Technically not a Finn and Rachel moment, but I love when Finn comes out of the bathroom after flying to New York to best up Brody. While violence isn't the answer, I love that moment. And he kicks a chair, classic Finn.

Rachel Monroe true that he should have allowed Rachel closure by actually having Brody be able to say goodbye, I mean more the fact that he flew to New York to protect her.

The writers choose to push Brody under the bus to make Finn look good and take away any chance for Rachel agency again. If they wanted that relationship to end they could have given Rachel some growth too to have her break up with Brody not because of his lying/escort but because she knew it was wrong to string him along because she was still in love with Finn. They did this a lot they framed Finn as the hero and this once strong independent Rachel as the wrong one and in need of confidence boost and protection.

I do think it could have certainly been better, but I like the part that he came to her defense (although I forgot future wife, that is just weird). I do wish that Brody and Rachel got a proper ending where they broke up, not just that Brody left. I'm more just thinking that Finn comes to defend her, because he still loves her.

I am 66 years old and I loved Glee. I have bought the dvds 3 times and will need to buy them again. Cory dying broke my heart for Lea. It’s the music and the dancing. Oh how wonderful it would have been for Fin and Rachel married while she was carrying Kurt’ baby. Just to know they were together.

stéphanie lorraine finchel is one of THE unhealthiest relationships on glee. i mean when they first started dating finn is already “pretending to be listening to her” and rachel treats finn like he’s her cheerleader literally the whole time. they are an extremely mediocre, straight idea of a relationship. they remind me of the couples who got married right after high school and then divorced short after. not to mention finn is one of the biggest cheaters on the show so your point is moot. i liked cory and lea but they could never make me feel it as finchel. the finn and rachel characters always became 10x more dislikable when they were together than when they were apart.

Umm well when they first kissed, Finn was still with Quinn, so Finn actually cheated on Quinn with Rachel. He may have not cheated on her (and obviously Quinn cheated on him first) but it's still wrong and starting a relationship by cheating on someone isn't very healthy or even romantic.

Rachel Monroe there is no “before finn” for rachel. they technically started that garbage fire in the second ep. and it was a messy start already. i hate rachel and like finn about 30% of the time but i always thought when they came together they just made each other worse. it seemed like the only reason they even wanted to be together was because they felt like they should?

But my point is valid we saw a strong yet vulnerable girl who besides being bullied was going for her dream the dream she had before Finn. So we had a good sense of how Rachel was before glee and how Finn was too. And while I liked Rachel with Jesse more I see why Finn and Rachel were together. Finn felt stuck in his world and got was bored with doing what was expected. He saw Rachel and her drive and her will to press through even when bullied. Rachel wanted to be liked and Finn in glee world was likeable. And when that guy liked her she felt validated. Plus they shared the club and singing so that is a reason. That said for HS relationship it made sense enough but I think Jesse was a much better choice for Rachel. I never got how Finchel fans never seemed to get how they only got engaged out of desperation and being scared aobut their futures.

To me, it is a testament to the character that love her or "hate" she was always talked about. Even if she was given less like in season 4 people called it the Rachel Berry show. But I reserve hate for people who shoot up old Jewish people not fictional characters.
