I concur! 🙌🏻 Used to follow the skincare model template which places great emphasis on hydration but eventually I realise that this routine is not suited to my skin type at all 😅 Living in a tropical climate all year round paired with a combination oily skin only makes my skin worse due to applying makeup on top of moisturising sunscreen layered on a heavy cream lol. My foundation has always been cakey but not until I changed to a gel moisturiser (pyunkyang yul) and a lightweight sunscreen recently. 😌😌

@@dolsemiyano I have oily skin and large pores so the thick sunscreens from when I was a kid feel awful now. If it’s really sunny outside I don’t even bother with a cream, I just use a serum after cleanser and toner then go on with lightweight sunscreen(Coola Classic Organic)or BB cream with SPF(Missha M Perfect Cover).

For me, I have dry skin, and loved the Klairs rich moist soothing cream in the winter, Beauty of Joseon Dynasty cream in the summer, and Soon Jung 2x barrier intensive cream in the spring/summer/fall. I've tried the Pyunkang Yul calming moisture repair balm last winter but didn't like it. It is a thick cream, yet I didn't feel that it was that moisturizing on my skin, like the Klairs one. Tried the Real Barrier Extreme cream last winter too, just ok, way too thick texture, yet don't feel like it offers more moisturizing effect on my skin like the Klairs one.

Although it is hot outside I've recently tried Pyunkang Yul Intensive repair cream and omg it's so good! I have oily skin, but it doesn't feel too heavy. It's smooth, rich and hydrating. My skin feels amazing and I am so ready to buy another jar :D

Live in tropical country Indonesia, I only use the illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate cream for my dry sahara skin 😂 but use light texture of toner and serum. My skin turns out loving this routine lol

I am absolutely loving .y Soo Soothing box!!! When I saw your toner pads and the Dewytree milky cleanser and the Suns reen!!!! I had to have it!! I fell in love with the Pyunkang yul cream!!! Omg its heaven!! And the spot treat is the abs bestttttt ever!!!!!! Omg Soo!!! It is so good!!! Love the box!!!! I use the products from my Euni box all the time!!!! Now I have some more amazing products!!!! Also the box came right on time because my skin was acting up and I used a strong retinol and it was so sensitive so your toner pads came in to the rescue and the Retinol Cica doesn't make my skin so sensitive!!! hello Soo and thank you for this wonderful video. I was wondering if you could compare the Iunik beta glucon daily moisture cream and the Laneige waterbank in a video. when it comes to creams I don't know if it's just me but I feel like the gel type creams are the best for sensitive/atopic skin. My skin who tends to hate almost every skincare product on the planet absolutely loves gel type creams in particular Missha 95% aloe vera and Mizon snail recovery gel cream. They're wonderful creams that I highly recommend for sensitive/atopic skin

I have combination skin but I’m very oily in the summer, and every time I put any lotion or cream in the daytime in 2 to 3 hours I’m an ocean of oil. Only gel moisturizer work for me on summertime but I have notice that some of them aren’t that good. Please help!😩😭

Thanks Soo, the timing of this video was right on for me. The trouble I'm having is finding a moisturizer that stands up to my sunscreen. Depending on what sunscreen I use, the moisturizer either becomes too heavy or not enough - still looking for that 꿀 조합 in the meantime.

Love how you describes all the cream in such details!! I cant find a favourite moisturiser because moisturiser seems to work well on my skin for awhile and then after a few weeks, it is not effective on my skin anymore... Switch between 2 moisturisers work though. Anyone facing the same issue?

Yes your skin gets used to the moisturizer and stops producing it’s own natural good stuff to keep you hydrated. So you must switch between moisturizer to surprise your skin. 🤩

I love Huxley anti gravity cream for my dry skin. It gives nice hydration and it leaves slight film on my skin which I really like. Sadly it’s sold out in my country and I can’t get it anywhere. I’ve tried the real barrier extreme cream but I don’t really like it. It’s thick but it doesn’t feel enough moisturising and it gives matte finish which I dislike. What cream would you recommend that is similar to the Huxley anti gravity and leaves the skin dewy?

Lots of layers at night. I use a hydrating toner and at least one hydrating serum before moisturizer. And then I layer creams based on how my skin feels, waiting a few minutes between layers. I layer a gel cream, which has quickly absorbed hydration, a few drops of facial oil mixed into a thicker balm style cream and finally, if I need to, a thin layer of Vaseline/petroleum jelly to keep it all in. Daytime, layer a gel cream, a medium weight cream and then a very hydrating sunscreen. A few drops of facial oil added to a cream you don’t find moisturizing enough can make all the difference.
