty Arbuckle. John Belushi expressed interest in played Arbuckle, he died. John Candy expressed interest in the project too, he died. Chris Farley expressed interest and it would have been his first dramatic role, he sadly died too. So there are just as many problems with a movie about Fatty Arbuckle as there are A Confederacy of Dunces.

Strange, I always knew it but this is the first time I have seen the footage and I can now see how obvious it is! During the filming of that atrocity "Trail of the Pink Panther" and it's equally abysmal followup "Curse of the Pink Panther" David Niven was crippled by Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease). He died of ALS 1983. He could hardly speak during the shoot so his dialogue was dubbed by impressionist Rich Little. Niven found out about this when he read about it in a film magazine, and it greatly saddened him. What a sad, sad end to the brilliant career of a legendary actor.

'Addams Family Values' was released in 1993 and 'Street Fighter' was released in the US just before Christmas the following year. Raul Julia passed away a couple of moths before the latter's release

Rust may end up being next as well, with the shooting of that one cinematographer and actors switching up all over the place, at least that was Jensen Ackles' case, and the already controversial move dropping Alec Baldwin of any charges that one may be canned too. Originally, the production was stopped. After a series of lawsuits, one including the cinematographer Halyna Hutchins window. The production resumed this year and have wrapped up. From my understanding the movie was to be suspended indefinity however due to the lawsuit by Hutchins window, the film went back into production and the window is to receive any profit made from the film.

Wow. A Confederacy of Dunces is obviously hexed and perhaps cursed. It is an excellent read but seems to cause death to those who sign up to play Ignatius. Even the author died from writing it. Quite sad. Wonder who owns the right to film the book ? They should be aware of the deadly consequences of even attempting to make a film of it-and go ahead and make it while promoting the book as a killer-- to get seats in the theatre.

There has been a stage adaptation with Nick Offerman that got good reviews, but he hasn't been rumored for a film version. The book seems like it would be very adaptable with the right director (maybe the Coen bros or P. T. Anderson) and lead (Belushi would've been best).
