Hi Jay, I am a Muslim. Would you like to discuss famous Muslim figures (i.e. Muhammad Hijab, Shaykh Omar Farook, Adnan Rashid), I can set you up in formal discussion/debate. How to get in contact?

Unfortunately, Jay , I feel sad for you because you are missing out on the only true religion of Earth. If Allah decided to split himself into 3 parts (astagfirullah), then there's theretically nothing stopping Him from splitting into a 100 parts. But He chose to stop at 3? Allah doesn't need parts. 7:18 Allah is not only merciful, He's the Most merciful, the Most Just. Animals or human beings are not the Most Merciful or the Most Just. They can be merciful or just, but not the Most Merciful, Most Just. Also, a creature great in mercy may not be great in justice. But Allah has all of these attributes together, in the maxed out stats. This is how Allah distinguishes Himself from the living things. You may know about mercy, but you dont have any idea of what is like to be the Most Merciful, Most Just. So, I see no contradictions in Islam here. The multiplicity of names all refer to the same being, and all are functioning at the same time and are doing the same things and have the same purpose. When Allah is punishing someone, it means the Most Just is punishing someone. At the same time, the most merciful is also punishing the same person. But When Christians say Jesus died for their sins, they never say that the Father died for their sins. So, when using the 99 names of Allah, we can easily switch between the names at the same sentence and still make perfect sense. But we cannot say the same thing about Jesus. For exaample, in the Bible, it says that Jesus fell on his face and prayed to Father. Now, replace Jesus with Father, it comes as Father fell to his face and prayed to Father (astagfirullah), it doesnt make any sense. 9:00 what you say actually supports Muslims. The commandments in Torah talk about unitarian God. So, Jesus talked about unitarian God. 11:00 So Jay understands what was actually in those texts even though the original version of Torah and Bible is lost? How did Jay get hold of the original versions? Jay needs to answer this. 13:23 The law was not corrupted as Allah sent the books originally. It was corrupted by people as they passed along the books from one generation to another . Which is why you dont have the original versions of Bible and Torah anymore. Which is also why the words in the Bible have changed over the years. 13:34 You have a valid question. Here's how Al-Qur'an counteracts this. Qur'an is a work of miracle. Amongst its many miracles, It has told about many prophesies, most of which have come true. The remaining prophesies that have yet to come true are those that pertain to the future. It is a literary miracle. Science has not been able to disprove Quran. 80% of what Qur'an says has already been proven by science. The remaining 20% is neither proven nor disproven due to lack of scientific evidence. So, by logical induction , it falls into place that the remaining 20% is also true. Compare this with the scientific inaccuracies in the Bible. So, by going with that logic, Muslims only take those portions of the Bible and Torah to be accurate which agree with the Qur'an. 17:30 Now you're just confusing me. I've never heard of any Muslim viewing Quran as a reincarnation. The word of God is eternal in the sense that it will hold true forever. However, this then brings into question how long is eternal? Remember that God created time, so God came before time. So, us humans trying to wrap our head around the concept of eternality is hard for us. So, the word of God cannot be co-eternal with God. The word was passed from God to Muhammad (pbuh) via angel Gabriel. The words were finally put to paper, to resulting in Al-Qur'an. It's as simple as that. Trying to find double meaning will confuse everyone. And when you try to find double meaning in these things, you also damage the original Bible and Torah which Allah (swt) sent to the world, because those were also words of God. So your last point, though a thought-provoking question, is applicable to all the divine books.

The problem is your poor understanding of Islam and bible lemme address your best arguments against Islam. 1. Tanzih and God still having attributes which we find in creation. So you didn't actually understand tanzih. We both Ashari Maturidi don't say Allah being Merciful means the same thing as mercy. The key point is *we don't actually know the reality of those attributes so they are not anything which we know* and we know some of the effects of those attributes rather than saying only these are its effects, that's almost in every basic aqeedah text just try reading. 2. The worship and temple rituals. You even don't have good grip on bible. Deuteronomy 13 talks about concept of God which is ilm al Tawhid or theology in English. It's way different from law or jurisprudence. So we can have different law not different understanding of God. Interestingly you missed the point- Prophets before Moses didn't have this same temple rituals and worships so if we use your logic Moses got something which previous Prophets didn't so is he a true Prophet or not??? And more interesting is it was Moses who brought this whole law containing temple rituals and Deuteronomy 18 18 actually talks about a future Prophet who will be like Moses so a new Prophet is going to bring a new law and abrogating the previous law the same way Moses did. Now either you name the Prophet who brought new law or I'm telling you it's Prophet Muhammad (salallahu alaihi wa aalihi wa sallam) so don't fool ppl by using a verse which talks about understanding of God and using it as if it was talking about law. 3. Quran never said Torah was not corrupted stop lying 2:79 Therefore woe is to those who write the Book with their hands; and they then claim, "This is from Allah" in order to gain an abject (worldly) price for it; therefore woe to them for **what their hands have written**, and woe to them for what they earn with it. The Arabic word in the second part of the verse is كتبت which is a past tense meaning it's talking about the textual corruption which they did in the past. 4. For diety of Christ I'll be very precise- none of the earliest Christians believed he was God that's consensus of all the historians and secular New testament scholars. The earliest Christians were Jewish converts who didn't believe in God Messiah. And for the Old Testament passages like the angel of the Lord so the thing is ancient jews never had same understanding of those passages as you and now you ppl developed a new understanding of God which ancient Israelites never had so Deuteronomy 13:1-5 actually disprove you completely. 5. Iconography- that was a terrible argument. Look at our classical mosques and monuments like Taj Mahal, Badshahi Masjid etc. You are easy to refute.

@@LadyMariaMy friend, think logically. 1. If He is the one one doing the nurturing, then He is the one doing the work. Right? Shouldn't you be the one to do the work to be able to keep the free gift? 2. "It is what happens if you walk away." Why will you walk away 'from' a free gift? You are ignoring the fact that what makes something truly free is that you get to walk away 'with' the free gift. Notice the difference between "with the free gift " and "from the free gift"? *If you have to show your loyalty to the gifter, then it's a bribe, not a free gift.* 3. @@Platonism474 Abdul, All of what you have said is just your opinion. Answer me on this. Allah the Muslim god has just one prophet, an illiterate prophet called Mohama. (SAWS, SAWS) Allah has no prophet other than Mohama. Allah popped up in the 6th century in Arabia out of nowhere. How than can he be God ? Where are the uncorrupted writings of the prophets, the so called original message of Allah ? If Allah is indeed God, why is there no record of the uncorrupted writings of the prophets, that Allah supposedly sent ? That the Bible is corrupted, is a lie fabricated by Muslims, to cover up for the fact that Allah has only one illiterate prophet Mohama. If the Jews inserted the name of Issac, what was Allah doing ? Was he busy looking for a wife ? Where are Allah's original uncorrupted writings ? if Allah could not protect and preserve his word from corruption by the Jews and Christians, that he is impotent , and cannot be the creator or sustainer of this universe. Allah sending his prophets was a vain exercise by a helpless god. All of God's word is Eternal and not for a specific period of time. as Allah or his camel doctor Zakir Naik claims. If he could perfectly preserve the Quran, why was he not able to preserve the writings of the prophets ? If he says the Torah and the Gospels were for a specific period period of time, than the same reasoning could be applied to the Quran, that it was only for his illiterate prophet and Arabs of the 6th century. By this reasoning, it is clear that Allah is a illegitimate god, and a deceiver and a liar and he cannot be the creator or sustainer of this universe.

Muslims believe in real attributes. Jay Dyer has no knowledge in Islamic theology. We confirm real attributes. Your comment is a red herring. Your argument is weak. Christians claim the sacrifice is the greatest act of love. This love includes ‘justice and mercy’. Your definition of the act of love includes justice and mercy. Are the persons just and merciful to eachother? If you reject that mercy and justice is in the definition of love. You should stop calling the sacrifice an act of love. You should define love as a feeling. If you define it as a feeling. God can love himself. You are incoherent. It’s a cheap emotional argument. The attribute of love is arbitrarily chosen only for emotions. What about his wrath? Does he need to express his wrath eternally to be complete? Or you just pick and choose and appeal to emotions?
@patrick953
@patrick953 Жыл бұрын
@@tariqthebiblicalscholar5865 You are also incoherent. The concept of an Omni creator which is eternal and Immutable is stupid and nonsensical. If your God had the potential for wrath or Mercy etc but was only able to actualise it once creation came into existence, then he has changed and is not Immutable. He has moved from point A (potentiality) to point B (actuality). There has to be time for there to be change, without time there is no point A or point B. If your God moved from point A to point B, then he is subject to time and change just like his creation. It is all nonsense, how can God have speech? Does he have vocal cords? Speech is a human mode of communication, why can't your God communicate in a superior way (perhaps telepathically). Why does he need to write stupid books and then go to sleep and allow them to be lost or corrupted? Why does your God have a throne? Does he have buttocks? A throne is a Chair in which humans place their buttocks to rest, so if your God has a throne, does he also have a table? All of the above are things that are unique to the human Physiology, so why does your God have them? The simple answer is that your God is a fabrication of the human mind, just like all the other Gods which you laugh at and criticize. Your God intends to communicate with humans, but chooses a very poor and inefficient way to communicate. And to top if off, he communicates stupid tales like Suleiman & the talking ants, Moses & and a Samaritan in the Bronze age, Dhul Qarnain & the fairy-tale wall and Zombies that have never been found till today, the fabricated Christian tale of the sleepers of the cave etc. In addition to these stupidities, he also allows his so called prophets to commit abominations like child marriage (under 10's, not even up to double digits in age), Slavery (including for sex), in-breeding (Cousin Marriages), Genital mutilation (Both male and female) etc. How about you use that your brain to critique your own fake religion just as you do with others, so that you may free your mind from madness.

So God can never be merciful, gracious, because grace is not justice and therefore is wrong! A holy God can only be holy if he Never does wrong !! So Fact is without Jesus his SACRIFICE out of love for us we would all be lost! Only YHWH is not lying when he says he is HOLY and merciful! Who is YHWH equal? Exactly no one!! JESUS gave himself as a sin offering !! A pure life for a life !! Because we have to be holy = without guilt otherwise God will judge us fair and just !! I started to get into Islam, I was in love with the concept of discipline and community, having a religion so devotional that you would need to think about it every day all the time just to do it correctly, some of the wisdom of the clerics and the mystery drew me in. I started to read the Quran and immediately it just seemed off. Like this gut instinct that I never got from the Bible. Even when the Bible is at its wackiest or most arcane parts, there is still some sort of logic about why it’s there, and there is still a discussion to be had throughout the ages about that section in context, sometimes those are the best discussions. But the straw that broke the camels back was the part where Muhammad adds something that was so obviously not from God, so obviously human, that the whole entire thing just fell like a house of cards, and it changed the lens I saw the entire religion through, everything became clear and it all looked warped, ugly, and I could see how it could actually be a religion created by the Devil. The devils main mission is to lead us to our death without God. Islam through a combination of fear and jihad make for a factory of slaves for the devil. Our God wants us to be his children, their God wants them to be his slaves. The part I read that changed everything was Sura Al Azahb 33:53. It’s literally the type of thing I would want to write if a whole tribe thought I was their only landline to God. But even I would think to myself “no, that’s too obvious and it will give this away”…. So there’s no way I’m following a religion made by a guy who’s dumber than I am. End of story

I am new to Christianity and have been learning the Bible as diligently as I can, and diving into the history and the early church and the philosophy and all that. One of the reasons (though a minor one) is so that I might be able to read through the Quran and see connections or lack thereof, to see more for myself what people are speaking of. I just read the “verse” (not sure if that is what they are called) you pointed out. What?!? I don’t understand how this can be in a holy book. Is there a context I am missing? I read the “chapter” prior and after as well as the whole chapter this verse was in and I am just stunned. Just like you said, it is way too human. Is it because in English it comes across weird? Maybe the culture of that time it made sense to speak like this even from “god”? Do you have any charitable thoughts on how this verse could possibly be seen as anything but immature and out of place?

I'm not a Muslim for one reason. Islam is not a religion; it's a cult. But I have six basic reasons for this supposition. I was a Pagan for some 22 years, and for about 3 years of that time, I was in a cult myself. I found out that cults have six basic characteristics, four of them are the core characteristics of cults, and the last two I call "hard core" characteristics of cults. The Four Core Characteristics of Cults Core Characteristic One - Altered States of Consciousness All cults use repetition to induce a hypnotically receptive state, emphasizing one of the senses, usually that of sound. So this repetition can include chanting, drumming, or some types of repetitive music. Regarding Islam, the mandatory chanting Muslims are required to perform some three to five times per day uses the auditory method of inducing trance, that is, a hypnotically receptive state. Islam also uses a physical method of repetition to induce trance in its Sufi, mystical branch, with its whirling and repetitive movement. Repetition used to induce trance can also be of a repetitive visual nature, with the swinging pendulum, candle gazing, or any visual repetition. The reason that repetition causes trance and susceptibility to hypnosis is because repetition, especially auditory, causes the brain to fall into sync with its environment, especially of sound. This is called entrainment. So the brain has four speeds, and each of the four speeds is present primarily when an individual is experiencing a different state of consciousness. Or it can work vice versa, a state of consciousness can be induced by changing the brain wave speed. The four speeds & their corresponding states of consciousness are Beta, the fastest, present when the person is in critical thought mode; Alpha, slower than Beta, a transitional state of consciousness from critical thought mode into sleep, relaxation, & creativity; Theta, the next slowest pattern which features the subconscious mind state; and Delta, the unconscious mind, the slowest speed, present in sleep stages. So the repetitive sound used in cults messes with the normal brain wave patterns, to emphasize Theta waves especially. When the brain is experiencing primarily Theta waves, critical thought is gone, the use of language is gone, and the mind communicates only in symbols, colors, smells, and emotions. So since critical thought is gone, this is the stage where hypnotic suggestion can be planted in the person's mind. Suggestions like, "Why don't you go out and blow yourself up." Jesus warned us about "vain repetitions," and I believe he was talking about the type of chanting used in cults. Core Characteristic Two - Submission Islam means "Submission!" Cults in general break down an individual's personal ego, and the chanting used in them breaks down the person's sense of self. There are many other reasons why the person with a poor sense of personal boundaries and lack of self esteem that exist on individual bases. But the mind control, the induction of hypnotic receptivity, used in cults is what molds these negative factors together and makes them lethal. All cults have a cult leader who is worshipped by the people who have a poor sense of self worth. Core Characteristic Three - Siege Mentality Cult members are made to feel it's them and the cult leader against the world. Again, the altered states of consciousness have a big role to play here, because of the deep states of trance that cult members go into, reaching Delta states on an abnormal induced basis. People with an emphasis on Delta are "hypervigilant," with heightened sense of threats. Core Characteristic Four - Ritual What is Ritual? And what can be wrong with it? Ritual is a symbolic action taken, usually to celebrate an event, or to bring family or community together with each other or in touch with God. So rituals usually are positive. A wedding or other religious ceremony is a positive ritual. Then there are the many positive religious rituals, civic rituals, some holidays are a rituals where people get the change to socialize. When does a ritual turn bad? When the person is first induced into a hypnotically receptive state, and then perform the symbolic action, and that's what cults do. Hard Core Characteristic Five - Possession Possession happens in cults partially because the cult follower's guard and common sense are down. Again, the repetition causing the hypnotic state are largely responsible for this state of mind, as well as personal factors of low self esteem. With regular induction of repetition (ie, chanting, drumming, music, movement, or repetitive visual stimuli), the brain is in more frequent states of Theta waves, where the subconscious is prominent. More Theta waves means fewer Beta waves, that means less critical thought, so hypnotic suggestion flies "under the radar" in the cult member's subconscious mind, where the person is less able to question it or even to verbalize or define it because, remember, language is not a function of the subconscious mind. And what does the use of repetition the way it's used in cults cause? It causes a slowing down of brain speeds, and therefore of our personal vibratory rate. And a known characteristic of evil level spiritual realms is a lower vibratory rate; whereas, high spirituality is associated with a high vibratory rate of the aura. Hard Core Characteristic Six - The use of blood in ritual Some occultists I knew used their own blood in rituals, a practice known as "cutting." I never used blood in ritual, instinctively, just feeling that was a bridge too far. But other occultists use their own blood in cutting, and worse. In the Book of Mark, Chapter Five, Jesus heals a possessed man who lived in the tombs. And what did this man do? He continually cut himself. And in the Book of Kings, when Jezebel's "Prophets" of Bael were losing their contest with Elijah, what did they do? They started cutting themselves to summon the demons, whom they thought to be gods. The attraction of blood for the demonic world for blood can be understood in the Biblical quote, "The life of the flesh is in the blood." And further reading of the Book of Mark tells more. The demons begged Jesus to allow them to inhabit another body, any body, the bodies of the pigs, so they would not have to go back to Tartarus. So demons need to possess a body or they go back to the pit. And what's the defining feature of a body, what is the life of the body, that is, of the flesh? It's blood. Some occultists attract demons, whom they believe are gods and goddesses, with the blood, and then drink the blood to have the demon actually inside them, the full blown possession. This is the reason that the Eucharist is the most important ritual in Christianity, because it's Jesus' blood and body, and when we consume it, we are protected against a demonic world. His blood is the only blood that can repel the demonic. Our pathetic human blood can only feed it, if presented during the act of ritual. This is the reason why he had to come here and shed his blood. His is the only one that can fight the demonic. A cult, on the other hand, uses human blood, such as the way Muslims use their own blood in ritual on events such as Ashura.

I would consider taking Islam seriously if they actually held the OT (and even the NT) in the same regard as us. By that I mean, having it as a part of their scriptures. I know that the quran affirms their inspiration, but there is little to no practical application of that fact. From the apostles to the fathers to today, by having both Testaments as the foundation of our Faith (not speaking of the written texts alone here), we Christians has found endless treasures while also stepping up to when reconciliation between them has been challenged. Especially by adherents to Judaism. If Islam had done the same, instead of the pick & choose game they play (what contradicts the religion is corrupted), there could have been something to their claims. Now you have one guy coming centuries years later, claiming to correct what had been corrupted and all he has to show for it is his book that somehow trumps that which came before. This does not even consider what a monumental failure the entire Messiah buisness was on God's end if Islam is true. Heck, even the mormons does not place their schizo book above the OT/NT.

Claim: The Qur’aan cannot be reproduced by any man or jinn (created being) because it is a miraculous text. Reality: The Qur’aan includes human antecedents (apocryphal and Gnostic stories) within it’s text. Question: How then can the Qur’aan not be reproduced, if there are many examples of ayaat from the Qur’aan itself, that have clear human origins? The Qur’aan was a product of its time. It being a highly localised and hyper-collative text, can easily be demonstrated by the fact that it incorporates the same stories that were known to be circulating in the Hijaz and neighbouring regions. These stories either have their origins from Jewish rabbinical traditions and commentaries, the apocrypha and Gnostic stories, and other traditions (such as the Church traditions of the Kathisma Church, which prominent scholar Guillaume Dye has written much about). If Muslims want to argue that these stories are not legends and fables but in fact inspired revelation, they would then be placed in the uncomfortable position of having to prove the authenticity of such stories, for such stories were never deemed to be inspired revelation in history (some of these stories that claim to be from Christ and His apostles, were throughout history held to be unauthentic. The other sources were never believed to be inspired revelation, but simply part of Jewish commentaries to Old Testament verses, you know, the same Old Testament verses which Muslims say is not the Tawraat which Allaah revealed!). Think about this: are we to believe that all of these ‘inspired revelations’ became lost and forgotten for a long period of history, with some (Surah An-Naml 44, Surah al-Anbiya 69, Surah al-Ma’idah 30-35, and others) of them, then somehow appearing again out of the blue in places such as Jewish commentaries (the Targum Sheni, Midrash Rabba, and Targum of Jonathan)? Why are these stories not corroborated elsewhere, but only on the tongues of later writers that never even regarded their words to be inspired revelation? With corroboration of such stories only being from these later writers, did Allaah not know that this would result in many doubting the origins of His supposed inspired revelations? Either Allaah failed to successfully transmit His “inspired revelations” throughout history (in turn, then also making it appear as if He is plagiarising stories from fallible men), or some of these stories found in the Qur’aan are simply just that: stories from fallible men and not the direct verbatim Words of Allaah. Consequently, the Muslim claim that the Qur’aan has divine origins, is refuted. Unless, of course, Muslims want to argue that the Jews that authored the above-mentioned Jewish exegetical texts, were sent and inspired by Allaah too, for the purpose of reminding the Jewish believers about what texts are to be accepted (even though, again, the problem with the Muslim that advances this claim, would be that it makes no sense whatsoever that these “inspired revelations” appear in exegetical works alone). Nothing adds up.

It even fails its own "much contradiction" test. Not only that, but some of the sources are not from God that end up in the Quran because we know when and how they came to be. Don't try to make Daniel look like a coward because he definitely isn't one. In Surah al-‘Imran 48, we find: “And Allaah will teach him (Christ) writing and wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel…”. In this verse, it is clear that what Allaah taught Christ, was the Torah and the Gospel. Muslims understand this to mean that Christ was given the “correct interpretation” of what Allaah revealed to the Prophets. However, it can also mean that Christ was sent by Allaah with a specific purpose to spread His revelations. Now interestingly, in Surah al-‘Imran 50, we find: “And I (Christ) will confirm the Torah revealed before me and legalize some of what had been forbidden to you. I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so be mindful of Allaah and obey me.” In this verse, it is clear that Christ came to 1) confirm that which the Jews accepted, and read, as revelation, and 2) that Christ is not claiming that the revelations have been textually corrupted. This is also further implicit in Christ’s supposed statement that He came to “… legalize some of what had been forbidden to you.” Hence, all those things that were forbidden in the Mosaic law (for the thousand or so years prior), were still being followed by those very Jews that Christ spoke to. For this to be the case, those specific revelations must have remained preserved. And if they were, which is what this verse suggests, then what good reason do we have to posit the textual corruption of other parts of the scriptures?

For my protestant brothers and sisters, Muslims can easily trick you, and it comes from what I've seen called a broken Trinity found commonly in protestant circles, most main stream prodestants already refer to/think of God the Father as "God" and Jesus as only "Jesus", this faulty distinction makes it easy for Muslims to make Jesus seem like He isn't God as much as the Father is, protestants also don't have basic knowledge on how God works, you'll find anologies like the 3 states of matter to "explain" the Trinity, however, obviously this analogy doesn't work, since it kind of leans into modalism, God isn't changing here, the Trinity is, was, and always will be God. I'm a former protestant, I'm now finding my home in orthodoxy, I truly do hope if a protestant sees this, they might educate themselves on the Trinity to not fall to the deceitful religion of Islam, like I almost did.

@olliew7225 I appreciate your criticism, and, while worded in a manner that seems odd to a protestant (or even a former protestant, lol), it is viable, however it should be noted that the Persons are still sharers of the same Essence to dispel any confusion, and the Father is indeed the Cause of the other Persons. My time within the Church has assisted me in expressing this more clearly, so again, good criticism

I will assume you are talking about the Ash'ari school of thought when it came to God's attributes in Islam. Which begs the question why you think its contradictory for them to believe God may possess the essence of an attribute even if we can observe it by the same name on earth? My issue with the Trinity is this. Why would God introduce such a fundamentally confused ideal, opposed to his original revelation of Self? #UnitarianChristian When I was still trinitarian, the confusion I faced when praying was something else. I never quite knew who was listening because if one is seated at the right had of another, then those are two different beings. The Lord your God is One. Then, the fact that God would create human beings who are already damned to hell is unreasonable. How come Jews never wrote about hell? Ecclesiastice speaks of the soul returning to the One who made it. At this point, all religion is confusing. Ezekiel 18 (I forgot the verse), God declares that the soul that repents will be saved/forgiven. So, that forgiveness wasn't sufficient and so Jesus had to die? Even in the Psalms, repentance guarantees forgiveness. Wasn't there eternal life before Jesus? Wasn't this way sufficient?

Hey Jay I’m a big fan of yours (I’m Muslim). I love how you see the truth of the deceptive powers in the world we live in. I see you are loyal to God and truth and justice 👍. That being said, I do have one suggestion for you kindly. I do urge you to read the Quran in its entirety with an open mind (meaning not cancelling it without giving it a chance) and I hope you will see that many of the points you brought up will be nullified; such as prophets not deviating from previous teachings and ritual sacrifice and places of worship being key parts. These are all answered throughout the Quran IF one is sincere and reads it in its entirety removing as much bias as possible. Love you brother in the name of God almighty and just like yourself I too am awaiting the reappearance of the messiah Jesus. I hope you dont reject him when he rejects your worship and informs you that worship belongs to the one true God and nothing in the universe is like unto Him; which means that humans can be just but will never be just to the extent of God. Humans can be merciful and loving but never in the capacity of God. That is the meaning of “there is nothing like unto Him”. Everything in the universe (prophets, messiahs , angels, spirits) are from his creation , and are ultimately subordinate to His authority ie: in submission to Him. Love you my brother now let’s turn our attention to striving in Gods cause against our sworn enemy satan.

The Old Covenant was for Spiritual children, the New Covenant is for Spiritual adults; We can offer worship to God through created things, because we are not worshipping the things, but the one who created them; The Israelites worshipping the golden calf was idolatry, because they worshipped the *thing* as God. We do not bow down to our icons as God, nor serve them as God(as if our icons were anything of themselves), therefore we do not commit idolatry. We do not make creatures our gods(unless we do, then we must repent! Gluttony, avarice, pride, anyone?). We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, according to the Creed, and in His only-begotten Son, and the Spirit which proceeds from the Father. There is one principle, one source of generation(Son) and procession(Spirit), the Monarch of the Trinity and the unity of the Godhead, God the Father. We worship one God, who manifests as three Persons in perfect communion with one another. The Father loves the Son in the Spirit, and the Son returns that love to the Father with the same Spirit. The Spirit reveals the Son and the Father to us, and draws us into that relationship of Father and Son through adoption in Jesus Christ. Hear, O Israel, your God is one.

Tanzih is the idea that allah is above anything, infinitely. Therefore, the Quran, being finite in its written form, is useless in describing allah, because no matter what is written, it can only be a finite descriptor since it is limited by created language. Therefore, the idea that the Quran does not offer a full but a slight encapsulation into Allah’s attributes and names is also incorrect, because if you collect a glass of water from an infinite bucket of water, the water in the glass is still infinitely less than what is still in the bucket. Any attempt to describe allah with written terms is infinitely less than what allah truly is, which adds into your point that Muslims can only worship a concept. Not to mention that not only are the names and descriptors no better at describing allah than scribbles on a page, but the nous in humanity is also created, and therefore, very limited in comparison to allah. Therefore, not only are Muslims worshipping a concept rather than what allah truly is or even a smudge of that, but they are worshipping something which is infinitely unlike what allah truly is.

If you are a man, debate Muhammed Hijab.

He issued M.Hijab a debate challenge a while while back on Twitter, I'm unaware if M.Hijab saw or responded to it. I don't see this having to do with being a man, Dyer has already debated Williams, Rashid, Ally, Haqiqatjou...

@@AA-zs7jwI've watched his debates with Christians and Atheists, I'm sure he debates in a compelling and heated way. Dyer was first to issue a challenge, and from his other debates on Islam I'm sure would fair well

@@AA-zs7jwMaybe you could raise Dyers challenge to Hijab, I know that Hijab possesses a background in History, Philosophy and does polemics against Church History, which Dyer is indeed a resident expert for us Orthodox and posseses a background in both fields

Question: what if people anywhere around the world for any reason don’t have access to a liturgical service or an Orthodox Church for that matter? Straight to hell?

Luke 12:48 “To whom much is given much is required” the orthodox church doesn’t make no salvation outside the church statements as far as I know

I won't sugarcoat it; Those who come to the knowledge of the existence of the Orthodox Church should sound out the Orthodox Faith, and not carelessly, unless they are found to have rejected the Truth. God will leave none of us with any excuse on the last day. I believe that the Orthodox Church is the true Church of Jesus Christ, and that it is nothing less than the normative route for the salvation of mankind in all its messy God-man glory. Will not God have mercy upon those He will have mercy? Nevertheless, if you receive the honor of being called into the Church, can you neglect so great a salvation? God promises to make His faithful adoptive children by grace what Jesus Christ is by nature. My Father died outside the Church, and I have faith in the mercy of God to redeem his soul, but if anyone is saved having been outside of the Church at death, I believe it has and is and will be on account of the prayers of the Church. I am spiritually sick, but I didn't even begin to know just how sick I was, before I entered the Church; I just knew I was sick and needed the Physician. Five years in, and the Lord has done wonderful things for me and in me, like lessening my dependence on addictive, self-destructive and sinful habits. I have experienced the healing power of purifying grace through the praxis of the Orthodox Faith, in prayer and fasting and confession and the other Mysteries of the Church.
