so what about infinite timereaver? been out for a very very VERY long time and only Attained by 4% of profiles yet most of these mounts 7-13% of people have em drops rate's so low people don't know it's official rate ( probably below 1% )

Rarity definetely means amazing imo. Its rare for following reasons: - They were extremely hard to obtain at current content, so they removed it before it gets easy to obtain. - They required alot of gold for the players to obtain in an economy where there were VERY few ways to make gold (Old School Rides). Everything in Vanilla costed gold. Raiding, potions, flasks, repair. You literally had to work for your money instead of buying all this crap today to get gold. If you combine these 2 for the rarity of mounts, you know the guy has used all his blood, sweat and tears to obtain these unobtainable mounts. That is dedication, ambition, effort and deserves respect. That's whats amazing about these mounts. Not about how they look. And tbh, even if they are old content they still look better than majority of the mounts we have in modern WoW anyway. Atleast from my perspective. It's because they are unique that they also stand out alot more.

I agree. The Original Oldschool Epic mounts are the rarest mounts in WoW. Many people who have em are inactive now or quit the game, and ofc you could also trade them for a new armored mount, wich majority of the playerbase did back then. Also you had to have played the game before Patch 1.4, literally on release day to even be able to afford one for 1k gold. Before 1.4, there werent many servers out and WoW's population wasn't even above 1 million players I dare say. The game was only out for EU and NA back then. And ofc since EU had a later release date than NA, these mounts are much more rare to find in EU than NA. Many people don't know the rarity of these mounts nor value of them, and if you ever want to have a shot of seeing one, NA is your best chance. And for the Black Qiraji Battle Tank, if we only count level 60 Scarab Lords who have done it current content (1.9), its by far the rarest mount ingame. Unfortunately that didnt happen, and so the OSR take the cake for rarest mounts in the game. And ofc you have The Gladiator mounts, however their rarity is also in the fact that they can only be used by the character who obtained it. These around account-wide.

I believe the Wild Gladiator's Felblood Gronnling to be the rarest Gladiator mount aswell as its associated r1 title. It was during s2 WoD and last shorter than most seasons, and this was all during a time where the playerbase quit or took a big break of the game. Very few who got it.

Ill share some of my knowledge into the Old School Epic mounts: From rarest to most common one: 1. Red Wolf (not shown on any rarity based website) 2. Mottled Red Raptor (not shown on any rarity based website) 3. Green Kodo (not shown on any rarity based website) 4. Teal Kodo (only shown on guildox) 5. Ivory Raptor (only shown on guildox) 6. Frost Ram (shown on all rarity websites) 7. Black Ram (shown on all rarity websites) 8. Blue Mechanostrider Mod A (shown on all rarity websites) 9. White Mechanostrider B (shown on all rarity websites) 10. Arctic Wolf (shown on all rarity websites) 11. Ancient Frostsaber (shown on all rarity websites) 12. Palomino (shown on all rarity websites) 13. Black Nightsaber (shown on all rarity websites) 14. White Stallion (shown on all rarity websites. My guess is if you combine all these mounts into 1 achievement wich is: Old School Ride, you are looking at a total of 0.15-0.20% Old School Ride achievements spread across all 14 of them, meaning each individual mount here is as atleast as low as 0.014% owned by the playerbase. Note: also they are much, much more rarer in EU then in the US. Reason being is, WoW was released earlier in the US then EU. Time period of obtaining one of these mounts from each region before patch 1.4 hit worldwide: US estimate: 23 weeks to buy an Old School Ride EU estimate: 12 weeks to buy an Old School Ride There is a significant difference here as you can see. The probability of owning an Old School Ride as an EU player compared to an US player is like 50% less...meaning *halving the rarity in the EU region* YES, halved! That's how (extra) exceptionally rare they are in EU. I used Guildox, Worldofwargraphs, Wowrarity, Wowhead comments and the source: www.mmo-champion.com/threads/1052244-Dragon-Soul-Progression-Mount-Statistics-Stars-Heroic-Spine-of-Deathwing-Video?p=14814909&viewfull=1#post14814909 This list is from 2011, and the Frost Ram is the rarest on there, however, in addition of the first 3 mounts not appearing on any rarity based website, they also don't show up on the Wowarmory database. Same with Ivory Raptor and Teal Kodo, however these 2 do show up on Guildox somehow so I made them a lower rank then the other first 3. Pretty sure my list is 95% accurate. If the Scarab Lord mount was only available during the Vanilla era, then it would probably still not reach #1 and i'd put it at like #3 or #4 on the list. #4 being owned by like only 30-35 people across US and EU and #3 being owned by like 25-30 across US and EU that are still *actively playing* In comparison I believe the #1 rarest mount: Red Wolf, is only owned by like a dozen of the playerbase (12 players or 15 players MAXIMUM) that are still *actively playing* across US and EU. The description even added by Blizzard says: *''Almost none remain in the whole of Azeroth; only the most experienced will have seen one''* It resembles the Timber Wolf greatly, but the Red Wolf is darker in color and truly red. The Timber Wolf is more lighter and has a brown/gray ish color. If players can even spot one, you are truly truly experienced in my books. Even if it might not be the rarest by then (Black Qiraji Battle Tank), it is still the most prestigious mount ingame being legendary, unique, the effort and dedication it took, the lore, and having it's own achievement and title attached.

LeystTV Yep. If you only count level 60 Scarab Lords than it's the rarest mount ingame ever to be implemented. The Old School Rides consist of 14 mounts. Gladiator Mounts consist of 24 seasons or something. The Black Tank is a unique reward. So if you combine 14 old school rides or 24 gladiator mounts compared to "one" black tank, there is a big difference :D. Despite the new realm Scarab Lord tho it is still owned by less than 0% of the playerbase. On Wowrarity.com its listed at 0.01%.

I think its very hard to be accurate with the % :D but i do get you point. I used this website to look at the rarity www.worldofwargraphs.com/global-stats/mounts They do however only look at lvl 110 accounts.

World ofwargraphs can be very inaccurate. The Black Tank is pretty high on the standard mount list there, while the achievement is the rarest mount achievement of all mount achievements 99% of the time.

Actually the mount you get from alani is probs alot rarer then the one you get from The Sha Of Anger.. Since you need to obtain 10 skyshards which have about 0.1% drop chance from most lvl 90 mobs in the vale of eternal blossoms so its really rare

Rarity is not how many people have a mount. Its the dropchance. And the rarest dropchance ingame have the heavenly onyx cloud serpent.

Thanks for the comment! I have to disagree with you there, I do get what you mean :) "Top 10 rareste world of warcraft mounts", it's not about the drop chance why? Because the video is about the rarest mounts in-game. Let's take the Crusader's white warhorse as an example, why is it rare? Because it was hard to obtain eventho it was 100% same goes for the TGC mounts etc. So the rarest mount's in-game means that not a lot people has them, yes it could be due to the drop rate however it could be due to other reasons as well which I do mention in the video :)! The video is not about drop-chance but rarity. Hope that made sense 😀😀

The player that the mount at #0 attempted to sell his account and blizzard found out and removed it Also trial of the grand crusader came out after ulduar, not before it As for the epic mounts at #1 there's no way more people have more bugs than them

I know it was removed :) And yes that is correct, trail of the grand crusader was before icc so after ulduar my bad :) The rarity was based of a database that distributes the mounts against the percentage of players owning them. The original epic mounts had no armor, when blizzard introduced the mounts with armor people turned them in which a lot of people did. Scarab mounts were duped hence why a lot of people have it now :)

LeystTV Nah. You highly overestimate the amount of people who got it at 80. It was only alot by a level 60 current content standard. Very few 60s have it. But when you talk about the whole playerbase with millions of players, you are still talking about a 0% owned mount. Thats not alot.

Dont get my wrong the mount is still somewhere at 0.xxx% but "a lot" of people did dupe it. A second dupe happend a few years back and a lot of people got rare mounts. I know of 2x dupes that happend in WoW, maybe "a lot" were misguiding, but when you talk about a mount that was supposed to be ultra rare and be the only legendary mount in-game than it is a lot :) I bet 50%+ of the scarab mounts you see in-game these days are duped.
