Just happens to be the town of my birth during 1938 & i have the distinction of being the only Reading boy in my family. Caversham Court is a good o place to visit & was part of my playground as a youngster. St Peters Church, right on it's doorstep is where I went to Sunday School. A few minutes from where I spent the first 28 years of life is Caversham Bridge & back then we crossed from Berkshire into Oxfordshire. Not sure if that is valid these days. Just along, walking to Reading Bridge you can find De Montfort Island, you know, relates to Simon De Montfort, centuries back. It's a pretty fair area you blokes. Just an accident of birth because my parents moved there from Woking, Surrey, just before the war broke out. Bugger me, hope I wasn't the cause. Lol.

This was a very interesting video ! I lived for about 60 years in Reading , Pennsylvania which is named after Reading , England ! One correction , it is pronounced like the color Red .

Please please when narrating a video do your research and pronounce things correctly. It's Reading (pronounced Redding) not Reading (as in reading a book).

I'm a born and bred Redding Ight (Readingight) now living in North Queensland Australia! Ostreleah 🤣 for God sake I hate how people mis pronounce stuff, please do your research!!! 😭 Ok! It's pronounced REDDING! Yes I know that's how it should be spelt! But it isn't, Redding Redding Redding! And Cave ershum??? It Cav er sham! Caversham! And BTW I now live in Os straylia! Not As treliah! 😂 Best Regards 🤣
