I would love to see that be made. Olivia's character was one of the best things about SVU and made it my top of the three series I watch (original, SVU, & CI). After watching Olivia benson on svu for so many years she gave me the motivation and courage that when I’m ready and in an even better place career wise than I am now that I’d adopt a child. I’ve always been career driven and wanting to make money but I also know that one day I would want a child and I didn’t care if I was in a relationship or married or not. I’d still love to have a child. Benson is so strong and has fought her way to having what she has now and seeing her from a detective to a captain with a beautiful baby boy has definitely inspired me.

The russian roulette scene should've been #1, you could feel the fear and you couldnt help but get scared yourself. It's what defined her character growth and dignity. Also I'm glad they didn't force Benson and Stabler together in a sad attempt to cause sexual tension or drama, it made it more realistic to have them as partners and close friends, but to have him retire without telling Benson, just disappearing off the face of the earth was heartbreaking.

One of my favorite moments is really small but it’s awesome just the same. In the episode from season 2 where a detective from homicide is accused of raping his wife, one of his buddies takes a cheap shot at Stabler on a basketball court to send a message. When they finally go to arrest the guy the friend stands up trying to intimidate Stabler again, but Liv walks right up to him and stares him down and he literally just walks away looking like a pissed off toddler. It’s beautiful.

I agree with most of these, but how could you leave out the first time she escaped from William Lewis?!? The turmoil of emotions she goes through being tortured, almost sexually assaulted and held captive for 4 days truly showed us how tough she is. The amount of anger she finally releases on him (most likely a culmination of all the past predators she's had to endure) is insane to watch and it completely changed her character afterwards. God I love that woman!!!!

I love the beautiful, talented and interesting Mariska Hargitay, she is a very good actress and she does excellent work as Captain Olivia Benson on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit SVU, Olivia is a very good woman, mother and detective, she is smart, professional, generous, empathic, sympathy and she is the heart and soul of the show and SVU wouldn't lasted 21 seasons without her, I loved her relationship, her partnership and friendship with Elliot Stabler played by Christopher Meloni, they had great chemistry together but also codependent with each other too but this is my opinion, I don't believe Olivia would be a mother to Noah Porter Benson and a Captain if they were still partners when he left she grew and that was good for her and she is the best.
