We love all of your videos. Love your Hobie! In the past we had a Hobie 14 and a Hobie 16 sailboat and won several races. Hobie makes a quality product. You are a natural at this Stephen. Keep up the good work.

Great vid! What is the little black bungie cord (coming out from under your square hatch) for? Thanks!

Its to hold the Mirage Drive Pedal back for when you're trying to paddle or go over shallow spots.

@@BamaSaltwater go see Chris at Sam’s. He carries them. Both of us are on their field staff, and it’s for a good reason. Go by there and check them out sometime. When we get together and fish sometime you can see them in action as well.

Good job! Fan of all things Hobie and Fairhope Boat Co. Have you seen the nifty Hobie battery holders? Mounts in rear round hatch or to sail mast mount in front hatch and will get the battery out of your console hatch. I use 2 as I have 2 batteries, 1for D/F and 1 for SuperNova lights for night fishing.

I have!!!!! This one is just a temporary setup until my Garmin quits working! The Garmin was on my Skiff that sat upside in saltwater for 4 days, so I know it’s bound to stop working one of these days 😂😂

I am always amazed at the view. Do you own like 50 acers of water front property or is this location a hidden gem with no population? Always looks like you are the only one around.

Great walkthrough man! I have the same kayak and did not have an anchor trolly installed for 2020. Looking forward to installing for 2021! Does the front hatch insert help with the water leaking? Thats the one thing I need to fix.
@BamaSaltwater3 жыл бұрын
It does, it compresses that gasket a lot more than without it. Think they designed it that way intentionally compared to the previous versions.
