Supporting the original fragrance house is admirable and something I agree with but it only goes so far. I don't think for one second that the people who made my favorite fragrances aren't constantly thinking of ways to spend less and make more. They're always looking to get more money out of my pocket, it's what they do and I don't fault them for it. But it makes my loyalty directly related to the scent- if there's a clone that is just as good for less, I'm sorry I gotta go with it...the brands aren't "loyal" to their customers- they'll gouge you on prices, reformulate to save money etc...it's just business. If you want me to exclusively buy your product, give me no choice but to do so

I just had Emperor Extrait delivered, bought it after loads of reading, blind, so watched this video only after, but i can only agree with everything Chris said. I had a 2019 decant of aventus, and no thank you, perfectly happy with the 100 pounds for my 50ml EE, and will never consider Creed. For those who are against clone houses, well i would never ever buy a fake watch, but if Rolex did with their watches what creed pulled with Aventus, the whole management would have been sacked so quick that their heads would be still spinning around. I'm one of those people who would never ever stomach anything that's replica, be it clothes, shoes, but with this fragrance i'm incredibly happy. If today's Aventus provided the performance and balance, Emperor Extrait does, people would be still saving up for the "King" rather going for a second option.

I agree 100%, there is a lot people that chase 2016 or other old batches but realise they they are extremely rare and expensive. I regret I buy Emperor Extrait blindly 50ml should go for 100ml instead, but that's OK I am planning buy 100 Extrait and 50 EDP so its not about money more about availability what you looking for. I have tested new Aventus in shop and PV is stronger, yet can't complain Aventus was very good (tester) I have sample Aventus and spray agsins Emperor and my friends pick Emperor.

@@jeremythompson1199 I just recently bought emperor extrait and isla tropical prive. ITP smelled very good, EE was good too. Sadly the longetivity wasn't there, and both gave me mild allergic reactions so had to sell them. I moved on to sauvage elixir as my signature as it became my most complimented scent ever, and just secured a 50ml bottle of 20H11N aventus, which is fantastic and performs great :)

Ordered King intense about a year ago. Package got cought at the airport. Had to drive 40 min to then pay tax at customs because parfums vintage refused to simply mark the package as gift/present. Asked them via E-Mail. Got very rude responses. Never again.

I've had 7 products from Parfums Vintage and I know that they do not put the invoice in the packages. More generally, legitimate business do not entertain agreeing in writing to lie to customs agencies

PVI has been one of my most complemented fragrances, even more than Aventus. I love Emperor Extriat and the EDP. This guy simply puts Creed to shame. When he's able to create a near-identical fragrance with better performance for less than half the cost, something is certainly wrong.

I've tried emperor edp and extrait and although extrait is by far the best aventus inspired fragrance I've smelt emperor edp just give that extra push and only lacks in performance by about an hr. Pvi gold is a pineapple monster and Verbena field is a GIT beast. Great vid mate looking forward to your take on all the aventus inspirations from this house.

So after hearing my wife swoon over her getting a whiff of BR540 I ordered a decant to make sure it was the one. While waiting for it I recieved Sunset in Heaven as a gift. When they both arrived I can honestly say though both smelled fantastic, the PV Sunset just lasted so much longer and in terms of sillage and projection was miles above. So it's her daily wear now, I can smell it instantly and she says her customers are contantly asking what she wears. I have since purchased Sillage of Unicorns, PVI and X-Batch. And I guess after this I'll be checking out Puissant or Evolution. Thanks for a great review.

I got six samples last week from Parfums Vintage. Each is super high and spells spot on. My favorite is Pineapple Intense because my favorite part of Aventus is the opening. Emperor EDP is the closest to Aventus that I’ve tried. Rush of Unicorns is pretty much an exact replica of MI. Imbue smells like chia tea. I’m anxious to try other offerings.

I know some people hate clones but for us poorer people🤣, clones are a great alternative... be it PV, Dua, Alexandria, etc. I dont knock it especially if it improves the original or brings back some discontinued scents.

I received Rush of Unicorns a few days ago and had the tester already. I really enjoy the DNA. I also bought a couple of sample packages from Parfums Vintage for testing, including the entire Emperor range. I haven't tried Emperor Extrait yet. But I tried Emperor Maximus and Maximus Extrait :D And for me, these two are too weak on the smokey birch. The opening is very synthetic and reminds much of Club de Nuit Intense minus the smokiness. On the Facebook page of PV you will find a graphic which explains how much the Aventus clones are balanced along pineapple/apple, birch/woods and vanilla/musk compared to each other. Gives you a good overview and helps with the choice. Sunset in Heaven has a beautiful opening but the tester had no performance on my skin :( Evolution was also in my sample package but is yet to be tested!

Condorpilot I recommend letting the samples rest for about 4-6weeks after you get air in them. I own many of the PV bottles and then all get stronger over time.

Irregular Tangent it is high quality. I got six samples of different fragrances, and I’m very impressed. My favorite is Pineapple Intense because I love the fruity opening more than the birch wood dry down. It lasts for over 12 hours and is awesome. I tried Emperor and feel it’s a closer match to Aventus, I just like the Pineapple Intense better. Get a couple samples it’s the best clone of Aventus hands down. Rush of Unicorns is also literally identical to MI. Super high quality in that one too.

Josh from scentsense did a video of the top 3 clone houses and left Parfums Vintage Out. The comments section lit up (I'm sure he knew this) and He said that Parfums Vintage are in a league of their own when it comes to the quality of their releases. With Creed really ruining Aventus with their 2019N batches it may actually turn out that PV are the saviour to Aventus lovers. These batches are even missing some of the musks and have a more transparent ozone vibe. What on earth are Creed thinking?!

Just received my first Parfums Vintage purchase and I went with the new release Xeno you highly recommend on IG. Not had a full wearing yet but BR540 is definitely the base with great projection but really with that rum note would have stuck around from the opening. Still early but not getting much Straight to Heaven. I’m hoping so me this is a new release that it may change a bit after maceration. Quality fragrance regardless! Also got a sample of Sandal Amber which is really nice!

Emperor EDP and Extrait are truly amazing. If Aventus cloned Aventus it would smell like this. Any hate that PV get is just snobbery BS. I don’t get it. I won’t buy Aventus again unless they bring back the glory days. Until then Emperor is the one. Evolution De L’Homme Soir is also a fantastic alternative to Elysium.

It could be hard since they been forced to reformulate Aventus by law. PV on other side use natural ingredients and I love my Emperor Extrait, if I can buy old good Creed Aventus 2016< sure I will but is near to impossible without heavy price tag and still not sure if it is genuine.

@@rustyshackleford17 Creed had always problems with quality consistency, maybe because of ingredients they use, maybe because the have to follow EU regulation rules. PV on other side is based in Dubai, EU law don't impact them that much if at all, they don't have official shops where you can buy so less rules to follow, it's strictly online business. Its just my thoughts. If Creed after 260 years of family business was SOLD to private entities, they must really struggle with new regulations that's for sure and more to come in 2021 from IFRA. All major companies will have to refurmulate some of their products.

I just got my order in from them today, or I should say partial order. I ended up getting full bottle of the pineapple vintage intense, and a few samples (sublime leather, citrus no.1, alpine winds, and acqua 2016) should be in tomorrow. As far as my nose can tell they really did a good interpretation of aventus, not sure what batch of aventus I smelt in stores locally but it is definitely on par with it. Looking forward to getting more samples as they limit only 6 samples per an order, if I find I like one of the samples I got then I'll throw in another set of samples with a full bottle order.

Great video Chris. In my opinion emporer EDP was a bit underwhelming but vanilla intense was fantastic. Noir smelled like burned bacon and pineapple intense was average. Vanilla intense for sure the best in my opinion. I just did a full review on my channel.

Hi I’ve bought samples from perfumes vintage, vintage intense and emperor extrait. I felt quite let down by the scent on both. For the extrait it smelt sour and rather unpleasant. The pineapple vintage was far nicer smelling but even then it was not totally what I thought going by the very positive reviews. I found vintage to be not as smooth smelling as creed. Thanks

Sandal Amber has been on my radar for a while. I don’t have an Amber dominate fragrance yet but love Amber in fragrances. Would this be your recommendation over all Amber’s?
