Thank you for your list! It's close to but not exactly like mine would be. But that's the beauty of a variety of cuisines, right? I look forward to first-time trying one of your favorites and giving another of them one more chance.

It's SO HARD to make a list. The restaurants in Fort Smith, on a per capita basis, have to be some of the best in the country. Possibly the world.

Good to know if I ever go there 😉

Aw thanks :) Both will make a future list, I'm sure.

Mercedes will take good care of you at Las Americas. Probably the cleanest restaurant in town - either location. I doubt anyone who rides the bus or a bike to dinner will be eating at any of these places. Check out Noodles and Crawfish on Phoenix Ave. (Vietnamese & Cajun)

I agree about Las Americas, I have been there a few dozen times and everything is perfect every time. I personally ride a bicycle almost exclusively and eat at all these restaurants regulaly (I'm going to Stonehouse tonight, in fact). Noodles and Crawfish is great, but unfortunately they were not open yet when I made this video.

I expected Doe's eat place to be here, guess I haven't ventured far enough in the fort smith restaurant scene

Doe's is based out of Mississippi so it doesn't count, although I agree it is fantastic.

Your list is too artsy fartsy. Benson's is better than the booger on a half shell. Calico country is awesome. Eunice is pretty Damned good.

Though I appreciate the knowledge share, I do have a couple of issues to call out. See below: 1. You have 0 Vietnamese restaurants - Pho Vietnam is a gem, and there are various other great Vietnamese spots that you missed in a city that is largely highlighted by its Vietnamese offerings 2. Patrick's is a local chain that spawned out of a spot in Russellville
@AndyInTheFortАй бұрын
#9 on the list, Three Girls Pho, is Vietnamese. Agreed that there are a plethora of amazing Vietnamese options. I unfortunately could not include every restaurant. Russellville is from Arkansas, so it counts. Other local chains such as Razorback Pizza, Slim Chickens, Gusano's, etc. would also count.

@@AndyInTheFort Thanks for the civil response! Also, my apologies on both "callouts" of mine above - I'm not sure why, but I was in an argumentative mood that day. Finally, I want to say that I was incorrect on Patrick's - I had mixed it up with CJ's Butcher Boy Burgers in Russ Vegas. I will now tuck my tail and find a rock to crawl under for a few days. *EDIT* Three Girls Pho looks great! Don't think it was around when I lived in the area. My go-to was always Pho Vietnam 🤤

El super Taco Ed Walker's there's a few Mexican places on that road I don't know the name of the street that in between super Taco and Ed Walker

Sorry, Nara Chicken is awful. Also, while I recognize that three girls has a good reputation and deservedly so, if you're going to put that type of food on your list, the obvious candidate would be Pho Vietnam, which not only has a larger menu, but the chef is top-notch and her presentation is off the charts good. The food is the best in town in this category, and includes French influences, because, duh! Vietnam, which was once a French protectorate.

Ah a list that's almost completely useless to me. Let's just say it's a good thing the local crusine is not one of the reasons why i moved here. It's atleast nice to know what the dining atmosphere is.

Patrick’s is trash. Just gotta put that out there. And half of your honorable mentions are just as bad as Patrick’s. Not that I would take the advice of some bikeboi anyway.
