The fact that every song is followed by an equally awesome one that nonethelss gives me full genre-whiplash is a testament to how talented Soken and his team are and how diverse the soundtrack has gotten over the years.

Smile is a really jarring song at first, and the places where they decide to play it during the MSQ don't make sense. But my fucking god is it an absolute banger when you listen to it on its own. The opening is meh, but like a minute in it becomes this extremely uplifting gospelly chant, the harmonies and the melodies absolutely slap, and the reference to Tomorrow and Tomorrow at the end is sublime.

Whenever I hear "bee my honey" it's such an easy skip for me. I hate that bee and everything about her. I'm GLAD I don't need to touch her at all for reclears anymore, and I groan whenever I get her in normal roulette
