Idlewild is off the hook and worth the admission. I'm a huge Mr. Rogers mark and there's even a Mr. Rogers museum exhibit across the street from the sportsball stadiums. They probably had to get rid of the theming for cash purposes, but you can still tell you're on a train in the storybook village. Round-Up and any variation of that is my favorite carnival flat. Spider is a classic, but loading takes forever. I love the more colorful Octopus flat. It's more colorful, but not as intense with the spinning. Those are harder to find now though.

The park would be perfect for kids if they had better capacity for their top rides. That's my one issue for them.

Probably the same top 4 for me. I was lucky that Wild Mouse opened in the last hour. It was worth getting to my hotel at midnight to get a couple rides on it. I did do some of the waterslides while waiting, and although they aren't world class, they were still fun. I look forward to going back to Idlewild next year with my newly acquired Palace Entertainment platinum pass.

That sounds similar to my experience when I got on Wild Mouse when they kept working at it until it opened late in the day.

For the waterpark that matt racer is awesome. Especially if you go on a dead day and you join a party of 2 that's lapping the thing. Had so much fun doing that I may consider putting the matt racer at #1, such a fun experience. That said I know it isn't easy to replicate so I probably wouldn't put it there without that kind of experience. Also you forgot to include the flyers, the Idlewild flyers are second only to the Knobles flyers as far as flyers I've experienced.

That Vekoma mouse and the round up are a pair of rides that are probably too intense for the park's target audience. A Vekoma family Boomerang would be great here. And maybe I was just lucky with my visit, but the park was dead. I was able to squeeze on the next trolley for Daniel Tiger. But perhaps because it was so dead, Confusion Hill was always unavailable for me.

It's such a shame that palace destroyed this once great park. I still go there a few times a year, but it's nothing like it was before palace bought it

Did the capacity on the main rides used to be better? That's my big issue with it.

@@CanobieCoaster my biggest issue is how much they charge for the small amount of things to do there. Pretty much every year they've removed a ride or attraction and just leaves an empty space there. Story book forest used to be much better taken care of. But to answer your question, the capacity on rollo coaster is significantly worse because there used to be no restraint whatsoever before the accident, not even a seatbelt.
