The ones in Orlando and Singapore are an inclined launch with a drop twisting to the right immediately after. Trust me, it’s *so much better* than the one in California. You get crazy ejector airtime on any seat. Plus, being eaten by Imhotep is cool tbh.

The way I see it, Millie's drop has 3 phases, the "woah, that's a long way down" phase (before the airtime really starts), the phase where I'm actually screaming (floater starts), and then the phase where I realize the drop is only halfway down and it's already been ridiculously long (the part where it strengthens to lifter). Oh, that's also when my vocal chords give out, rofl.

I think you should definitely try Millie in the back seat, I thought it was the best drop I’ve ever experienced. Let me explain. The power of the drop with the long trains makes the airtime borderline ejector. Combine this with the view of the lake and the park, and with torrential winds hitting your face as your body rises above the back of the other persons seat. Combine this with the fact that this drop lasts forever in completely exposed trains. It’s amazing, especially on a stormy day or later in the day. Great video, I enjoyed it a lot.

The most coasters i have ridden are in Germany so here is what i think: Der Fluch von Novgorod It starts with a dark ride section, After this you have a little pre drop in pitch black darkness that really whips you in your seat. Then, out of nowhere you hear the LSMs shaking as you accelerate to 100kph (66mph) in 1 second, flying into a maverick style Bank that shoots you up in the daylight onto an ejector Air filled tophat. Really good launch, and it really catches you offguard how sudden it appears Taron Tarons second launch is also LSM, so it is sure not as intense as many others you named. The first launch is set up with music and is also intense for a LSM, and it really sets the tone for the ride. Tarons first Half feels like it tries to throw you off its back in a good way. You enjoy a really good ride, and At one Point Taron loses a bit of pacing, slides into low ground S-Curves that scream "Brakerun incoming". It feels like Taron has given up on throwing you off, as it dives Down under ground Level and suddenly you find yourself on a seemingly endless LSM launch again. Then, before you realize it, it literally shoots you through this whole thing faster you can realize and the Rest of the ride that follows is even better than what came before. The 2nd launch itself is great but the way its integrated in the Layout and how it catches you makes it my #1. Der Schwur des Kärnan A twisted, vertical Drop from 200 feet in a dark tower. Is there something to add? In the Last row you are out of your seat the entire way down with the Wall (what feels like) 2 feet away from your head. Really unique, thrilling experience, + its also only with a little Lapbar

El toro ryan goes into more detail in his video about kingda ka, but the roughness is from the height of the launch track and how the trains are too heavy, while the ones on dragster are bottom heavy.

I remember my first ride on Skyrush, when I was there in 2014, I hadn't read anything about the forcefulness of the ride, since I had been absent from the coaster community. I went in thinking it's just another hyper coaster, but built by Intamin. I was sitting in the front row and my arms were in the air until when the radius of the drop cadges (the bump) and I was catapulted out of my seat completely unexpectedly. That drop is absolutely insane, the seating arrangement also helped amplifying that experience. When I go back to the US, Hershey Park is on my list, just because I want to ride Skyrush again.. Love that coaster !

Great list! I can imagine Volcano's launches were great! I never had the chance to ride it. Storm Runner's launch sure is powerful. It may go 0-72 mph, but boy is it powerful. I can feel the G-forces pressing on my chest on that launch! The drop on GaleForce at Playland's Castaway Cove in Ocean City New Jersey is incredible! After it launches it makes you feel like you're going to be launched out of your seat! My favorite drop would have to be on Verbolten though because you're inside not expecting it and then it drops. The only thing with that drop is it's not a vertical drop or any of the ordinary, it's a drop track. It drops about 18 feet, but it sure takes you by surprise.

I'm so happy that Hershey retrofitted Storm Runner with the soft vests because back when it had the hard restraints, it was kind of painful to day the least, no matter where in the train you sat. I think that probably affects me not ranking it as high as some because all my memories end in an ear splitting headache lol

Most underrated drop in the world: Skull Mountain back row. Probably one of the most violent ejector airtime moments you will ever experience. That drop should in no way be that good. It's unbelievable.

On Skyrushs drop, i did appreciate how it seems to hit that max angle at the bottom of the hill and you get that jolt you mentioned but to me it was like "oh that made the drop pretty good" but #1 overall...thats high praise

Best launch: Furius Baco at PortAventura. I rode it in the front row and wow does this thing pack a punch Best drop: Shambala at PortAventura. The sheer speed you get during that drop is insane, plus it's very smooth

Millie’s drop would’ve been 11 or 12 (interchangeable with Wonder Woman’s at SFFT). I prefer crazier, more violent drops. and there’s no way I could include Shambhala, Fury or Orion. I’ve ridden Mako, Behemoth and Leviathan which all have similar, if not virtually identical drops. They easily lack the craziness I look for in a good launch

@@CoasterDash I know you've ridden B&M hypers and I've not. The reason I picked the three I did was because Shambala is the biggest B&M with the long stadium seating trains, Fury 325 is the biggest and Orion is almost as big but is the steepest. The reason I did NOT include I-305 was because despite it being a steep drop of 300' preceded by a 17 MPH lift hill, the contour of that drop it's concave (mostly pulling out of it), rather than about half convex (mostly going into the drop, like Skyrush)

@John Lorton the twist in xcelerator’s stop still ruins it. A straight drop is 100% better. Believe it or not my home Park is six flags america 😂. I’m only defending skyrush and storm runner because skyrush is overhated and storm runner doesn’t get enough credit. But like I said, height is not everything. Maverick is still better the top thrill dragster right? The inversions on storm runner actually add to the experience and have airtime. Unlike dragster’s straight section, xcelerator’s pointless turns, and kingda ka’s drawn out hill.
