My most replayed route is Shiraishi from Collar Malice the base game and the fan disc. I just adore that broken man! Although my favorite route goes to the secret love interest in Piofiore and he had some time to shine in 1926! I haven't heard of your favorite otome game before. Definitely going to look into that one. I especially like the idea of cursed books.

Meanwhile, I was most excited for Yanagi's route and I was bored after playing Shiraishi's. But I also had figured out who Zero was by my 3rd route.

My most replayed route recently is Yosuga from Olympia Soiree, That man got me with his beautiful voice and cooking skills. His extra short story is one of my favorite CGs. Also i love playing Hanzo´s route from Nightshade, he is so cool!

One of my most replayed routes is Okita from Hakuouki! One of the first routes I ever played and I can just never forget about him T^T And then of course I met Gilbert in Piofiore and went through a similar kind of life altering experience hehe.. I also find myself replaying a lot of the plays and character events in Jack Jeanne (specifically for Suzu) It's probably the only game where I'd be happy to replay any random part of it at any time! I think it's so comforting to have certain stories and characters that you can always come back to like that. It really feels like you can rely on them and they are happy welcome you back! After finishing virche I will definitely need something to fix me LOL I recently started playing NilAdo and I am slowly making my way through it at snail's pace, but I have to agree that the game has such a special feel to it. (The music!! it's so beautiful...) I really want to see what all the character routes are going to be like :)

Kudos to You as fallow HAKUOKI fan. To be honest, I am curious, who will became favourite Lin HAKUOKI character, if she ever played it. Personally think for sure between Okita, Hijikata and Chikage. By behaviour and unique voice, I'll be almost sure Chikage, but Okita being yandere, or bossy, but very tsundere Hijikata are also possibilities... How You think? 🤔

my most replayed route is either yang from piofiore fated memories, or takeru from collar x malice. i absolutely love when stern/harsh characters display their softer sides, or when apathetic characters start to present their emotions and become vulnerable. i just love the character development and the development of the relationships overall. trust is a big part of a relationship, and i think (especially in takeru's route), that is presented in such a beautiful way!

I think my most replayed route of all in its entirety was Ryuki from CupiPara! He is just SO adorable! I don't usually replay the whole route, sometimes I just rewatch my favorite scenes from time to time, but for him I replay the whole thing. I can't wait for the more spicier scenes with him in the fandisc! Also, I'm playing Jack Jeanne now and even though I can skip most of the common route to get to the new ones, there's some moments I just can't help but rewatch it slowly again! Especially the winter play scene with Shirota! And many many moments with Suzu because Uchida Yuma is my favorite seiyuu and I can't have enough of his voice. Speaking of him, I also replay some scenes from Olympia Soirée quite often to hear his amazing work as Yosuga.

I only just got a Switch so I'm still busy playing my games through for the first time, but Piofiore already has me hooked and I bought the fd before even finishing my first route (There's no way I can't have more of these characters!). I can already tell that this game will be an all time favorite for replays. My most replayed game so far though is Dandelion ~ Wishes Brought to You by Cheritz. It was my first Korean dating sim and the stories of each character were just so engaging that I weep everytime I realize I don't have a physical copy of this game. I've replayed it so many times and yet I still cry T-T

My most replayed route is definitely Kurobas route in olympia soiree. I was absolutely enraptured by his character which was surprising because hes not the typical character that i normally like. Yet i just loved his route so much and everytime i pick up a new game i feel the need to replay Kurobas route just to make sure i dont forget who my favroite man is !

My backlog is so bad I don’t usually replay routes but what I do is I replay cg scenes from the gallery sometimes. I have done it with older games like code realize and amnesia etc cuz it’s been so long I forgot some scenes. I really love Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly since I always end replaying all the game!! lol its such a great game and super emotional, I ended up crying every single time. I also replay a lot Kei from Collar Malice, the dispair in his voce in the first game when he thought he was losing her always makes sooooo emotional 😢

I think my most replayed game has to be Bustafellows. It was the first actual otome game I ever bought ( if we ignore the countless nights spend on mobile dating sims ) and still holds my heart no matter how many other titles I discover. I just love the banter between the male leads and the complexity of pretty much all the side characters ♡⸜(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)⸝♡

Yeeees! I love Benkei too. I do not see a lot of people talk about him. I usually do not replay the whole routes just specific parts of a route but I recently thought about replaying the whole Helsing route from Code Realize and Hanzo from Nightshade. Honestly I do not remember specifics from their routes anymore because it was pretty long ago that I played them but I have a memory loving them and being my favorite routes from the respective games. It would be interesting to see if my taste changed after playing so much more otome games as these two where one of my first otomes . :D

I replayed Piofiore after I finally got my hands on the fandisk - Piofiore was my first console otome and I had completely forgotten how great a game it was for me to fall in love with a genre :') an extra 40 hours well spent

I've only started playing otomes recently as I've returned to my hs animanga roots (so much so that I finally signed up for online Japanese courses in capital's university after years of trying to learn it on my own with just the Genki textbooks), so I'm still in my impressionable and "WHATS NEXT" era. But when I will play enough of the backlog otomes I'm excited to get to, out of the otomes I've played so far I feel like Allan from Cupid Parasite will be the first I'm gonna replay. In my heart he's always gonna be the true ending, the only way I can accept is that they will end up a throuple with the "true" ending. He's the perfect balance of pining, caring, "I'm not worthy" and "I will do anything for her happiness", angst and comfort is just great. Even his "bad" ending when they're demons together? Magical, meaning of true love. Also, his theme is the best, every time it played in the game I hesitated moving forward and after I found it on spotify (as "Stolen Parasite") it stayed in my daily loop for a good few months 😂

Olympia Soiree, most replayed. Will go back again. Love, love, love. And I want to add that I waited this long to play Birushana, thinking that because reviews said it wasn't that steamy I wouldn't like it. I actually find it better than Cupid Parasite, which I've been trying to complete for the last year. It was surprising! I love Benkei too!!!!!

For that reason, my most replayed character/route is Zyglavis from Star-Crossed Myth. However, the character/route that lives most rent-free in my brain is Saint-Germain from Code: Realize. 😢❤

I thought I would hate the 8 chapter long prologue/main story but I actually love it because it gives you the chance to see all the character dynamics first without any romance. @LinLinLavender I just got into otome games this year, but I tend to pick a favorite guy each game. I feel like Olympia Soiree, the Piofiore games, and CupiPara are the most re-playable. I'm aesthetically inconsistent; but I tend to like LI that has conflict due to trauma that MC helps him resolve (Kuroyuki from Nightshade, Luke from Ikemen Prince, Shu from Bustafellows) and kind, protective types. I can't even pick a favorite from Even If Tempest because the LI are all that way. I hate the ones that flirt with everyone, but I love it when they flirt only with MC. Sorry the reply is so long!

I have way too much backlog because I jump back and forth between games that I don't really replay any routes. But if I had the time to, I'd probably go back and play Saito & Harada from Hakuoki, Dazai from Charade Maniacs, Allan from Cupid Parasite, and maybe Yanagi and Shiraishi from Collar x Malice. I haven't really completed too many games (usually 2-3 routes per game), so it's hard for me to choose. It's my goal to at least finish Piofiore, Birushana, Lover Pretend, and Radiant Tale (in middle of Vilio's right now) by the end of this year 😂

On other favorite moment is when the MC overdid it with her power and Benkei asks her to take some of his spirit. It’s so romanticly cute I kinda wished for a Picture for this moment but oh well it is still good enough And the other is when the Mc literally tells him how she feels about him and wants to spent her life with him and he first don’t gets it. It’s an emotionally rollercoaster in seconds but in a good way lol. I just started to bought some Otome games for my Switch bc I have my switch not that long but benkei his route left just such an awesome impression I definitely gonna play it again especially if some Otome games route aren’t sincere and cute enough I at least can play his route again haha I am also happy to have found your channel so I can get an impression of the games before I buy them There just to many and you never know which you want to buy first ^^" So thank you for that and have a great day :)

@@LinLinLavender​​⁠ Radiant Tale is high on the list of the Otome I am gonna buy but I just bought 2, 2 months ago and even if I am almost completly through I just can’t buy every month a game I would if I could but the games are most of the time too captivating that I just want to play these and don’t want to do anything else And I do think they are expensive I mean Otome Games cost around 50€ most of the time so, I am most of the time waiting for sales But thank you for telling me! @@LinLinLavender I really like Henri from piofiore; Kouyou, Koharu, Minami and Seiya from 9R; literally the whole cast from Virche, but especially Ankou🥺, Lucas and Scien; I just started to play the cupipara FD and Merenice really grew on me (even though I'm only on like chapter 2 lol) as well as Allan and Peter; almost finished Code:Realize and I am absolutely in love with Saint Germain❤️ these are the main ones right now but they will probably drastically increase this year😅 THERE ARE TOO MANY AMAZING CHARACTERS OUT THERE BUT I'M TRYING TO STAY STRONG AS A MEMBER OF YANG GANG✊ Some Seiyuus that are giving Okamoto Nobuhiko a run for his money for me are: Hirakawa Daisuke (I was kinda traumatized from the Diabolik lovers Anime but oh boy did he change my mind) Tachibana Shinnosuke (I absolutely love listening to his elegant voice, especially since quite a few of his characters are as sus as they are elegant haha) Kazuyuki Okitsu (👏GIVE👏THIS👏MAN👏MORE👏ROLES👏) Also currently suffering from Adolphe brainrot so I'm probably gonna get Tengoku and the baseball otoge😂 SO HYPED FOR UTAKATA NO UCHRONIA AND MATSURIKA NO KEI also some others but these are definitely first on my to buy list

I sadly don't quality for it since I've yet to play an Otome game and I live in the US. I am definitely over 18 (I am old enough to have an 18 year old lol). Games just cost a lot of money and there are other types of games I want to play more of. The closest to an Otome game I've played is a Visual novel, but it's not your traditional Otome game because there's no wrong choice in the game and it's extremely customizable since you can create your own MC. It's called Our Life: Beginnings and Always. I first heard about this game when I was getting into Otome and it's an indie game (main game is for free and you pay for any DLC). There's one LI, but there's DLC for 2 other LIs. Game is so wholesome and there is steam in it (extra steam for Patreon supporters due to it being 18+ material). The game is about you and your new neighbor, Cove, growing up together (age 8 to 23). You have complete control over how your relationship develops. Game has 4 chapters or Steps (as called in game) with 5 moments each (10 if you get the DLC), includes a prologue and epilogue for each chapter, an in-between chapter (that's just dialogue) that talks about the changes in between steps. Each chapter focuses on a specific age- Step 1- 8 years, Step 2- 13 years, Step 3- 18 years, Step 4- 23 years. Step 4 though doesn't have Moments though, it really is just one big epilogue. There's also Wedding DLC if you want to marry Cove (I don't think you can do it for the other LIs, especially since one of those LIs is the wedding planner lol). There are CS and at times you have to do something to get them. Like I didn't know this, but you can have your first kiss in Step 2 and it's just so cute and awkward since you and Cove are 13 lol. Anyway, I do love this game. There's a 2nd game from this franchise and a demo for it is out now. This time there are 2 LIs from the start, one male and one female. The game developer Patch Games had a successful kickstarter and there will be Wedding DLC for this game too. I'll be curious on how they tackle that. Being a straight female I am going after the guy and the girl LI will just be my best friend in the end lol. This game is called Our Life: Now and Forever. It does take place in the same universe as Beginnings and Always since one of the chars from the first game appears in this game too. It's really nice. Okay sorry about rambling, but this franchise is one of my favs now.

@@LinLinLavender LOL I am poor . . . and Otome Games aren't exactly cheap. I got a huge backlog of games to get and a few Otome are on that list like Norn 9 and Radiant Tale. I watch channels like yours to see what type I get because I have to be picky due to making very little money (90% of my money goes to being able to live, and the 10% I get, prioritize for things I want in long run and short run). Like as much as I enjoy video games, there are real life events I am saving up for including wanting go to Universal Studios Orlando in either Winter 2025 or 2026 and I want to go with my brother and his family (anything family related always ranks high). Plus the next Men's World Cup (2026) and LA Olympics (2028) are coming and those are on my bucket list.

I've actually never replayed a route? Not even a scene from a route that I can remember, not yet anyways. I do often go through the whole common route again for each character in games I like though haha I have been having a hankering to replay Impey lately but haven't gotten around to it and am more likely to just get and play the fandiscs since I haven't yet. I also don't really reread books much so maybe it's just not really my thing? I think about my favourite boys constantly though so maybe I'm missing out by not replaying their routes

Never fails me laugh. 😅 Tora, I needed to read 3 time to understand route itself. 🤣 2 *HAJIME SAITO* from HAKUOKI Demon of the Fleeting Blossom/Kyoto Winds/Edo Blossom. Even if Saito is undeniably my nr 1 otome guy forever for his soul. 🙌 1 Hazuki Kei from TOKIMEKI MEMORIAL GS 1st, as this guy is too sweet for this world. I usually HATE 'prince' characters, but he is such ODDBALL PRINCE, absolutely REFUSING staying in 'prince' character, sleeping through exams, on benches, and keeping away from people, befriending kitties and secretly making jewelary... And being mc first forgotten love/friend... This game is EXTREAMLY simple. But being on my phone since start, during 16 years of my otome playing, Hazuki Kei made sure, I'll replay his route not once YET. 💛 Also, my slow brain only year ago, talking to my friend, catched fact, he is Shiki from TnC, aka Midorikawa. 😳🤣 So, double kudos for seiyuu. 🏅 Oh, RIGHT! Saito is best boy! My first ever otome LI route I completed. I just recently went back to check how far I had progressed because I couldn't recall ever finishing Kazama (or Hijikata), and it turns out I did! I did Saito, Harada, Okita, and Todo in 2009, then went back in 2012-2013 to finish the last two routes 😂 I find it hard to believe it's been almost 15 years since I first started my otome journey 😅

I never played an otome game. I dislike overly toxic characters ( who treat the MC like a baby. A little pampering is okay but there are limits) and if the MC is super childish and naive. It can be dark but not the overall theme... Any suggestions on what I should play as a newbie?
