As stated below, 'Berkeley' footage had building with prominent UCLA sign on it. Same flag football footage used for multiple schools. U of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is not on the shore of Lake Michigan and is not within visual range of the Loop. This is footage of the University of Chicago. Champaign is 135 miles south of Chicago. Sloppy, sloppy work. I am sure if I was more familiar with these campuses I would have could have spotted more blatant errors.

I'm guessing you weren't necessarily ranking these universities by your presenting them numerically; otherwise, UCLA should have been ranked near the top if not first -- but the other universities you mentioned are doubtlessly excellent. Additionally, for the incoming freshmen class for the 2022-23 academic year, UCLA became effectively -- depending on the real acceptance rates of the military academies -- the first public university to have < 10% acceptance rate with an 8.6% AR. And this is based on the fact that the University has had the most applications for freshmen spots of all universities within the US for many years. Further, UCLA generally makes the list of top-10 "Dream Colleges," which are otherwise private colleges which exclusively make the list.

the only reason UCLA and Cal have the acceptance rates they do is bc 100% of the applicants can check a box as to which UCs they wish to apply. it's a bullshit number and doesn't reflect true interest.

@@RobertMJohnson If you would, tell me what university's honor you're defending, because I'm guessing that the school you pledge to defend has an acceptance rate > 30%. Here are some more numbers for you wrt applications UCLA had for the incoming class of 2022: CA Res 91,544 61.1% OOS 34,627 23.1% Int'l. 23,608 15.8% Total 149,779 100.0% If any of these cohorts would show that there is a superfluous element of applicants who don't necessarily have a desire to attend the University, it would be the oos (out-of-state) applicants along with the Internationals, but yet 39% of those who applied to UCLA in that year would be non-resident, full-tuition payers. As I stated, UCLA has made Princeton's Review of "Dream Colleges," list and to make this list there has to be a national interest in attending a university, when many public universities are more regional. So tell me, what university are you attempting to defend?

And if you honestly think Berkeley is all that great, I invite you to go to youtube and watch that Berkeley law professor and the exchange she had with Senator Hawley. If THAT doesn't reveal (to you) just what garbage they're allowing to teach there, then you need to do an inventory of yourself... The "brilliant" lady in question is Khiara Bridges, btw.

That's not true. UCB & UCLA are tied for 1st but let's face it, Berkeley is far more prestigious worldwide than UCLA. Berkeley has generated more Nobel laureates than any other school except Harvard. Just check how many Nobel laureates have been affiliated with Berkeley since 2010. More than any other university.
