Thank you for the tour. Algiers point is certainly affordable looking at home prices on Zillow. A lot of upper middle class retirees would love the warmer weather, the history the music the art and of course the food. OMG the food! If they can have all that in a safe affordable place close to things they need the city is a great option.

NOLA is one of my favorite cities of all time! It’s gorgeous. Sure, there’s crime but stay away from it and it looks like people can live very well there.

Does Algiers Point have public schools in the neighborhood? I saw online that there is a grade school (up to preteen age, if I recall,) but what about high school? Do teenagers have to commute every morning to go to school?
