All compilations of belgium forget the city of ypres(ieper),called the city of war😢because it was the most important city of world war 1 whit the stunning cloth hall(lakenhalle)with the war museum,menin gate(menenpoort) and the city walls.its a shame.i'm from furnes(veurne).i very small city but with beautiful architecture and towers

Bruges is undeniably a gem and not just for tourists: as a local, I've visited Bruges countless times without ever growing tired of it. That being said, it's not central enough to serve as a base for the whole of Belgium (it would be a 2 hour train ride to Liège or Dinant, for example, not to mention the Ardenne region). If you want an alternative to Brussels (which is the geographical centre of the kingdom), Ghent, Mechlin or Leuven can be handy and practical bases.

As a Belgian I wouldn't recommend Leuven, Tournai or Mons. And in the southern part of the country there is a lot of beautiful nature and landscapes you didn"t mention.

1) At 09:08, why on earth do you display a picture of Trier cathedral as part of the section devoted to Tournai?! Trier is in Germany, not in Belgium (it used to be the capital of Gallia Belgica, granted - but that was in Roman times !). What a terrible piece of crap! 2) The city that you refer to as "Mechelen" is called "Mechlin" in English. If you decide to make this video in English, speak proper English please. As a conclusion, Belgium is a great, vastly underrated country, granted - but your video contains two glaring errors.
