I played Newton for the second time in about two years. The first time, I didn't really think much of it. This time, I realized how good it is. There are a lot of options to score points, and very little randomness. Unlike Chess, the board changes with each setup. It's really good.

Fun video! I can see your confusion over the Darwin games; they even came out around the same time. If you ever want to actually try Darwin's Journey and aren't against TTS I'd be happy to teach you. It is a very brain crunchy game that you really need to play a few rounds to pick up. I've been really enjoying Wyrmspan solo still, and currently building a folded space insert for it now. I haven't played any new to me games yet, but my copy of Tang Garden just arrived, and I'm meeting friends this weekend so I'm sure we'll get something new to the table.
