I feel like tedious is a good way to describe sound design and music production most of the time
@CYB3RC0RP4 ай бұрын
@@G00s7-i3x I don't disagree but I was talking more about his way of speaking, not his process or whatever. I guess I can't hold being awkward against him, but the fact that he already seems to have enough trouble articulating himself combined with apparently not having anything all that interesting to present for this makes it difficult to watch for me.
@roryswann53674 ай бұрын
@@CYB3RC0RP wow surprised by this comment. I think he’s super articulate
@CYB3RC0RP4 ай бұрын
@@roryswann5367 I definitely don't want to convince you otherwise, I really like the guy and I mean he's certainly intelligent, but just to clarify what I meant, he just comes across as really timid, like it stands out to me how much he shoves words like "sorta" and "kinda" into his sentences as if he's nervous to commit to what he's saying. For me personally by the end of the video I felt like I had heard a lot of awkward rambling and didn't really come away with enough new insights to match. Maybe I'm just holding him to unfair standards because I consider him such a pioneer, so it's weird when it turns out he's just a normal guy trying to find something interesting to say about what plugins he used in a project file on his laptop lol

ag uses synplant??? NOOOOOOOOOOO AG
@zechs50794 ай бұрын
Why is that a problem
@assasinofpapers4 ай бұрын
if its because of ai you should reconsider because synplant is a good use of ai
@gray.crawford4 ай бұрын
Yeah this is a bad take, the neural network Synplant is using is only twisting all the knobs of Synplant’s own audio synthesizer, comparing the initial results to the provided sample, then twisting the knobs again to see if it can converge on some parameter set that hones in most closely to the provided sample. It has nothing to do with generative AI systems that are trained on huge corpuses of music. It’s only doing gradient descent in the parameter space of Synplant’s internal synthesizer. Check the midpoint ish of this video for an explanation. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qH-ac2uCir5mjbc
