I was playing challenge mode the other day, and in my first match against the Rookies (Bowser Jr.), I picked Toadsworth because he had the best pitch rating of all the characters I had at that point. He has a lot of movement on his pitches, but they're so slow that you'll end up hitting batters on half of the breaking balls you throw them.

Waluigi's pitching reminds me of Barry Zito. Both are lefties and both have great curveballs and both don't throw very hard.

Some personal experience: Magikoopa is strong and extremely toxic Waluigi has problems sometimes with curving the ball Paragoomba can be decent Power hitters get an honourable mention since putting them in to face 1-2 hitters can sometimes work out (dk, rool)

Amazing list! I agree with most of the placements as my list is: 10. Luigi 9. Donkey Kong 8. Toadsworth 7. Baby Peach 6. King Boo 5. Boo 4. Magikoopa 3. Peach 2. Waluigi 1. Daisy Honorable mentions are Baby Luigi, Goomba, Mario, Boomerang Bro and Baby Daisy. Great video and excited to see a Top 10 batter video. Hope to see Bro's and Piantas to be Top 5 in that vid as those characters hit dingers easily.

against real players, baby peach is a great pitcher but against computers she is imo the worst player in the game. your pitchers stats mean pretty much nothing to the computer and since baby peach gets tired quickly, she’s simply a bad pitcher. on the field she has a quick throw but is very weak if there is not chemistry. she also doesn’t have great speed and can’t hit so she is pretty much useless against computers. example: one time i out her in as pitcher, she threw one pitch he batter hit a bomb to left field and she was fatigued already. she threw one freaking pitch and already tired.

I have a question, as a noob who's only been playing for about 10 years, what does stamina actually do? Every time I play with somebody else, I get asked this question all the time. And my answer is always "I don't know". Could you elaborate a bit?

I assume you mean when a pitcher gets tired. They just lose some of the curve on their pitches, so they become easier to hit. Some have better stamina than others, you can check out those stats in the stats table (linked in some of our recent stats videos)

I honestly have to disagree. This would be my list in order from #1 to #10. Boo, King Boo, Magikoopa, Toadsworth, Blooper, Baby Peach, Waluigi, DK, Hammer Bro, Mario This is just my opinion, and I really dont think Peach is as good as you guys say she is. Maybe it's because I've only used Nunchuck playing this game, I don't know.
