I think if San Jose won the game it could have been a lot higher but they lost in the 4th overtime period that game :( still a crazy save regardless

it's amazing but it's pretty straightfoward, when I see that save I don't think ''No other goaler could have possibly made that save." For the other ones, I do

I re-watch this video every year, right around Christmas, usually the day before I bring my (used, admittedly low-quality) goalie equipment to the ODR for the first time. I played hockey for 7-ish years as defense, and I enjoy playing goalie casually.

I know nobody cares. But in high school i had a sick save where i dove for a poke check(laying down on my front side with my body extended) and about half a second before i poke the puck, he wrist-ed it straight above me. Without even thinking about it, I bent my knees and raised my two back feet together and somehow smacked the puck .

I had one similar where I missed the poke check and they went to my right, so I spun my left arm around and caught it behind my back, kind of like Hasek.

Wow, that last save was def. worth number 1. The angle he had to reach back, hold onto it, and not cross the line!!! Beautiful moment for him to remember forever.

It was also incredibly impulsive. He was looking the other way, didn't know what was going on on his left, amd just reaches that glove to exactly the right place. Just incredible.

Credit to his defenceman for not giving up on the play and helping tie up the shooter to give the goalie the chance to make the save.

Cujo will be one of the best Goalies of all time. I remember in the 80s when he was playing in St. Louis, his team was eliminated and there was Goalies that couldn't catch up to Cujos great Performance. Great Goalie!

I'm old enough to remember the late Roger Crozier...he made reflexive saves I have never seen before or since. Once against Toronto, he made a glove save (he was a right hand catcher, unusual in the 1960s) while looking fully to his left, away from the shot!
