@• Haha yes, fair enough. The universe is made with intent because of the fine-tuning of it. It's fine-tuned to support the mechanics of life. There is no rule that an electron has to exist, or a proton has to exist, or that gold has to have the properties of metal. On the flip side, the idea that something can come from nothing is preposterous and requires just as much faith to believe as one claims you need to have to believe in a creator. Or the religious belief that consciousness is just an illusion that sits on top of a chain reaction of mechanical processes. There is a chain reaction of mechanical processes, but quantum theory has already shown us that consciousness is not a result of this but instead is affected BY it. The chemical universe merely acts as a filter through which consciousness is able to experience and express itself.

Another question that is raised in the problematic Atheistic worldview (one among *many*) is how does finite matter (i.e. a human being to an Atheist) have access to objectivity? Finite matter can't have access to any form of objectivity, because that's self refuting. If finite matter can claim to have knowledge of objectivity, then they're claiming to have access to universal states of affairs. All they can do here is push the problem back a step, because if they're honest the logical follow up is that they must claim to have no knowledge of anything objective.

Also something to add, what explosion in lived life experience has ever created anything? In my experience any "big bang" has resulted in utter destruction, but surely this explosion billions of years ago that no one has observed created all life as we know it... riiiiight...

This is why you are not an atheist the same reasons why i am not. I have also debated with lots of atheists over the years. They do not give any good reasons to be one, or to leave faith in Christ. The opposite tends to happen, once you get serious in the debate the atheist draws out a hypothetical superficial belief in God, and then shuns it.

Comment for a 3 year old video lol I adressed an atheist with the book of ecclesiastes I got him with the argument that if he things all things are meaningless then he thinks their is nothing beyond human consciousness and cognitive thought, Remember Solomon says all is vanity, all is meaningless and repetitive what is done shall be done again their is nothing new under the sun. I pointed to all forms of philosophy I knew, the only argument he responded to positively was the scriptures, yet he didn't want to adress the issue of spiritual blindness not being born again and seeing the light for himself it was like he feared being wrong. The atheist point is basically nothing is true everything permitted except God you have to prove that! Well satan has his puppets just like God has servants too, many of them won't admit they're just anti everything and rebels without a cause and they need to face the truth adress the big question and just talk it out with God and make peace with him. Many have near death experiences before then. My response wasn't logical or emotional but reasonable I told this guy "I can't explain to someone that's blind. Why would I risk my eternity just to prove God is real when it would just harden your heart more?" Well skepticism has definitely shown us that it's serving destruction they literally exist because they think when babylon crumbles and the chips are down they're going to be made the new priests of the new system, if they studied the history of Russia and saw what happens to the political activists and prostitutes for social justice and Marxism, they'd abandon it and attack the puppet masters but by then it's too late. Sadly the devil doesn't keep promises, and neither does this world keep anything sacred. They'll be lined up against the wall and shot along with homosexuals Trans activists etc. Back to the atheist I spoke to, I told him what he would do to a Nihilist like Kefka from final fantasy 6 he said he would kill him. He figured out the logical end for skepticism and atheism, but doesn't see it, Unfortunately. The argument never ends for these types they have to evolve like nietzsche said or be destroyed by their own emptiness and despair. I'm not an atheist because I'm not blind, I've seen the light and God's truth is brighter then all the lies of this world. Facing the truth that life is more then just Material gain. My best life is in eternity when I go home to be with God forever and ever.

An established mindset is a spiritual remembrance, it comes from personal beliefs and connection to the Most High. Jesus saves and supports those who wants Him.

So in other words, you believe God because you want God to exist, since otherwise, it would not be fair. Not really an argument.
@JoeHinojosa-ph8yw2 ай бұрын
@@lucianmacandrew1001 Oh yes I DO WANT ULTIMATE JUSTICE TO PREVAIL by an Omnipotent, Omnibenevolent Agent ie God. But this universal ideal maybe hard wired into our brains . As a Christian mystic I've had many transcendent experiences. Psychologically these could be explained away as the power of the mind to contrive visions of deity. But not all experiences. One time to prevent a car accident my car was stopped and went backwards all by itself. I didn't touch anything. Hard to attribute it to just psychological self manifestation. I'm not arguing with you. Maybe I'm arguing to myself because I am the only witness.
@lucianmacandrew10012 ай бұрын
@@JoeHinojosa-ph8yw No, but you could attribute it to something being wrong with your car. There are many examples on COPS of cars starting to drive by themselves. My father drove of the road, out of the forests came 4 trolls, and lifted the car out of the forest. Now, he know what he saw, but he still does not believe in trolls, he believe there must have been a natural explanation.

(Relativism, strictly reductive materialism, militant atheism or philosophical naturalism): “The belief that there was “nothing”, and nothing didn’t really mean “nothing” as there was no such thing as meaning, and then nothing much happened to nothing except nothing and then “nothing” or the blind, mindless, ultimately meaningless accidental arrangement of “something” suddenly magically exploded for no reason whatsoever, creating everything, and then a bunch of everything suddenly accidentally rearranged itself -- definitely for no reason whatsoever -- into self replicating bits which then turned into something that meant everything. But ultimately it didn’t really mean everything or anything as everything is ultimately meaningless.” (Atheism) And they mock other peoples beliefs!!

In the same way that a rabbit cannot magically appear out of nowhere from a magician's hat, so likewise the universe. *_Something_* cannot come from nothing. This logic or form of reasoning is accessible to everyone imho. Or at least to me. It's a good enough reason to believe in God. Just saying...

The transcendental argument: We have a module (possibly more than one) that recognizes the self and thereby perpetuates it. The self is a biopsychosocial construct. Logic is axiomatic, based on intuition that formed because they improve our survival odds in our evolutionary past. Given those rules certain things follow. Reality may not even at its core abide them, but the world we live in does so we formed a set of logical intuitions that do. Invoking God is just an appeal to magic. That it's harder (or even impossible in the OP's view) to rationally justify claims of knowledge, moral prescriptions or prohibitions is merely an appeal to consequences. Not claiming absolutes does not strip us of the means of saying, for example, charity is morally preferable to recreational homicide. And the arguments in support of charity are objectively superior to arguments for the later moral prescription.
