I live in copan until I was 9yrs old . My best childhood memories are there . People have a bad concept of Honduras . But copan is a peaceful place and I never felt like my life was endanger when I was living there ! Can’t wait to go back ! 🇭🇳

I enjoy your Honduras video’s very much. We will go there in february next year. Didn’t you vet ill from the icecubes, salads with vegetables cleaned in tap water etc.?

Marjolein van Ammers Hi, thank you! I’m sure you’ll have a great time, it’s an amazing place. No I only really got sick once from street food in the 2+ months I’ve traveled in Honduras. They don’t really eat raw veggies there, and I wouldn’t drink ice at restaurants. Just make sure to drink bottled water and pass on ice, and if you eat street food make sure it’s cooked and hot. Have a great trip!

@@JacobysJourneys the only places I've been to in Latin America is Cuba and Peru. Cuba was amazing, especially a town called Trinidad. Its a very historic Spanish colonial place with very well preserved buildings from I think the 16th century. But it might be harder for you to get to being a US citizen?

Actually I forgot that I went to Mexico as well lol. But only Mexico City...i think seeing the Mayan buildings in Cancun would be more interesting, although in a different way.
