Chip or Mark Duplass was sooo freaking phenomenal! He was overshadowed by Witherspoon and Aniston. Gugu Mbtha-Raw was also incredible. And I always love seeing Billy Crudup. But Duplass was the standout to me

My mother was one of the first women in the male~dominated field of journalism. She was often the only woman in the newsroom, though there was sometimes a female receptionist. She later became an editor of several different local newspapers, before 'groups,' who never wanted to be called, 'chains.' Mom was hazed heavily during her early years, with professors putting their byline names to her articles, to which she responded, "I am a far better writer than you're ever going to be." The newsroom boys painted her chair, desk, telephone, & old black Underwood typewriter with pink nail polish. I am extremely proud of whom my mother was in the workforce; however, it was certainly not without cost, neither to herself, nor to me as her daughter, as i was her support system with raising siblings, & doing household chores far beyond my age. The great irony is that i was not taught to forge my own way & become a woman of influence. I was taught to support other people's dreams with doing the grunt work. I suppose, really, everyone needs support, & work which challenges & satisfies us. Men have often benefited from such support as having a stay at home wife, or partner who does 'double duty," pulling an extra 'at-home shift' after her workday is done. That women are equally capable in most work positions, except perhaps those requiring direct heavy lifting, is quite clear. She also cleared the way for all of the women who followed in her path. I only wish she had not relied so much upon my efforts, & that she had empowered me more as her daughter. As it was, when i went away to college, which she had not wanted me to do, as she was terrified, apparently, of losing her support from me, she then hired a full~time, live~in maid!

I really like this show. Mostly because it shows the different sides of the conflict. It's not a story just about bad men and good women it is about wrong decisions and concealment of truth, unhealthy environment on work. Everyone was ok with Mitch behavior. And just after big scandal they all deside he is a bad man. But at the same time some of them (girls) admitted that it is normal to sleep with a colleague. I can't judge them cos they spent all time on work. What else can they do? But some of them consiously chose to sleep with a married man. It's ok if you are both single but sex with the married... That's wrong. The cast is brillian. Steve Carell... I didn't know he could be so charming and sexy. I'm kinda even understand these poor woman. And Jen and Reese. What a women! So powerful smart and strong! I want to see more dynamic between these two. An Billy Crudup's character. I can't figure him out yet. Very shady man.

Every time Cory appeared i knew it was getting more and more exciting. I love the character bc i can't figure him out. Also it's very interesting to watch a show(or a movie) that isn't just black and white(there are bad and good guys), they just are humans, they are perfectly imperfect, they show their vulnerablities AND their strenghts, sometimes at the same time. Whole experience watching this show was just amazing👍

I love this series as it shows women who are not scared to take control, rather than ask for permission. It also shows how sexual relationships at work are complicated, and how younger women can give in to an older male in power but it is not always consensual. Very well depicted, and very happy with the climax, when the women speak the truth.

I like this show because it doesnt go with the generic rhetoric of "women are oppressed and good, white straight men are bad" aka the lily Singh narrative. It's not like those anti-drug seminars at school/work where everyone knows drugs are bad and it's the same thing that is said over and over again. It's full of drama and it doesbt have the cliche that the women are good and rise to the top and corporate America and straight white men are bad.
