But the night after his burial, his mother had a disturbing dream about Max laying on his side in the coffin, crying out for help. The parents tried to shake it off as a bad dream, but she experienced it again the following night. When Max's father finally dug up the grave, he was shocked to see Max lying on his side, just like in the dream. They took Max back to the doctor; who reluctantly re-examined him and was astonished to find that his heart was still beating. A week later, Max made a full recovery and didn't die for real until he was 85.

A boy I grew up with from my neighborhood was buried alive when he was 21. Early 80s. His father had a very successful business. The father had to fire a couple of employees and a few weeks later those former employees showed up at the son's place and kidnapped him for ransom. They took him north of the city and buried him in a pasture in a plywood box with a pipe for air. He was there 5 days. The police found him after a neighbor of the man who owned the pasture called him and told him there were people camping out on his land. The owner called the police, who found the kidnappers and detained them for trespass. I can't remember if one of the kidnappers confessed they buried someone nearby, or if the police went poking around and found the victim themselves. The victim was alive and went on to live a prosperous life. He said when he was down there, he had a lot of great hallucinations and thought about every person he'd ever known, and realized he loved every one.

Firstly amazing narrating Secondly when I heard number7 I felt very sorry for the kid's parents because they would have been very worried about the child but I am also very happy that the kid survived

I've never heard of the next of kin not being allowed the view a body, no matter what even after a suicide. I know that some jurisdictions will now allow you to touch it. That first story sounds like total b.s.
